Great color!
This dress was super comfy for a black tie gala. Deep vee so I used fashion tape to make sure it remained work appropriate. The color was eye catching and I got many compliments. The back cut out was also very flattering. The only negative is that the fabric didn't feel lux, I wouldn't have bought this in the store for the price but am happy I rented it. Very high slit, ended up using fashion tape to bring.it down about 3 inches.

good utility blazer
Cute blazer to wear to work. I liked the fabric and the cropped fit-- but the sleeves were definitely on the short side and didn't have a cute lining to make a "roll up" sleeve convincing.

pretty dress
this was a pretty dress, loved to color and the fabric, but the fit was a little funny with the waist ties. Not sure what didn't work for me about it, but it wasn't the most flattering (this is sort of a "go to" silhouette for me, so maybe the fabric was just a little too thick to really cinch well?)

awkward length
I love the fabric of these pants, but the length was a little off for me. I'm 5'9 and thought the wide leg pant needed to hit higher if it was ankle length, or lower if it was full length. Not really sure what the goal was. Otherwise, well made and nice fabric.

Cute pants, with caveats
Rented the pants and vest and wore it to work under a blue blazer. I really like the slouchy look, had to add a belt to keep the pants high enough to tuck in the vest. Pants were a tad too see through for my office culture, so I wore long Spanx underneath. Very wrinkly after a 2 hour meeting, but I think it looks fine with the oversize vibe. I am 5'9 and expected the pants to be long due to the other reviews but I had to wear ballet flats with them.

loved these so much
I ended up buying these, I was such a huge fan. The double pleat looks great; during my rental I wore them with an ivory sweater tucked in and a sweater vest over a tee. I could easily wear them with a tee for a slouchy, casual look or dressed up for work. I felt pulled together instantly, and the pants were super comfy and versatile. Normally I don't love synthetic fabric but the drape in these pants was just perfect. I'm 5'9 and wore them with flats.

Comfy dress!
I rented this knowing it isn't the most flattering color OR type of dress on my body (I don't really have the hips to shape a bodycon dress like this), but I like it for a rental anyway. Super comfy and cute with boots! The slit felt a bit high for work-- and this is after I discovered the previous renter had already safety pinned it shut about two inches 😂

I loved wearing this dress. It is super comfy, but drew a lot of compliments with its bold print. I paired it with a tuxedo jacket for a wedding that was slightly colder than expected. I'm 5'9 and wore flats with the regular length, and it was perfect.

Very pretty, l lot of volume at the hips
I really liked this dress! As a 34/36B, I didn't have to wear a bra (the fabric is nice and thick where it counts), and it was super comfortable. I have a pretty straight figure and normally love things that give the illusion of fuller hips, but I thought this might have had just a tad too much volume. The top foot or so of the lace lining is lined in solid white, which (along with the pockets) adds to the hippier look. Certainly not a deal breaker, but something to be aware of!

Fun, comfortable dress!
I tried this dress on in the Georgetown store and ended up renting a different one, but came back for it a month later for a different event. Its such a unique dress! I thought it was pretty TTS, if maybe a tad large. Very comfortable, didn't have to worry about any gaping at the sides (which I thought might be an issue). Definitely recommend!

Perfect earrings!
These earrings were on of my favorite RTR rentals. I decided to splurge on them for a masquerade, and they were so beautiful!!! Since they were gold there were a bit of a neutral, but still interesting. Little heavy by the end of the night, as expected.

LOVED this dress. Ran true to size and was super comfortable. Someone had tacked the neck in the 6L (it was different in my backup size), but that worked out well and I didn't have to use fashion tape. The dress was super fun to wear, very swishy.

Very unique, tons of compliments
I got this as my backup dress and they only had a size 8L available (normally I'm a size 6L, sometimes a 4L). It was true to size and a little big, but not a huge deal and definitely wearable. The dress has a subtle shimmer that's super pretty, and a very formal-preppy look which made it fun to wear. The boning was sticking out a little bit, which was a tad uncomfortable, but no other complaints. Would recommend.

Really pretty dress!! I never wear yellow because I'm so pale, but with the white I thought I could get away with it. Loved the dress, great fit and very comfy. I wore pasties (think it would be hard to wear a strapless with how deep the V is), and had to constantly remember to correct my posture all night so I wouldn't be giving someone a show. Fashion tape would have fixed this, didn't think about it until I sat down in the car on the way to the event.

This was my first experience with Rent the Runway; I'll definitely be back!
The color and the drape of this dress is simply beautiful! Being blonde and tragically pale, I typically steer clear of anything orange, but this particular orange had enough red in it that the color was stunning! I ordered the 40L (4) and 42L (6) for a formal gala. It is true that the dress turned out to be absurdly long; I never anticipated that I should have ordered the regular length, being 5'9 and wearing 4" heels. I ended up having to hold up the dress while I walked, but it was a small price to pay for all the compliments I received on it (it was only an inch too long, didn't seem worth the bother of hem tape). The size difference between the 40L and the 42L was a little interesting, ultimately I went with the 42L because the draping hit me at my hips like the model in the photo, the draping for the size 40L ended up hitting me at my natural waist. There was a little excess fabric on the top shoulder, but i just attributed that to sizing up. It was a beautiful, comfortable dress to wear all evening and I highly recommend it, but definitely think twice about which length is right for you!
