I ended up wearing this dress, however begrudgingly. It wasn't bad enough not to wear, but it wasn't a great look. The top fit oddly, with a gaping neck and unflattering look to the bust but was somewhat tight through the hips. Overall, it accentuated my bust and the belt didn't help define the waist which added up to a boxy, heavy look.

I rented this dress at 31 weeks pregnant for a black tie optional wedding. It definitely runs small in the bust, but everywhere else is more than forgiving. Prior to getting pregnant, I was 5'3" 140lbs 34C. Now, I am probably a 36-38D/DD and my rib cage is wider. I was surprised that the 10R wouldn't zip, however luckily the 12R did. It was snug, but worked. The bottom of the dress was very bump friendly and I enjoyed the pockets. At 5'3", it was almost on the floor with no shoes, so factor that in if you are short. Overall, very pleased with this rental and would certainly recommend for any mamas to be! I received many compliments and felt good about myself, which is tough in the third trimester when you're feeling like a small planet :-)

I rented this dress at 22 weeks pregnant for a black tie optional event. The fit was generous [I wore a 6-8 prior to becoming pregnant, 5'2", 34C] though I ended up wearing only a short heel due to the length of the gown. I would definitely encourage tall ladies to order a long; I honestly didn't notice much difference between the 8R and 8P. I added a belt and some leather thong to the neckline as I had to pin it up at the nape of the neck due to the low cut and loose nature of the dress. For ladies with a petite frame, pinning up the top will be a must. Overall, it was very easy to wear and was perfect for a growing belly....or dinner. The dress was in good condition overall but I did notice some separation of the seams in places along the waistline and the zipper.

This dress is really a great option for an event that is formal but you don't want to look over the top. This was my first time ordering from RTR and I was really impressed. I ordered an 8 and 10, normally wearing a size 4-6/S-M based on the other reviews. I decided to wear the 8 but it did feel tight in spots. The mid section is very forgiving and ultimately why I chose to wear the smaller size because the torso of the 10 was just too blouse-y on me and the shoulders were too loose. However, the area from the top of the hip through the thigh was perfect for me with the 10 but alllllmost too tight in the 8 (enough to make me feel a little self conscious but not to attract any unwanted attention). Overall, I would recommend trying this dress in a size up from your normal unless you are heavy in the hips/thigh, in which case definitely size up twice!
