I was very surprised when I tried this dress on. I have larger hips and try to rent a-line dresses for comfort. Even thou this is an a-line dress, it is still quite tight in the hips. The other thing that surprised me was how short the lining in the dress is. You can see in my picture how short it was. I guess this could have been fixed with a slip or something... Luckily, I had a backup dress and ended up wearing that instead. Oh, and it runs quite small. I usually wear a 2 or 4 and I believe these pictures were taken in the sz 6 dress. It's a really fun style - so if you can pull it off, I say go for it! But make sure you size up & get an off white slip or skirt to wear under.

The dress fit like a glove. I consider myself to be "hippy" and didn't experience any issues with this dress. (I am about 34-28-37 & 135lbs 5'6" in this photo thanks to all the holiday cookies ;) ). This dress was my backup for a holiday party and I ended up wearing my first choice to the event. I wore this the next day to church and received lots of compliments. I love the color and the sleeves are very flattering. (Especially if you are self conscious about your arms). I would recommend this dress for pretty much any event! Loved the dress! I rented this for a private holiday party/fundraiser. I ended up wearing a red belt and gold jewelry. I am about 5lbs heavier than usual due to the holiday season so I sized up and I'm glad I did. The 6 fit perfect. Loved this dress! It was extremely form fitting, but in a classy, not trashy way. I wore this on Valentine's Day to a restaurant with my husband, and then the next night to attend a fashion show/fund raiser. I felt extremely sexy, and the color attracted a lot of smiles from others. This dress is a bit shorter than I typically wear, but it really compliments the legs! I'm also very hippy (32-27-36) and as others have mentioned, I think this dress was meant for the straight and narrow body type with a large bust. RTR suggested I size up, and I'm glad I did, even though I ended up wearing the size 4, not the size 6. I do want to warn others, that even though this dress has very thick material, you can still see underwear lines. This includes lace patterns on undergarments and spanks - and even the seams of pantyhose! Plan accordingly, and you will be fine. This was a beautiful, well made dress. I liked the style. I received many compliments. I have to admit I was a bit uncomfortable in this dress for three reasons, which is why I rated it 4 of 5 starts. Please note, these were all personal issues that had nothing to do with the dress itself. First, the length was a bit shorter than I typically like. Second, the hip area was a bit tight for me (I have a curvy figure, and my hips are the widest part of my body). Due to these two issues, it felt like the dress was riding up a bit, I had to constantly pull it down. Third, the feathers were delicate, and I felt like I was shedding the whole night (which others have mentioned). With all that said, I'm glad I rented the dress, and had a fabulous time. I've rented dresses from RTR several times, and the service is always unbeatable! Thank you RTR for making me feel like a star once again!

WOW!!!! What a B E A U T I F U L dress!!! I was a little nervous about renting this dress because I'm not usually into "flowy" dresses, but this dress has changed my mind. I loved this dress for so many reasons. The fabric of the dress is so soft, I felt like I was wearing my pjs! I loved the fact that it was a long strapless dress, but still felt very secure on my body due to the tight bust line (which was secure, but not uncomfortable) and it wasn't heavy at all. I wore this dress to a black tie gala event. I had also rented a long black dress as a back up, but decided on this one because it was such a sunny day outside and I wanted my dress to match. I'm so thankful I wore this dress. I received so many compliments though out the evening on the color. And I was so comfortable the entire time! My only regret was that I didn't get more pictures in it! RTR is fantastic to work with! They always make me feel like a star and deliver superior service and quality. Thank you RTR!!!!

I loved this dress. I loved the fit and quality material of this dress. The R length was perfect for my 5'5" height. It also fit me well in the bust. I loved this dress, however I did not end up wearing it to my event. I loved the classic look this dress provided, and it would have looked stunning at the black tie event that we went to. The only reason I did not go with this dress is because the weather was so nice on the day of the event, I decided to go with a more colorful dress to match. (Also a RTR dress). I loved this dress! This was the 8th dress style I've rented from RTR and I loved it! It was my first experience shipping to a hotel, and the process was hassle free. The service and quality of RTR is unbeatable. I was so sad that it rained the day that I was planning to wear this dress! I did get the opportunity to try it on. The dress fits like your typical halter dress. It ran true to size or maybe just a little big, which is common for this designer. It came a bit wrinkled due to the shipping process, but I just hung it in the bathroom while I showered, and it was good to go after a few minutes. The material of this dress is silky, so it can be dressed up or down depending on your event. It would be perfect for a wedding, bachelorette party, or date night. The length was conservative and the style is fun.

This dress is so BEAUTIFUL! I loved the lace pattern and the feminine silhouette the dress creates. The dress runs small in the hips, and large in the bust. I rented both sizes 4 and 6 for my husbands work dinner/trip to L.A. The 4 fit better in the bust (for me a 32 C) and the size 6 fit better in the hips (for me 36"). I describe myself as curvy and athletic. This dress was a challenge for me because it is opposite my figure, but it still worked. It has a little stretch to it, so with the help of my spanx, I was able to squeeze into the 4. It also has very thick fabric and is not see through at all, which can be a challenge with white. I pared it with nude shoes and gold and pearl necklace and earrings. This was the 7th dress style I've rented from RTR and I will be back. I loved this dress for so many reasons. It is so comfortable! The fit is amazing, and the color really complimented my green eyes and brown hair. It was the perfect dress to wear to my husband's work party/vacation in L.A. I ended up wearing my brown wedge sandals, but it also looked nice with my nude heels. I had many compliments the entire night, as well as the next day at breakfast. The dress runs a bit large, so I would size down, unless you are larger chested. This dress is also a bit stretchy. I would also say this is a great dress if you have a baby bump you are trying to hide (although I am not expecting, this would have been perfect for months 4-7). Loved this dress so much!!! I did end up using an iron on low, as the dress was a bit wrinkled from the shipping process (and being brand spankin new with tags still on!) The dress I ended up wearing was quite a bit worn. The beading was scratched and faded, the stitching by the beading had discolored (possibly from being dry cleaned too much), and some of the stitching on the beadwork was hanging out. With that said, this was still a great dress! I contacted RTR about the condition of the dress, and they offered to send a replacement. I really loved the fit of the dress, and knew that it was going to be dark in the venue of our event, so I ended up not taking the replacement dress. I appreciated how accommodating RTR was willing to be. I do hope they take the particular dress I wore out of circulation because it is in pretty rough shape. I ended up getting a lot of compliments all night long. The fit of the dress is wonderful, and even after having two kids, it is figure flattering.

I rented this dress for my 10-year high school reunion and it was a show stopper! Absolutely amazing! I have dresses in my closet ranging from size 0 – 6 and wore a size 2 for this event (although in the picture I’m wearing the size 4). I would say this dress runs fairly true to size, maybe a bit large. The bust is tight, but it helps the dress feel secure and wasn’t a problem for me. I received compliments all night long. The fabric is a little stretchy and so comfortable! Not to mention beautifully colored and patterned! I paired this dress with some antique gold jewelry and brown open-toe shoes. White or nude shoes would have also looked fantastic. This was my first rent the runway experience and I will be back! Thank you rent the run way for making me feel like a star!

The Cut 25 Neon Lace Party Dress is such a beautiful color especially on tan skin and dark hair. I loved the way it made my green eyes pop! This dress is also so comfortable! It’s like wearing pajamas! This would be a great dress to wear if you’re not sure how dressed up to be. You can wear fancy jewelry to make it look very formal, or flip flops for a more casual look. The lace was very high quality and the jersey material under is so soft. The size 2 fit me the best, although I’m usually a size 4, so I would say this dress runs large. The back was also very cute!
