Gorgeous, but a little tired
This dress is beautiful- the material is a gorgeous shiny Jaquard and it's clearly made to be a quality item. I thought it was true to size- The straps were a little long compared to most other dresses but I'm tall and have a long torso, and I thought it fit nicely. It appears that some renters should have gone a size up- the zipper looks like it's pulling away from the fabric.

comfortable and bright!
It's HOT pink- you will be the center of attention- but it's cute and otherwise pretty modest. Please ignore my spray tan in the pic. The ruffles aren't straight across at the bottom- they sort of curve up at the sides, as you can see in the stock photo. If you're hourglass shaped, like me, I found that the 10 fit in the hips and bust but was far too baggy in the waist- I wore extra spanx to wear the 8 which fit in the waist, but was snug across my hips.

comfortable, stretchy, and long!
It's a thick stretchy ponte- almost like a yoga pant material. It's long- I'm 5'9 and it was to my kneecaps, which isnt always the case with fit and flare dresses-- I really appreciate the long waist on this one. I dressed this up with nude heels and jewelry, but you could also wear it for a more casual occasion.

Classy and fabulous
It's definitely body-con-- it's snug all the way to your knees, not like a work sheath usually would be. The neckline, snug fit, and front slit make it much sexier than it appears- with simple black heels and a blue wrap, I felt glamorous and timeless at a fancy dinner. You can wear a regular bra- the cut of the neckline enhances any cleavage you've got, without being over the top. I'm 5'9 155, and the 8 (my regular size) was perfect.

Gorgeous color, lightweight and cool, very comfortable
I wore this to a country club wedding in a beach town, summer 2015 - it was 100+ degrees outisde and we were in and out of the air conditioning- this was perfect. The length, as other reviewers have mentioned, is above the knee-- not midi-length as the model pic shows. The lace is a light cottony lace, and the lining is a lightweight rayon- perfect for the summer. I did think the dress had already been stretched out a little bit by previous wearers. The lining isn't attached to the outer layer of the dress, but I didnt notice it riding up a lot. There's a pretty clear empire waist right under the bust, and the neckline is as high and narrow as the model pic shows. I did think the slip layer was really low on the bustline- I tried wearing a sticky bra at first and it kept poking up to the transparent lace- fortunately the dress has boning that makes it easy to not wear a bra. The black straps started right at the top of my shoulders, and they're a nice cottony/grograin- not stretchy. Getting in and out of the dress is a challenge- my hair was in loose waves so it was ok that they got mussed but I imagine it would be really tough with an updo. Overall, I think the color was beautiful and it was a perfect dress for the occasion- but it wasnt my favorite ever-- the shape just emphasized my pear shape.

Gorgeous in person, great color, shape doesnt photograph well
I rented this for a friends wedding after trying it on in the georgetown store. It's a little short, but mostly pretty modest, although you'll stand out in the rose gold sequins. I ended up wearing the size 8 dress with the size 10 liner, as the liner pulled across my hips a little. There are so many sequins on it that even though I dropped a few when I put it on and took it off (and probably a few on the dance floor), it wasnt noticeable on the dress. I also wasnt bothered by the scratchiness at all. I loved how it looked in person and how easily I could dance in it- and got a lot of compliments that night, but I dont love how it photographed-- the blousiness of the top makes me look heavier in pictures than I really am.

Gorgeous, cottony
I didn't wear this dress but wish I'd had two events this weekend so that I could have! It's a beautiful blush color and a stiff cottony material. The 10 fit me perfectly and I could have worn a regular strapless bra. It's a tiny bit narrowly cut across the front in the chest- my armpit fat peeked out more than I would have liked. The cutouts look gorgeous and are very flattering, and I loved the longer length.

excellent quality!
This dress is gorgeous and the v neck was flattering. I'm a 6-8 in my waist and a 10 in my hips, and debated between a 8 and 10 but wore the 8. The navy material is stretchy and structured but not thick-- it made it easy for me not to wear a bra. I did wear spanx to smooth everything out, but had to be careful about the high waist on the spanx peeking out through the sheer back. I wish the back was sheerer than it actually is! It almost just looks like a pattern. The cutouts also aren't super noticeable from the front, as it's more a navy blue than it is cobalt. I wore black shoes which worked perfectly. The skirt was tight on me but if I'd sized up, the top would have been too big. It did ride up quite a bit while I was walking and dancing. I'm a pro member and rent often- the RTR process is always easy!

Comfortable and flattering!
Unfortunately I didnt get any pictures of me wearing it the day I did- but this is the picture from the dressing room at the georgetown store. I'm tall and long waisted, and this one fit nicely. I found that the body of the dress fit slightly wide compared to the arm holes, but the arm holes weren't so tight that they were uncomfortable. The lining is cotton and the top is a light lace, so it's a very light dress- perfect for a hot summer day in DC! It wasn't very see through at all and you should be okay in most undies- I wore nude seamless ones just in case.

Dress ran small, not in great shape
I have a small waist with big shoulders and hips- and this ran very small, even at the waist.. In addition, the white was dingy and worn, and the seam at the crop edge of the top was wrinkly- it looked like it needed a good starchy iron. The metallic plaid in the skirt was beautiful, and would have photographed nicely, but I couldnt get over the gray top piece. RTR kindly let me try on a bunch in the georgetown store and I wore a different dress to the event.

not a dress for dancing!
This is a beautiful dress- but unfortunately it just wasnt flattering on me. The arm holes on the cap sleeves were tiny, so it looked like it was squeezing on my arm fat, and while it fit in the shoulders, bust, and waist, the hips were just too small. It's also a more cotton-y lace- which is gorgeous, but not as formal as I expected. Even if you're familiar with Lilly sizing, size up in this one!

timeless, appropriate, and adorable!
I'm usually a 6 in Lilly dresses- but I ordered the 6 and the 8 just to be sure. I wore the 6 because it fit well in the shoulders and across my hips, but it doesnt have much "curve' to the waist- it was baggy around my stomach. The lace was in A- condition- there were a few snags but nothing noticeable. This dress was perfect for a family church wedding- I'm tall and wore heels, and still felt it was long enough. I loved that it's chic for now, but timeless enough too. I got many compliments on the bright color, and the renting process was seamless!
