I have a unusual body type for my age to say the least, being 17 with a very large bust & a small waist makes it difficult for me to find dresses but the dress really held me in well, i didn't find it necessary to wear a bra & it really brought out my curves. Because the color is very light, you might want to skip the pasta during dinner if you're messy like me. Great dress & great website!

Order one size up because this dress runs small. I'm normally a 2-4 and I wore the 6. I'm not very curvy, but the 4 was too tight in my thighs and butt. That being said, I LOVED this dress! The fabric felt amazing and I got numerous compliments on the fit and the color.

This dress is super sexy without showing too much skin. The cutouts are just the right size and placement! I did end up wearing my normal dress size but it fits like a glove so I recommend ordering your normal size and the next size up as a back up. Rented this for a Kentucky derby party. It was perfect, it fit like a glove. I am typically a size four and I ended up wearing the four. It was a little snug but the six was too baggy. The color is almost more cream the pink. I would definitely recommend this dress and this designer.

This dress was perfect for my bridal event. It photographed white, as you tell from most of the reviews. It was really flattering, although it did run small. I usually wear 2 or 4; I wore a 6 in this dress but an 8 might have been a tiny bit more comfortable.

The dress is true to size and fit me like a glove. This being said, because it's so tight you either have to suck in your stomach or wear something under that will suck it in for you. If you're short like me the length is a little long but that worked for this event.

After reading the reviews I knew I was going to be the size 4... So I didn't choose an alternate size. It fit PERFECT! The material is pretty thick and gave me a smooth fit, so I didn't need any spanx. I wore it to the Florida Derby which is a day time horse race. It was a classy dress and the length was perfect for the occasion. Loved!

This is a fantastic dress! It hugs your body but is not inappropriately sexy. I was nervous about the side cut-outs but they are discrete and I felt comfortable wearing this dress around my parents. I received so many compliments on this dress!!! I highly recommend this dress and this designer.

(Don't mind the unmade bed) A lot of people said this dress runs small. I found that the size I normally wear fit perfectly. Loved that it hugged every curve but if you prefer it to be a bit looser, I would go a size up. I wore this just for a low key night in Vegas but I'm sure you could also wear it to a formal affair as this dress is sophisticated yet sexy. The material is stretchy and comfortable. I would definitely rent this dress again.

I wore this to my bachelorette party. I felt like the dress fit me just right. It was fitted, yet not too sung. I wore my strapless bra but didn't feel like I had to pull it up all night because the dress held it in place. The dress hits just above the knee (I am 5'4"). The not too short length, complimented the sexy cutouts perfectly. I felt so good in this dress, definitely will rent Elizabeth and James again, if not buy. Loved the dress and highly recommend.

The fit of this dress was prefect!! It hugged my body in the right places. I thought I'd feel uncomfortable since it had cut outs but it wasn't too much. The knee length made up for it. Loved the color. Although it isn't the shade that appears on the photo it definitely is a soft pink, almost white. I loved that it didn't have that zipper that all the RTR dress have. Wish I owned the dress.

In most stores, I wear a size 6 dress and I had to wear a 10! The 8 fit, as well, but I felt the 10 was more flattering. The fabric is super high quality and because it's so thick, it's slimming. I have a short torso and medium hips (not too curvy but definitely not straight up and down), so the cutouts weren't hitting at a super flattering place for me in the back with the size 10 (better in the 8, because I'm a little short), but I wore it anyway because I paired the dress with a cardigan so it covered up the back. This is a really versatile piece that could go from day to night. Seems like it would fit a variety of body types, as well.

This was not my first choice dress I received it because the dress I wanted to wear was to damaged to be rented out. However, I loved this dress. I was flawless and I loved it! Things you should know about it. This is my second Elizabeth and James dress and they do run extremely small compared to other RTR brands so size up! I wore and 8 and I almost always wear a 4 or 6. This dress fit me perfectly. It showed off my curves and still looked classy. The cutouts are trendy but can be worn with nude underwear and a strapless bra. This dress is perfection! The only thing I would be aware of is that it is a very very pale pink almost cream so if its a super traditional wedding I would avoid it! I cannot say enough good things about this dress. I love Elizabeth and James!

The material is stretchy but the cut runs small and the dress is fitted. It is a very light blush colored pink so you need nude undergarmets. I take pride in my fit body and love my rear end, so this dress was perfect for showing it off. It is long enough to be classy, but the cut outs and the body hugging fit make it sexy.

Loved this dress!! It definitely runs small. I am typically a size 8, and wore a 10 comfortably. Was panicked about fit at the last minute, and ordered an 8 from a different website to have on hand just in case the 10 was too big (RTR did not have an 8 to send me). Both the 8 and 10 fit, and I could barely tell a difference in size. In the end, the 10 was just a little more flattering around the armpit area :) Was perfect for the wedding and danced without issue all night! The dress has a slight stretch that made moving around easy. Didn't wear any type of bra, which worked out just fine.

I immediately fell in love with the color (blush, I've seen other colors on RTR) and "top" cut of the dress -- it definitely accentuates your shoulders / toned arms. The "side" cuts added a little extra sass. The fabric was super comfortable / movable -- especially for an outdoor / summer wedding. Works well for us pear shaped ladies -- as its flattering to your lower half. I ordered the 6 (usual) and 8 (one size up). I ended up wearing the 8 -- as the 6 was too tight around my hips! I also rented jewelry to complete the look!

I wore this for an awards night during my husband's work's reward trip in Cancun. It was perfect! Everyone said to size up, and I'm glad I did. I'm usually a 2/4 in dresses so I thought by ordering a 4 and a 6, this was going to come back and bite me. I could have worn the 4, but the 6 was much more comfortable. Even though the back is open, you can still wear a bra with it. But like many other reviews have said, you may not need to. The style of the dress was perfect for this event. It's very conservative from the front, but the back adds that "wow" factor. I got compliments all night. This was my first rental, but definitely not my last!

Wore this for an upscale dinner date with my husband and friends. I typically wear a 0, but only the 2 was available which fit perfectly. Everyone complimented the dress, it looks expensive and really classy. One of my guy friends said it was a "power dress" lol. It is definitely chic enough to rent again for a wedding or more formal event. My husband was looking wear to buy it online when I had to send it back. Rent this one, it's awesome.

First RTR, ran very small. Had to wear spanx underneath to help it fit better and feel more comfortable. Didn't have to wear a bra because of the tightness, I'm a 34dd so it was very tight in that area but it was nice not to have to worry about straps showing or the uncomfortable feeling of a strapless bra. The fit is not the best for an hourglass figure. The 6 fit perfectly in my top, slightly tight in my hips, but was way baggy in my waist. I was able to pull it off because of the cut-outs but I ideally would have loved to have the waist altered to fit me a bit better. Having it baggy in my mid back and around the cut outs took away from the overall 'look' of the dress. I also noticed that throughout the shower the material did stretch quite a bit, by the end of my shower the dress was roomier in the hips and started to bunch up easily.

The dress was a size 6, but definitely a small size 6. Some stretch but I would say if you have a bit of tummy bulge either wear spanx or go to an 8. Lucky for me I had lost some of my "tummy" from recovering from oral surgery and being on a soft food diet. Overall a great dress. Sexy and not too short and I received a lot of compliments the whole night.

I rented this dress for my 27th birthday. This is an extremely form fitting dress!!! I wish it would have came in a size 12 because the extra give would have been nice. The darker pink dress is offered in a 12. Hit right above the knee. The material is a little thicker. I wore a strapless bra and spanx.

Loved the style of this dress. However, since I am short-waisted, the middle section did bunch up on me. The top of the dress fit a tad bit tight, and the skirt portion fit a bit loose. Overall, not a good fit for me in particular, however the material and cut of the dress is gorgeous!

I rented this dress for a New Years house party and was really looking forward to dressing up for the occasion. I was 2 months postpartum and loved the way the dress hugged all my curves and made me feel voluptuous in the best sense. I felt that the dress ran a bit on the small side and was especially snug just above the side cutouts. The fabric was very thick and held everything in place nicely. Spanx would have worked some wonders but, alas, time had run out and I was never able to make the purchase. Either way, this dress made me feel absolutely beautiful and thought it was the perfect way to ring in the new year.
