I got this dress as a safe NYE option. The other dress I selected I knew would either look amazing or be a disaster on my small frame - turned out it was amazing. Anyway, this is a very safe dress. It's cute, comfortable, fits as expected (true to size), and would be flattering to lots of bodies. I liked it but was looking for something more interesting. The neckline was plunging, but on a smallish chest (34B) it was by know means too showy. I would consider renting it for another occasion. Not overly tight in the waste line or the capsleeves/shoulders either.

I love love LOVED this dress. One of my all time favorite rentals. I was nervous about the assymetrical length because I am short (5'2'') but the dress didn't make me look stumpy at all. The dress goes on as a wrap dress, and was a little loose in the chest, so I was able to hide a safety pin and secure it more in the chest area while still leaving a plunging neckline. Double sided tape would also work. I am bigger around the waste/rib cage and usually wear a 6, sometimes a 4, but the Small fit and wasn't too tight in this area, which is often my trouble spot. I may suggest sizing down as your backup, as I would ordinarily wear a Medium. Overall it was super comfortable, and I paired it with strapped black heels, though I would have liked to wear it with black heels with a single simple strap if I had them. Gold would have worked too. The color of the dress is actually copper and black, and depending on how the light hits you don't notice the copper color. So that's why some of the pictures in the reviews look different. Anyway, I felt this dress was sophisticated, sexy and different instead of your average sparkle number. Loved it!

Loved this! Went with the medium because there was a significant size difference in the arm/neck hole between the Medium and Small, and as a muscular girl I was way more comfortable in the medium. I wore it to a Foo Fighters Concert at MSG. Great color, very flattering and comfortable, even in the summer heat. The wrist is very fitted so be prepared for a snug fit there. Wish I owned this top.

My only regret is I forgot to get a picture from the back! Wow, this dress is classy and glamorous. It was a head turner! I am 5'2" and with big high heels I didn't have any issues stepping on the dress. I usually wear no bigger than a 6, but I know I struggle with dresses with fitted bands at the waist because I am wide at my rib cage and not very curvy. I fit into the 6 but it was tight. Instead I went with the 8 and was so comfortable. I had to get a padded sticky backless bra though because the 8 was too big in the chest, and I needed something to fill it out. Also didn't have any problems with the sequins rubbing my arms. Great look, I would highly recommend and suggest going a size up for your back up.

I almost loved this dress. The back looked stunning, particularly if you have an athletic build and athletic shoulders. HOWEVER.... the gold sequins forms the perfect triangle right over your tummy. So if you're feeling bloated or if your stomach is your most self-conscious body part, I would be cautious. It probably looked better than it did in my mind, but I felt like the dress was highlighting my tummy in an unflattering way. I'm definitely not a dainty girl. I'm in good shape, a runner and very strong and body confident; but, this I still felt this way. I often have to size up to a 6 because I have muscular shoulders and am broad in my shoulder area. Since this dress didn't zip up that high, this was not a problem and I could easily wear the 4. The back looked stunning though!

This dress probably runs half a size large. I put on a little weight and have been wearing size 6, but I was actually able to fit into the 4 just fine. The size difference more so seems to be in the strap length. The size 4 straps were still a bit too long. If you're handy, you can pin them. I just relied on fashion tape. I am also very muscular across the back and ribs, and often have trouble zipping dresses but this fit great. It definitely requires fashion tape. I used the brand from David's Bridal and my dress wasn't budging an inch! I felt confident and fabulous. The dress is very flattering, and I would highly recommend it. Also, I didn't find it too long despite being 5'2". I wore about 3" heels. I would definitely rent this again - I loved it.

I rented this for my mom's 70th birthday dinner and it just didnt work out. It was almost gorgeous but just didnt work. I am 5'2" and 135 - 140 lbs. i am muscular with broad shoulder and back (particularly in the ribs). I could not zip the small at all and the medium was still uncomfortably tight. Additionally, the size difference from the small to medium in the arms and shoulders - even with a muscular frame - was just overwhelming on a petite body. If you have a tiny waist, you can def get away with this and it may look gorgeous, but if you are like me and thick in the torso, then it may be too tight and the bigger sizes may then be too big on the rest of your body.

I cant recall but i think I ordered a 4 and 6 and wore the size 4. I loved this dress, which I wore to a wedding in which it wasnt clear if it was a black tie. I ddi feel a little underdressed because it's more fun than fancy, but the full sequins made it festive for the occassion (was also New Year's Eve). I paired it with vintage sequins shoes from the early 80s and a long necklace, which added to the throw back feel. The dress was roomy at the hips and waist, so it was comfotable to eat, drink and dance. Also, i have athletic and muscular arms and shoulders and had no problems zippering around the rib cage and no problem with the arms being too tight. I would rent it again.

I can't believe I don't have a picture documenting how gorgeous this dress was on me! Let's just be real for a minute... if you have booty and you know it, this dress is your new best friend!!! It was super flattering. My butt looked superb and perky! I have athletic arms, so while the sleeves were long on my 5'2" frame, they weren't too tight (often a problem for me) and I could roll then a bit at the wrist without it being noticeable. It was a little tight, so you may want to size up for a backup, but I was able to zipper. Also I get very self conscious of my tummy and didn't need any spanx with this. Solid choice that I think would flatter many. I wore it to a work party, so it was sexy yet conservative enough for many occasions.

I don't know what exactly it was about this dress, but it just made me feel "thick." I have an athletic build so usually this halter neck line is very flattering, but I just didn't feel that confident in this dress. I rented this as an adult guest at a sweet 16. I liked the dress but didn't love it. It was comfortable and fit true to size but the black stripes at the waist made me think of Beetle Juice. Also the colors aren't very vibrant, so it wasn't as happy and funky a dress as I anticipated. Nonetheless, it was good enough. Highly recommend being slightly tan so it doesn't wash you out. I have an athletic build with muscular/broad shoulders so I often need to wear a 6 to zip up my back. I am 5'2" and 130, and I preferred the medium.

This is another of ny fave rentals. Very fun and unique dress. Easy to wear - no fuss! I sweat a lot and wore it in the summer. It has a durable material that isnt too hot and also didnt reveal any sweat stains, making it a no fuss dress. Wore it out for my husband's birthday. It's fitted obviosuly but the material is thick so it doesnt show every lump and bump. Just your curves! I am short so length was great but may be short on a tall person (i am 5'2")

This dress was pretty hideous. I think if youre tall and lean it would have a Kate Middleton conservative/sexy/classy appeal. But i am petite and the asymmetrical shape looked too long. It was a little baggy and just looked sad. I went with another dress option. I dont think it ran that big, but i more safely wear a 6 or a Medium and i would have selected a size 4 if i wore it.

Fits true to size. I am 5'2" and it came down solidly to my knees, so it was a conservative length on me. Paired it with a RTR choker and strappy shoes, and i had compliments galore from complete strangers. Very comfy, and the fit was generous so it would fit a variety of sizes. I am petite but athletic (muscles) and didnt have a problem with the arms being too tight. One thing, the shape of the dress curves out for hips, so if you are narrow and not curvy, this might not be your best fit. Also despite being a light color the material is thick so no see-through or undergarmebt issues. Definitely one of my best rentals. Wore to an anniversary multi-course brunch at a formal restaurant.

Really fun, different, dramatic dress. You definitely need the right event for this dress and the right personality. The tulle skirt is very full, and the top sparkles. Wear it with minimal jewelry and keep your neck line simple. I have really curly big hair but pulled it back in a casual bun to let the dress shine. As for the fit, it is true to size but err one size up because it is fitted in the rib cage. I am very athletic with broad shoulders, so the 4 was slightly small. the chest area was a little bigger than I would have wanted but not noticeable. Consider double sided tape for extra security but not necessary. The beaded bodice did rub my arms by the end of the night. It was a great pick though! I felt completely unique!
