Formal dress, but too long for me
I got this as a backup option to wear to a formal event where you were supposed to wear black, white, and or silver, without stilettos due to the floor. This picture is me (5’4”) in high heels. In the heels, it could have worked, but in flats like I was planning, it was way too long.

Perfect length on 5’4” and comfy
This dress was perfect for an event I went to where we were supposed to wear black, white, and/or silver formal wear, but no stilettos due to the floor. I’m 5’4” and the Regular length was perfect for me in flats. I wore a strapless bra. The spaghetti strap side was too long so I safety pinned it in the back. Seems like a dress that would be good for packing small and not get wrinkly.

Cute & easy with some color
Fit was as-expected - wore the medium for 5’4”, 135-140 lbs. The length was good. You can wear a regular bra with no problem. The colors maybe make it more of a “winter” dress, but note that if you are going to wear tights or spanx, they will show in the back if they come up much higher than where you would wear pants or a skirt. It’s a nice dress that I would recommend, but isn’t quite as differentiated as others I have rented, or stand out in a crowd as much (...but sometimes that’s ok), which is my reason for 4 stars rather than 5. Note: I did review a different dress with 1-2 stars in the past and the review never got posted. Hopefully this one does :)

Beautiful dress but the pink is not so noticeable
I'm 140 pounds, 5'4", 34D. I wore this with no bra and had no issues. I was wearing heels, which was necessary for the length in the back, and the hi/low style made the shoes noticeable! Loved that. I wore the size 6, and while I would say it generally was true to size, I am currently wearing a Banana Republic size 6 dress which is definitely larger than this dress was. The pink doesn't end up being that noticeable (maybe the subtlety was better?), I think for a few reasons. 1) you often end up standing sideways, and the sides are longer. 2) pictures are taken from above, so again the angle is off. 3) I even steamed the dress to try and make the folds less severe, but the waves of the dress still hid the pink. All of those things said, I was still very happy with the rental. Great for a black tie Florida summer wedding! Ps. I've written other reviews for dresses I didn't have a good experience with and they never got posted.

Pretty dress, but tough zipper
Pros: high quality material, can wear a regular bra, great color, unique with the ruffles, good length I had no idea what to make of the Italian sizing, but based on other reviews, I ordered the 42 and 44. I'm 5'4", 135 lbs, and 34D. I wore the 44, but mostly because of the chest. It fit on top for me. The bottom is shaped to go around your hips, except I have no hips, so that part was loose on me. As others have said, the side zipper is exptremely difficult to zip, which also impacted my decision to wear the 44. The bottom half of the 42 did fit. There are pockets; however, since the color isnt something dark, you can see the outline of anything you put in it. Also as others have said, the ruffle lays strangely in front, but you can play with it to put it how you want. Cons: tough zipper, hips to chest ratio was larger than necessary for me

Gorgeous & so many compliments
I got this as a backup since my original style was unwearable and this was perfect. Since it was a backup, they didn't have a 4 available (which I wanted), so I got a 2R and 6R. I couldn't zip the 2 but the 6 was great. I'm 5'4", 133 lbs & 34D. I did wear high heels (100mm, which is almost 4 inches) though and there was a slight drag. I got so many compliments & would highly recommend it. A regular strapless bra works well.

Super cute for bridal/white party events
I wore this dress for my rehearsal dinner and loved it. I wore a strapless bra. I'd say it fits true to size, but maybe a little tight in the bust area. Note I'm a 34D and it worked fine. There is no stretch though. As I think others say, the lining in the dress oddly stuck out and was longer than the dress itself. The only thing I can think of is that the dress itself has shrunk over time, but the lining hasn't. So, I actually got the lining hemmed - shouldn't have had to, but I wanted to wear the dress. So for whoever rents the size 4 dress I had, this problem has been resolved! This also brings up that yes... I'm 5'4" and it was on the shorter side. For a bachelorette party with high heels, I would have felt fine. For anything else, I'd probably suggest shorter heels or flats. Last, note that this was actually my second choice dress but the backup size of my first choice wasn't available, which is why rtr sent me this in the first place. I actually liked this one better so wore it even though the other one did fit. My point is that when you do rtr, there will be snafus with sizes being available (not every time you rent, but this wasn't the first time it happened to me). Be flexible, and do fill out their request for backup styles - it will be worth it, versus them picking out the backups themselves! Not sure what my details show, but at the time of wearing this I was 5'4" and 125 lbs.

Great color and fit
I had high expectations for this dress based on all of the reviews and I wasn't let down! The color and fit were great, and you could of course wear a normal bra. I wore this for engagement pictures.

Lots of compliments, nice color
Both the 2 and the 4 fit but I chose to wear the 4 since it had more chest room - felt a little suffocated in the 2. Otherwise, like everyone else says: it's a little short, thick material, looks great. It does have shoulder pads but a friend actually specifically told me she liked the shoulders. Not sure what the auto stats will show, but I'm 5'4", 125 lbs, 34D.

Great front, difficult back
This dress runs true to size, the gold is noticeable, it does not have any stretch, & the zipper is difficult. The V-neck is deep but not too revealing (36D here). The downside is that - if you wear a bra (as I did... figured it was worth it) - it will show. I have a low-back bra, which I thought would work here. It did work better than a regular bra, but because the hole is so wide, the black of my band did still show. Alas... the front was great! Oh and the zipper was impossible to get up - even while not on. But I learned from the FAQ section of the RTR website to rub the zipper with bar soap or a candle. I used the soap and it worked!

safe dress
I've rented this before in the blue/green color so knew what to expect. It's pretty conservative & the fabric does stretch. I did not find it to be itchy under the arms despite the sequins. It's a straight dress so not really fitted. There is enough room in the chest area to not be squished... and you can wear a regular bra.

Flattering fit, but not the right colors for me
RTR sent me this as a backup since a dress I wanted wasn't available. I actually thought the fit/shape was very flattering (there is some stretch) but the colors don't work for my skin tone. I wish they had this same dress in a different color scheme!

Pretty fabric/colors but not especially flattering
I got this dress because one I wanted wasn't available in the size I had requested, so only ended up getting one size of this. I thought this dress was very pretty - the fabric, colors, and shine, but it runs big and I didn't think it was especially flattering. I am a 36D and still thought the chest was big. The sizing may have to do with that it isn't naturally a 6/8/10 sizing system, but instead is 38-48, so maybe they sent me the wrong one to correspond to a 10.

Loved this
Loved this dress. I thought it was a little snug - no real stretch. Although, I felt like there was ample space in the chest area (as opposed to being squeezed in). As you can see in the pic, I wore this with a chunky gold necklace.

Comfortable dress!
Wore this to a wedding. Fits true to size & also has a little bit of stretch, so was comfortable. You can wear a normal bra, which is always a plus. The blue is noticeable on the black. The pictures tell the rest!

Wouldn't recommend for fuller chests
Had I tried this on in a store, I likely wouldn't have chosen it. It looked good straight on, but from any other angle, the V was no flattering. I wouldn't recommend for larger chests.

the high-low effect wasn't actually as noticeable as it appears in the model picture. However, I was very happy with the dress and would recommend RTR based on this experience! I got a size 8 and a 10. I ended up wearing the 10, but either would have been fine. Note (I can't remember if other people said this) that the top half did seem a little large. With a full chest, I still felt the need to stand up straight and shoulders back to make sure the top didn't appear loose... good posture was probably good anyways :)
