Not silky
Really thought this dress had a more elevated fabric, but it’s really just a thin cotton. Not the best option for wedding welcome drinks but would be nice for brunch or a bridal shower. Rixo runs tight - I’m usually a 14 and rented an XXL. It was also very low cut. Ended up not wearing it.

Good skirt for work
This has a good interior elastic that helps it stay put! Moderately hard to style for work in summer in my opinion.

Beautiful color and fit!
This dress is amazing. The color is vibrant and amazing for red heads. I also loved the fit - the asymmetric hem works well with heels (not pictured) and moves dramatically when you walk. I also thought the fabric was gonna be like thick like tweed but it is not - it's light and has stretch to it. I'm gonna stalk this on Saks until the price drops and purchase it!

Too twee for work but still fun
The back has elastic / shirred waist do you should order your normal size. I ordered one up bc I thought the brand ran small, but it was too big to wear. Also it's pretty long so definitely better for brunch or weekend events.

Good for work
The color is more purple blue than cobalt / navy blue. Also the knot hole shows a wee bit of skin? Kind of weird and had to keep pulling it flat.

Boxy and weird fabric
The pockets stick out at the hips which is annoying. And the fabric is NOT a summer fabric - beware! Weird and stiff. Didn't even wear it.

Very revealing for work
As with all DVF, the chest runs small, so you have to either pin it or later. Wasn't that into this dress so I decided to do neither and just send it back.

Runs large and good for work
Definitely runs large in the hips as other reviewers said. Also the waist is higher than most dresses so good for short torsos / a little weird for long ones (like me). The zipper was SUCH a b*** - the seam messes it up. Unfortunate because I probably would have worn it a few more times.

Great dress but odd shape
The print is beautiful as with any DVF, but the "column" shape is a bit tight in the lower waist which makes it drape a little strange. Also does not look good belted. You can't really wear this to a corporate environment because of the midi / maxi length.

Great print but tight in the shoulders
This dress is a full, heavy silk, so I wouldn't recommend for summer. Length is good for work. It has weird zips at the sleeves which when open make it a bit better on the shoulder tightness. Cool print!

Great dress and super flattering but the zipper was WORK to get up because of the fabric. You can wear a normal bra with this too. I really liked it it's super glamorous.

How can something run large but also narrow in the waist?
This dress was beautiful and didn't fit at all. The reviews said it runs way tight in the waist and the stylist suggests it runs large - ugh confusing. Pretty dress but terrible fit - my other kate spade dresses do not fit like this. Disappointing.

I loved the color of this dress and scallop detail of the lace.
Like the other reviewers, the top is TIGHT and flattens boobs! The bottom is also quite roomy. And, my back zipper was seemingly about to fall down, but before I went out, I made sure to pin a safety pin through the zipper (perpendicular) to keep it up and it worked flawlessly/was not noticeable.

I didn't end up wearing this dress.
Firstly, the 12 I received was mislabeled by the manufacturer (not RTR) and didn't fit. When I attempted the 10 I ordered as a back up, I was disappointed that a) the neckline is HIGH, and b) this dress is NOT for any type of evening event - it's basically cotton. it also is a lot more yellow in real life, and the pleats in the front are very visible. it's basically a day dress/sundress.

This dress was fun. It was a back-up dress.
Ok, so the material is pretty bad, and it doesn't breathe at all so you will sweat. Also it's very short, but the neckline was fine on me, not too low, definitely sexy. Too bad this is Erin Fetherston because I would not pay real retail price for this.

I wore this for a black tie event in early spring and I really liked it.
The straps were a little long on me, just as the other reviews say. It did also create a LOT of cleavage, but I think that overall it was great. The pockets are placed a little strange as well. It photographs almost black, but is a midnight blue in real life.
