I oram go ally tried the size S but the armholes were huge and too much of my bra showed. The size XS didn’t have this problem, but the material was very frayed on the “whipped cream” portion of the banana split image, making it hard to tell what it was.

Silky material, beautiful shade of green, very low/open neckline.
I ended up not wearing this as the neckline was very low and open, and it didn't lay right with a safety pin or camisole. The fabric is beautiful and the draping is very nice, but this dress just didn't work for me. Might be best on someone who's tall and thin.

Stunning rich sapphire color and sculptural lines.
The fabric is a beautiful rich sapphire with a subtle sheen. The skirt has a sculptural quality and the high-low effect is both pretty and practical-- not tripping while walking and going upstairs! The simplicity of the top is a nice balance to the flare and form of the skirt. The top was a little tight on me, but the length was just right in modest heels. Got lots of compliments and loved wearing this dress!

Beautifully made dress, great print, sleeves a little tight in the shoulder area.
The dress is beautifully made and the fabric and print are elegant. The dress fit beautifully-- nicely contoured without being too tight. Doesn't wrinkle easily or ride up. The only issue, as others have mentioned, is that the sleeves/shoulders are very snug without any give, so it's hard to lift your arms. This is the only reason I wouldn't want to own this dress, but I was happy to wear it a couple of times.

Festive, pretty, unusual.
Beautiful and interesting dress. Love the illusion neckline. Got lots of compliments. The shoulders were a bit high on me (I am only 5'1") and if I pulled the top down for the shoulders to fit, the neckline would be too low, but other than that it was great.

Touch of Hollywood glamour with plunging neckline
The dress seems very old Hollywood, with the glamorous (but not tacky) silver lame material, side slit and deep neckline. It could have been a little better made for a more seamless look and smoother drape, but overall was a stylish and flattering gown. I ended up wearing a different dress to the black-and-silver wedding we were going to-- I felt like I'd be adjusting the neckline the whole night-- but it was a very good option.

Flared skirt and unusual pattern and design make this a fun and distinctive dress.
Cinched waist and flared skirt make for a flattering and fun shape. The shoulders puckered a bit from too much time on a hanger, and the sleeves were very long on me but I was able to push them up. Looked better in person than in photos. I wore it numerous times (on the Unlimited plan) to both work events and dressier cocktail parties and always felt appropriately dressed in it. I paired it with black tights and black boots or patent leather pumps.

Sexy black dress, shows a lot on top.
The dress was sexy and elegant, with see-through lace panels and a wide planning neckline. The cleavage itself is covered by straps but the "peek-a-boo" areas on either side were rather revealing. The size 4P fit perfectly but I decided not to wear the dress as it was a little too revealing for the wedding we were going to.

Comfortable, easy to wear, festive
Wore this to a silver-and-black wedding on New Year's Eve and it was just right. The top is very simple, plain even, but the folded pleats and subtle opening in the back where the fabric cross-crosses add interest, and you can dress it up with a necklace. The skirt is covered in swirls of silver sequins with just the right amount of shine, not too bright. The skirt even on the Regular is on the short side, which is perfect for me at 5'1" but would be too short for anyone over ~5'4".

Pretty rainbow colors and black mesh neckline
The dress was lovely but not amazing (no compliments on it!). Pretty colors and design but the skirt was poorly pressed and I didn't have time to steam or iron it. Also hard to find the right brad with it-- I wore a bra with clear straps but you could see them through the black mesh and part of the bra cup showed through too. A low-cut strapless bra or self adhesive bra might work better.

Edgy but classy.
I like the leather-like appearance and texture, and the dress seems well made and doesn't wrinkle easily. I'd read that it runs small so I got the size 6 (I am normally a 4 or even 2) and it worked well. The cap sleeves are a little out of keeping with the sleekness of the rest of the dress, and I didn't feel like I wanted to own this dress, but for a one-time experience, it was a fun and different dress to wear.

Loved the contrast in colors and texture, and the classy simple shape of the dress. Unfortunately the 4 was too tight in the hips and bust for me (I am usually a size 2 or 4), so I couldn't wear it. Would love to rent the size 6 next time and see how that works.

Sparkly, edgy, but subtle.
This dress is very fun and a little elegant at the same time. It is very sparkly, but the colors are soft so it's not over-the-top. The high neckline and long sleeves balance out the short hemline, making for a fun, mod statement. As others have mentioned, the sequins manage not to be too itchy or stiff. I haven't worn this dress yet but only because I was sick and couldn't attend the party it was intended for. I'd rent it again for an event that calls for something festive, stand-out, and a little edgy. The sleeves were pretty long on me but tucking them under worked fine, and securing them with fashion tape or safety pins would probably work well.

Wonderful fabric and pattern.
Loved the comfortable, flattering neoprene fabric and the eye-catching yet subtle pattern. This dress ran small on me-- I am normally a size 2 or 4, but needed the size 6 (which I'd chosen as my backup size based on other reviews that suggested sizing up). Unfortunately, the size 6 I'd been sent had a defect in the skirt/hemline (it seemed like the lining was sewn on wrong) so the skirt puckered and stood out in front badly enough that it couldn't be worn. (The size 4 did not have this issue, but it was too small on me.) I would rent the dress again in a size 6 in hopes of getting one with a normal skirt.

Gorgeous fabric, funny fit on me.
The fabric is beautiful-- multi-colored and textured, undulating pattern, a hint of sparkle. I rented this the first time in a size 40 (US 4), my usual size, and unfortunately on me the shape didn't work at all: it was much too wide and pear-shaped below the bust, and small and not flattering in the bustling. I tried it a second time in size 38 (US 2) and the body fits much better, but the bust is still very tight. It squishes the breasts flat but also because the neckline is low, makes for a lot of bosom peaking out, a little odd. The fabric is so gorgeous though I am going to wear it, I just wish the cut and shape were a little better for my body.

Elegant silhouette, pretty and unusual color, but issue with the hem.
It's a very pretty dress with a lovely, fitted silhouette and beautiful pale slate blue lace over a cream-colored lining. The material has no stretch and it was a little tight and not super comfortable to move in, but it was pretty enough to be worth it. The back is open and the top is tight, so I chose to wore it without a bra (there's also enough body in the built-in cups that this was fine). I found that the underslip wrinkled readily and the creases showed through the lace which wasn't great. And the main issue, as other reviewers have mentioned, was that for some reason the slip stuck out by a couple of inches and I had to hold it up with fashion tape and safety pins, but this messed up the hemline a bit because the slip was tacked to the outer dress on the sides so it rode up. If RTR's seamstresses fix this, it would be a stunning, super, if not super comfortable dress.

Great fit, eye-catching print, twirly skirt (but not too girly), super comfortable.
Beautiful fit on the dress-- slender, fitted waist and bodice, full but not "foofy" skirt. Loved having pockets. Wore a racerback bra so the straps wouldn't show, but a regular bra would work too, with a little tucking of the straps. The area just below the waist was a little snug, but I wore the size 2 instead of the size 4 because I have a short torso and the 2 was just the right length. Got many compliments and would definitely rent this dress again.

Great print, sexy peek-a-boo sides, slender sheath beneath a revealing bust.
The size 4 was too large for me and as this was my backup dress, I didn't have a smaller size to try. I'd rent this again in a size 2 in hopes that would fit, because the print was terrific-- artistic and eye-catching but not too showy. The body of the dress was a little long (I'm petite in stature) and didn't hug my curves enough to look right. Seemed well made and like it would stand out at a daytime party.

Beautiful and distinctive color, lovely simple lines, just a bit long for a petite frame.
The color of the dress is wonderful-- a very flattering fuchsia that stands out without screaming for attention. Curve-hugging simple lines in front and an attractive low back with gathered seams/pleats fanning out down the skirt in back. The dress was pretty long on me even in shoes with a platform and heel, and I was worried about tripping on the front of the hem and had to hold the dress up when I walked, but I'm only 5'2". I wish it came in a "petite" length as a couple of RTR gowns I've rented in the past do.

In the photos (and many others' reviews) this dress looked fabulous-- beautiful print, unusual design. On me, it felt and looked like something Morticia Adamas might wear. On a bad day. The black tulle was much more overpowering than in the pictures, and crinkled and bunched up in most unflattering ways. I tried to make it work but it was just too off. Fortunately, my backup dress was great.
