This was great for work or an elegant wedding! 

This dress was beautiful and comfortable! The waist band does not stretch so you may need to size up. I am 5'10" about 135lbs and usually wear a small. I wore the medium but I am also 15 weeks pregnant. Highly recommend, absolutely gorgeous! 

I rented it for a formal date night for my hubby's 30th birthday and it fit like a glove! It was modest & sexy at the same time and I didn't have to worry about anything "falling out". Highly recommend this dress!

Pics don't do it justice, the lace is thick, heavy and beautiful. So much detail at the cuffs and waist. One of my favorite rentals by far. Unfortunately the zipper was problematic, and I needed two people to help me dress/undress: one to tug the dress down and one to force the zipper to move. Length was just right

TTS, perfect for a work event where you want to be sophisticated and classy. But make sure to have someone around to zip you in and out-very tricky

I thought overall it was a good rental. I wore a size XL and am usually in between a 10 and 14 depending on the way it's made. I was not able to also order a large because they were out of that size. The XL fit fine but I am smaller up top than the bottom. So while it fit fine for the bottom half of me, I wish the top could've been a bit more fitted. I told my husband that I wish there were half sizes. The top is a heavier material than it looks like on photos but I actually loved that. 

I secretly always try to be one of the best dressed in the room and as simple as this dress may seem it received compliments all night. Would rent again but I got my eyes on several other dresses on RTR for future occasions.

Great dress: skirt is short and floaty. Waist very defined. Top looks luxe. 

Oh, man, that zipper! Believe the reviews - the zipper is tough! It sticks and you will need an extra hand. If the size you choose is a little snug, you may need two extra hands! That said, once the zipper is up, the dress fits wonderfully. It's well made and very true to the pictures. The pleating in the skirt is very charming. The lace adds sophistication but the skirt length adds a certain youthfulness. I received so many compliments on the style. The size I chose was actually a bit snug in the ribs/waist, but with the larger size, the neck and sleeves were loose, which made the dress look/feel less polished. The larger size was also longer in the torso, so the dress cut across my stomach, which wasn't very flattering. Even with the tighter dress, it was comfortable to wear for the entire evening.

Its true to size.Im 5’1 110lbs and XS just fit right. The only down size is its hard to zip up! It took probably 10-15 minutes just to zip the dress. But overall it was still a nice and comfortable dress to wear. 

The fit was nice but the sleeves were a little scratchy. All in all a fabulous dress. Very easy to move in and didn't crease when I sat. I'd definitely rent more dresses in the future!

Lots of extra fabric. If you have a smaller chest I recommend going down a size. 

This dress was perfect for a winter wedding in Chicago. The small fit me like a glove. It was a little short because I am 5'10", but with black tights and heels, the dress was a hit!

Fit true to size. Wasn't quite a fitted on top as I would like, but this made it comfortable! I received so many compliments!! The skirt is much more pleated than it appears, which I loved! 

This was actually my backup style and I didn't wear it, but I had to leave a review anyway because I absolutely loved it! It was absolutely gorgeous and I was just to have two beautiful dresses and only one event. Highly recommend!

I rented this for a formal "dinner and a show" date night. First, I think it looks better in photos than in person. The floral cut outs on the top kind of looked cheap to me. The zipper was extra hard to zip up, even with help. Once it was on, I felt constricted in the arms, and it was tight around my neck, which I hate. I ended up keeping it a bit unzipped so I had some room around my neck. I did get a lot of compliments, but I probably wouldn't rent it again. 

Fits TTS although as others have mentioned, zipper takes someone else to help.  

Sleeves are a little itchy but doesn't make or break the look.  Makes a nice silhouette & got lots of compliments!!

The zipper is terrible, as reported by other reviewers. You absolutely need a 2nd person to help you zip/unzip bc it's far from smooth. Dress was nice, but a more "mature" look than i was going for.

As others had mentioned, the shoulders are a bit tight and the zipper gets stuck at some points because of the lace but still zips ok with some help. Because of the shoulders, I went for my backup Medium size and that made the sleeves a bit looser but overall still comfortable. I loved it!

Fit was TTS - I'm built smaller on the top so this dress definitely worked in my favor.  The top was fitted and the skirt was flowy; the dress was so comfortable!!  Tons of compliments.  The only small issue was the zipper, it was a little challenging to pull up due to the material.

I wore this dress for a dinner in Newport, RI and it was perfect. I'm petite (5'2" and 110 lbs) so the arms were a little long and big but other than that it fit well. The only complaint I have about the dress is the zipper kept getting stuck. If I didn't have my boyfriend there to help me the dress wouldn't have worked. 

I wore an extra small, I'm 5'3" and 120lbs. My shoulders are an athletic build and almost had to wear the size small for that reason. Overall the dress was great. 

Loved this dress--wore it for my nephew's baptism.  It's comfortable but the zipper is extremely tough to get up--nothing to do with the size though, I think it's the material.  Got many compliments!

The dress would be nice for an autumn or winter event. I like the long sleeves and higher neck. It’s also nice to find something that isn’t super short. Be aware: the zipper is a bit sticky so you’ll need a friend to zip you up. 
I’m usually a dress size 4, and wore size S. The S was the right size but unfortunately, the proportions of the dress just didn’t align with my frame. The waistband didn’t hit my natural waist, so head-on it made me look wide and wasn’t particularly flattering. The top was also rather loose. I wore a padded strapless bra which helped but it was still a little baggy over torso below my bust. It looks very cute on a lot of the other renters, but wasn’t a hit for me.

I absolutely love this dress. The only thing is it ran small in the hip/waist area. I wear and 8/10 and the large was a tad bit small. This dress was perfect even in 70 degree weather. I received so many compliments. The dress is a little warm if you are a dancer like me so keep that in mind. I would definitely recommend it though. I would size up if you have a booty!

This dress is super pretty, and the lace on top was more comfortable than expected. I got lots of compliments but wouldn’t rent this dress again. I’m 6’1” and very pear-shaped. My back-up size, a medium, had TONS of extra room in the chest, giving the dress a baggy and unflattering look. So I stuck with the small, despite it being quite short on me in the back. The sleeves weren’t long enough for me but stayed pushed up at a 3/4-length and looked fine.
A solid dress but not one I’ll opt for again!

Perfect for lovely casually outdoor wedding. Danced all night! 

Totally love this dress so pretty but the zipper was very difficult to pull up so I needed someone to zip it up and zip it down after wearing!

This dress was beautiful on and got a lot of compliments. It was easy to move around in and was comfortable. I am giving it 4 stars because I almost couldn't wear it because it was nearly impossible to get zipped (and it wasn't too tight). It took me 20 minutes to get it zipped up. 

The dress was really nice and very flattering. Although the top is open with the lace embroidery, it does not breathe well. I wore this for a wedding in September in the 80s and the dress was too hot. I was fine in the church, but had to change for the reception.

Fit true to size, but not a stand out dress. Which was exactly what I was going for for my friends more laid back wedding celebration!

I'm normally a 6 I chose a medium because of the reviews I'm glad I did, the sleeves were slug if you had to raise your hand well it would be tough. The zipper is small you'll need help zipping it, the pleats made me look slimmer 

True to size, sleeves are looser than they appear in the model pictures. Very comfortable. 

Loved the dress, the waist band is a little tight but overall the dress is very comfortable. 

Loved this dress so much. However, the zipper was super tough, definitely would not have been able to zip this by myself. The thicker black fabric around the waist was the toughest part to get the zipper past. The waist was a little tighter than I would have wanted, I wish I would have ordered a back up size just to see. Other than that I loved the dress and would absolutely wear it again.

I loved this dress! It has a really nice flow when walking and makes me feel extra girly. Very chic and professional enough for the office! I would definitely rent again! the dress hugs me in all the right places, yet very comfortable.

This is a well made dress perfect for a work event or Conservative party. I loved it and would wear it again!!

I rented this dress as a back-up for a charity event we were attending. I wound up wearing the first dress I rented, but I rented this knowing I could wear it to work as well. It's a great dress, and I immediately received multiple compliments when I entered the office. The top part was hotter than I thought it would be, considering the lace and how "open" it is. Probably better for a time of year other than summer. The waist is very fitted, so whereas I could have gone down a size based on the top, I would not have been able to zip it up. I did not have issues with the zipper that others did. 

Worked perfectly for work all day and then a nice dinner out.
