It was a snug fit and hugged all my curves. It hit me right above the knee. At times the dress would bunch around my mid section and would have fit better if I had a longer torso. The cut outs were fun and not too scandalous. The dress is very pale and does get mistaken as white in some light. Overall I felt very strong and classy in this dress. 

Wore to a wedding, color might have been to light for such an event but standing next to the brides white dress the color looked much darker in comparison. Runs true to size and a good length. 

It was definitely a bit tight. Glad I ordered two sizes. Need to wear a strapless bra. I wore spanks, it was a must. Otherwise, thong lines would have been quite visible. I received a ton of complements on the dress. Would definitely wear it again. Had a great time. I could walk without feeling like I would fall. 

I liked the dress but it is very tight and form fitting.  The dress pulled a bit in the front which I really didn't like and it rides up when you walk.  I ordered a size 4 and 6.  Both sizes were tight and pulled in the front, the only difference was the size 6 was looser in the top and back.  I ended up wearing the size 4.  I did get a lot of compliments though! 

Luckily, I ended up getting the back up size. I typically wear a 4, but the tightness of the dress (and DD cup size) was not allowing the 4 to slip on. However, people loved the dress and it was perfect for a classy, yet sexy dress for a young wedding. 

Wore this to a gala event. The fit was great and the cut outs were fun and flattering. Would rent again.

I rented this dress for my engagement photos, since I knew I love the way these Elizabeth and James style dresses fit. They really do look/feel best when they hug your curves. I'll admit the cut outs gave me a bit of pause, but ended up looking understated from the front, while adding a slight edge to the dress from the back. I know there have been previous questions on here about whether this would be appropriate to wear as a wedding guest. My opinion: definitely not. While it is a blush color, it is much lighter in person, and you can tell it nearly looks white in photos.

This is probably the most flattering dress I have ever worn. Forget the crazy face in the photo; it was one of the only photos I had of the dress from the front. I wore this dress for my bachelorette party and felt comfortable, sexy and classy. It also helped that the dress photographs white. I'm not sure anyone even noticed it was blush. It also made me look a lot more in shape than I am, I feel like it smoothed over my tummy and thighs perfectly. I wish I could wear it again! I got a lot of compliments :) Highly recommend it. 

I absolutely loved this dress! Unfortunately it came with a small tear, I let RTR know and they couldn't have been nicer about it.  I wore a size 2 which is my normal size.  I ordered the 4 as well based on other reviews, but I was swimming in it.  I feel like it hit in all the right places.  I ended up using the Braza stickers for my boobs, if you have a smaller chest you might not need anything, but they did the trick and worked perfectly for me!  I would not recommend this dress to someone who is body conscious, as it is very tight and a very light color.  But if you're comfortable with yourself and you've got it, flaunt it!  One of the things I loved about this dress before I rented it was that it looked great on everyone who posted a picture for their review.  Despite the tightness, I don't feel it was overly sexy, I think that overall it was a very elegant dress.  Paired with nude heels and a gold necklace it was perfect!  I would definitely rent it again! 

Definitely size up on this one if you have curves. I typically wear a 2 in most dresses, but for this a 4 was way too tight. The 6 was sold out so I couldn't get it as a back-up size. You might also want to avoid if you have a butt/thighs. I could barely bend over or sit in this dress, I was worried it might bust at the seams! Also maybe reconsider if you don't have a perfectly flat stomach as this dress shows everything in that area. 

I wish I could have kept this dress. While it runs a bit small, the fit is amazing and it's incredibly flattering. Like other reviewers have mentioned, the color is very light. I wore it to officiate my brother's wedding, but they requested us to be dressed in very light shades. In person it's more of a cream color, and depending on the lighting, at times it looked like pink. Overall you can't go wrong with this dress!

The fabric was extremely nice and thick so it did not cling to any body part. The extra size I ordered was not sent to me, so luckily the 4 fit perfectly. Would definitely recommend this dress!

Fit was perfect. A little tight and somewhat tough to sit in. I would recommend a size up as a backup size. Looked great on though! It is a very light pink and could be mistaken as white so maybe not ideal for weddings. 

I have a unusual body type for my age to say the least, being 17 with a very large bust & a small waist makes it difficult for me to find dresses but the dress really held me in well, i didn't find it necessary to wear a bra & it really brought out my curves. Because the color is very light, you might want to skip the pasta during dinner if you're messy like me. Great dress & great website! 

First RTR, ran very small. Had to wear spanx underneath to help it fit better and feel more comfortable. Didn't have to wear a bra because of the tightness, I'm a 34dd so it was very tight in that area but it was nice not to have to worry about straps showing or the uncomfortable feeling of a strapless bra. Loved how it hit right above the knee for this formal event and I overall loved the dress and how it looked on. Didn't want to send it back! Would definitely recommend this.

Order one size up because this dress runs small. I'm normally a 2-4 and I wore the 6. I'm not very curvy, but the 4 was too tight in my thighs and butt. That being said, I LOVED this dress! The fabric felt amazing and I got numerous compliments on the fit and the color. 

This dress is super sexy without showing too much skin. The cutouts are just the right size and placement! I did end up wearing my normal dress size but it fits like a glove so I recommend ordering your normal size and the next size up as a back up. I wore it to a cocktail party and it was perfect -- I would love to own this dress. Can't wait to try more #ElizabethandJames dresses for upcoming events!

Rented this for a Kentucky derby party. It was perfect, it fit like a glove.  I am typically a size four and I ended up wearing the four.  It was a little snug but the six was too baggy.  The color is almost more cream the pink.  I would definitely recommend this dress and this designer.

Tons of compliments. Perfect fit. Loved it

The fit is not the best for an hourglass figure. The 6 fit perfectly in my top, slightly tight in my hips, but was way baggy in my waist. I was able to pull it off because of the cut-outs but I ideally would have loved to have the waist altered to fit me a bit better. Having it baggy in my mid back and around the cut outs took away from the overall 'look' of the dress. I also noticed that throughout the shower the material did stretch quite a bit, by the end of my shower the dress was roomier in the hips and started to bunch up easily. 

This dress was perfect for my bridal event.  It photographed white, as you tell from most of the reviews.  It was really flattering, although it did run small. I usually wear 2 or 4; I wore a 6 in this dress but an 8 might have been a tiny bit more comfortable.

The dress was a size 6, but definitely a small size 6. Some stretch but I would say if you have a bit of tummy bulge either wear spanx or go to an 8. Lucky for me I had lost some of my "tummy" from recovering from oral surgery and being on a soft food diet. Overall a great dress. Sexy and not too short and I received a lot of compliments the whole night. 

The quality was amazing. The fabric has a spandex quality so everything was smooth. I'm a 34DD and went bra-less. The dress fit like a glove! Perfect 1st RTR experience. Highly recommend this dress for a sexy date night or a wedding. The color is "blush" and paired perfectly with nude heels and an ivory statement necklace. I received compliments all night!

The dress is true to size and fit me like a glove. This being said, because it's so tight you either have to suck in your stomach or wear something under that will suck it in for you. If you're short like me the length is a little long but that worked for this event. 

After reading the reviews I knew I was going to be the size 4... So I didn't choose an alternate size. It fit PERFECT! The material is pretty thick and gave me a smooth fit, so I didn't need any spanx. I wore it to the Florida Derby which is a day time horse race. It was a classy dress and the length was perfect for the occasion. Loved! 

I rented this dress for my 27th birthday. This is an extremely form fitting dress!!! I wish it would have came in a size 12 because the extra give would have been nice. The darker pink dress is offered in a 12. Hit right above the knee. The material is a little thicker. I wore a strapless bra and spanx. 

This is a fantastic dress!  It hugs your body but is not inappropriately sexy.  I was nervous about the side cut-outs but they are discrete and I felt comfortable wearing this dress around my parents.  I received so many compliments on this dress!!!  I highly recommend this dress and this designer.

Love the length and overall fit- a little tight in the butt area though. I paired it with larger earrings and a nude shoe. Perfect for a fun night out! 

(Don't mind the unmade bed) A lot of people said this dress runs small. I found that the size I normally wear fit perfectly.  Loved that it hugged every curve but if you prefer it to be a bit looser, I would go a size up.  I wore this just for a low key night in Vegas but I'm sure you could also wear it to a formal affair as this dress is sophisticated yet sexy.  The material is stretchy and comfortable.  I would definitely rent this dress again. 

I wore this to my bachelorette party. I felt like the dress fit me just right. It was fitted, yet not too sung. I wore my strapless bra but didn't feel like I had to pull it up all night because the dress held it in place. The dress hits just above the knee (I am 5'4"). The not too short length, complimented the sexy cutouts perfectly. I felt so good in this dress, definitely will rent Elizabeth and James again, if not buy. Loved the dress and highly recommend.

The fit of this dress was prefect!! It hugged my body in the right places. I thought I'd feel uncomfortable since it had cut outs but it wasn't too much. The knee length made up for it. Loved the color. Although it isn't the shade that appears on the photo it definitely is a soft pink, almost white. I loved that it didn't have that zipper that all the RTR dress have. Wish I owned the dress. 

Loved the style of this dress. However, since I am short-waisted, the middle section did bunch up on me. The top of the dress fit a tad bit tight, and the skirt portion fit a bit loose. Overall, not a good fit for me in particular, however the material and cut of the dress is gorgeous! 

I loved how this dress hugs your body but still holds form. I wish the size 2 was available because the 0 was a bit snug and was cutting into my armholes, however I normally wear a size 2. The length was perfect the cut is sexy and feminine with an edge. I would definitely rent this one again! 

This dress was a huge hit at my NYE party! I usually wear a 4, but the 4 was too snug around my thighs. The 6 fit my lower half perfectly but was a little loose on top. For reference: I have a bigger booty and a 34A chest.

I wish I would have gotten an 8. I usually wear a size 4. I was mildly uncomfortable in this dress. It was worn for NYE and would not be appropriate for a wedding. 

In most stores, I wear a size 6 dress and I had to wear a 10! The 8 fit, as well, but I felt the 10 was more flattering. The fabric is super high quality and because it's so thick, it's slimming. I have a short torso and medium hips (not too curvy but definitely not straight up and down), so the cutouts weren't hitting at a super flattering place for me in the back with the size 10 (better in the 8, because I'm a little short), but I wore it anyway because I paired the dress with a cardigan so it covered up the back. This is a really versatile piece that could go from day to night. Seems like it would fit a variety of body types, as well.

I rented this dress for a New Years house party and was really looking forward to dressing up for the occasion.  I was 2 months postpartum and loved the way the dress hugged all my curves and made me feel voluptuous in the best sense.  I felt that the dress ran a bit on the small side and was especially snug just above the side cutouts.  The fabric was very thick and held everything in place nicely.  Spanx would have worked some wonders but, alas, time had run out and I was never able to make the purchase.  Either way, this dress made me feel absolutely beautiful and thought it was the perfect way to ring in the new year.

The cut outs on the dress are really flattering and I loved how the dress is form fitting. Got so many compliments on the dress!! Perfect combination between hip, modern, and elegant. Color is gorgeous! Length was perfect! Highly recommend!

I received so many compliments on this dress! I ordered a size 6 and 8; the 6 was a bit too small, so I decided to wear the 8. The material is thick, so I really sucked everything in. Very classy, but the cutouts and tight fit made is sassy as well. Perfect for my law school's fall ball. 

Definitely a great dress for someone with curves.  Fits in all the right places.
