pros: a simple, easy and gorgeous style. high quality fabric: quilted satin bodice and navy chiffon with cotton underlay. adjustable criss cross straps in the back. not too heavy or hot to wear. flattering for those who want to minimize their mid-section and lower body. emphasizes waist and bust. eye-catching and modern colors. great for a beach or summer wedding or event! cons: side zipper is TRICKY and difficult. i rented both a size 4 and 6 p. both had this issue. LONG! even though i wore the petite size, i needed to quick hem the dress. THANK GOODNESS FOR FASHION TAPE!

The color of this dress is fabulous...a deep sea foam green that could compliment any skin tone. I got lots of compliments on that and the fabric. I loved how demure this dress was because of the sleeves and overall cut, yet I found it to be chic, retro, with a hint of sexy. In addition, I am between sizes 6 and 8 - this dress ran large. I could easily fit into the size 2 that I rented but opted for the size 4 for a little more comfort. My impressions: Pros: Comfortable and effortless. No zippers to deal with. Fabric is forgiving: the slip under the lace has some stretch. Has a nice weight...not too heavy or flimsy. Can help to conceal mid-section area because it is a shift and more loose around that area. Lovely color. Great length for petite ladies (5'4" and under). Cons: The fabric has a tendency to catch on things. I found the lace to get stuck on my jewelry. The rental I received looks a little "worn". The sleeves are not as forgiving and can feel tight on larger arms. I could see this dress as a "staple" if I owned this dress in my wardrobe. It can be dressed up with statement jewelry or worn with a blazer for a work event.

I was THRILLED about this gown after renting two dresses from RTR for the same event that did not fit. They were able to credit me for the dress that did not fit, which I applied it towards this rental. I didn't have much time to order and was worried about the selection since it was so last minute. Nonetheless, I was extremely pleased! The rental came the morning of the event along with an alternate dress that I also loved. It was so hard to choose, but I finally chose this one because it flattered my skin, and I felt like royalty in the gown. On to my review: Pros: Gorgeous, timeless color and design with flowing emerald fabric, a leg slit, rouching around the bodice, and one shoulder. The slit was not too high - very classy! Comfortable, easy elegance. Great for smaller busted body types (34A and smaller) Great for larger hips - the flowing skirt helps to conceal that area. Cons: A little too long. I am 5'2" and wore 4 inch heels. The dress dragged on the ground by an inch or so. The side zipper is tricky! I needed my fiance to help zip this up The bodice was a tad tight, even for me. I have a 34A bust and with my strapless bra on, it was still a tight squeeze. Overall, I felt beautiful in this gown and would consider renting it again for another event!

I am a little sad that I didn't get to wear this dress! Both of the dresses that I rented through RTR came in perfect time for my event. Now, for my impressions: Pros Absolutely gorgeous, classic, and elongating to the body. Very flattering for the hourglass figure. Very comfortable! Cons Runs a bit long. I got the 8P ( I am 5'2" and tried it on with 4 in heels. There was still about an inch dragging on the floor). Maybe large on top for those with a smaller bust. I wear a 34A and would have used double stick tape to keep the dress flat on the bust. I hope that I have another event where I can rent this dress again!

It is a little on the "heavier" side which may not be appropriate for a summer or warm weather. Here is my take: Pros High quality fabric (black overlay on top of grey jersey like material) which makes it look expensive. The length is great for shorter women (5'3" and under) who want to show off their legs but is not too short. Overall, a nice design! Cons For those who are conscious of their mid-section (as I am), this dress may not work for you. It does seem to work for hourglass and straighter body types. The slight shoulder pads made my shoulders look wider, which I did not want to accentuate, along with my larger arms. I truly appreciated receiving a dress credit from RTR and their customer service when the dress did not fit. Luckily, I was able to order an alternate dress on short notice through RTR, which I completely satisfied with!

This was my very first RTR rental for a formal NYE's event. I was extremely pleased with RTR's timeliness in delivery, the packaging, and the free goodies that came with my first rental such as the garment bag, double stick tape, and shampoo sampler! Now, to the details: Pros Sophisticated, grown-up sexy. Different and unique from other sequin style dresses. The dress has a waist band that helps to make the dress longer or shorter, depending on the fit and your height. For me, I used the band to make the dress more "blouse-y" on top. The dress is more of a bronze that bright gold, if you are going for a more subtle sequined look. Cons If you are apple or hourglass shaped, the dress may fit tighter around the hips. This dress would be flattering on a more narrow hip body type The sequins get caught, so be careful. They were also a little "itchy" around the arms and a few were missing when I received the dress. Overall, VERY pleased! I have been coming back to RTR for all of my event fashions and can't wait to try more dresses!
