Prettiest Red Michael Kors Dress
I wore this Michael Kors maxi dress to brunch with friends. It’s so lovely; the top and skirt are of different textures, but both are light (perfect for late spring). I’m 5’6”, but I found this dress a little long (it just touched the ground). I would purchase and hem it if it were cheaper. So nice! Definitely will rent again.

Lovely Dress in Blue
I wore this Jason Wu for RtR piece to a photo shoot for an organization of which I’m a member. It is so lovely—heavy weight, well proportioned, elegant. Unfortunately, the size small was out of stock, but I made the medium work. Would rent again (in a small).

My Favorite Jason Wu Rental Ever
I. Love. This. Dress. Jason Wu for RtR killed it with this piece. I was a little worried that the drop waist would hang poorly on me (as I have an hourglass shape), but it fit so well. I wore this to work for casual Friday and felt perfectly put together. I would buy this dress if it were cheaper! Will absolutely rent again.

Beautiful Donna Karan Dress
I wore this Donna Karan New York dress to a friend’s birthday party. It was so well received; I received compliments all day. Unfortunately, the dress ran large—I was adjusting the top continually. Otherwise, it was a perfect choice. I would rent again (likely in a smaller size).

Pretty Adam Lippes Collective Dress
I enjoyed wearing this Adam Lippes Collective dress. The bodice and skirt fit perfectly; the cut was flattering for my figure, and the button detail on the left side made the dress more interesting. My only complaint is about the sleeves--they run long, and they are slit to the wrist (giving me an awkward silhouette with a coat on). Otherwise, this was a beautiful, interesting piece to wear to dinner with friends.

Perfect Thanksgiving Dress
I wore this Saunders Collective dress to Thanksgiving dinner at a friend's house. It runs true to size and is figure-flattering; I did not feel uncomfortable once dinner was finished (it is made of a stretchy, forgiving knit). I would rent again.

Love this Toccin Piece!

Adorable Derek Lam Dress
I wore this Derek Lam dress on a night out in November. The contrast between the turtleneck top and flared skirt is interesting, making it look like two pieces rather than a dress. There is an invisible zipper under the left arm (which I didn’t notice when trying to put it on). Note that the dress is SHORT—I had to be aware of how I moved all night to avoid a wardrobe malfunction. Still, I felt adorable and really enjoyed wearing this dress.

Such a Fun Dress!
This navy Shoshanna dress was the perfect choice for dinner on a rainy November evening. While it photographs as black on RtR, it is closer to royal/navy blue in real life. The orange and teal contrast piping is so fun, and the silhouette is universally flattering. I would rent again!

Another Jason Wu Collective Win!
This Jason Wi Collective dress is STUNNING. It is the perfect choice for fall. I have an hourglass figure; while the dress appears to be a straight cut on the hanger, it flattered my curves and hung perfectly. At 5’6”, the dress hit me mid-calf; all measurements were as described on the RtR web-site. For those considering a purchase, the dress is machine washable. Will rent again! I am such a fan of all Jason Wu Collective pieces.

What a Fun Dress!
I wore this John + Jenn dress out to dinner on a weeknight. The print is more interesting in person than it appears online. The fabric is heavy and substantial (recommend avoiding this rental in the peak of summer despite its cut). The dress fits true to size. I would rent this dress again for another everyday occasion.

I wore this Cinq à Sept dress on two different occasions--to a baseball game and to a weeknight dinner. I am IN LOVE with this piece--it fits my figure beautifully; it is made out of a heavy, luxe fabric; and it fits true to size. If it weren't dry-clean only, I would have purchased it for my wardrobe. I will definitely rent again!

Marchesa Notte Does it Again
I wore this Marchesa Notte dress to the theatre. It is a stunning piece--its silhouette is flattering on my hourglass figure, its fabric is intricately detailed, and it fits true to size. The only challenge I experienced in putting on the dress is that the zipper got stuck, temporarily, at my mid-back. Otherwise, I would rent this dress again.

I Liked (Didn't Love) this Dress
I wore this LDT dress to a dinner on vacation. The print is beautiful, and it fits true to size. My two complaints are 1.) the drawstring waist takes away some of the glamor of the silhouette and print, and 2.) the neckline of the dress rolled down, slightly, to show approximately one-quarter inch of the lining. Overall, I was pleased with this rental; while I may not choose this specific dress again, I will rent another LDT piece.

Sea New York Hit a Home Run!
I love, love, love the Laila embroidered dress from Sea New York. I wore this piece to brunch over Labor Day weekend. Its length is perfect for girls of average height (I'm 5'6", and it hit slightly above my knee). The dress' cut is boxy, so you can size down if you want a slimmer fit. The only criticism I would give Sea New York is that the fabric is not forgiving in the summer--walking home with groceries after brunch led to some unflattering markings on the dress (the fabric is not sweat-friendly). Other than that, no complaints. I would rent again! Maybe not in August, though.

Stunning Kate Spade Dress
I wore this Kate Spade New York dress to a dinner at an upscale restaurant. From the time that I exited my apartment, I started receiving compliments on this dress. It is extremely flattering and emphasized my hip-to-waist ratio. The little details (e.g., small clips to keep my bra straps in place) made this piece extra special. I would rent again!

Love this Slate & Willow Dress!
I wore this green and white Slate & Willow dress to a Green Day concert. It has the perfect blend of casual and interesting--the hem keeps a dress that could be considered basic fun. The only warning I would give is about the dress' lining. Like other Slate & Willow pieces, the lining is VERY short. The two layers on top were sufficiently opaque that I didn't need to worry about flashing anyone, but I did think about how I moved in the dress all night. Also, the tie for this dress is sewn onto the back (in the center); this limits where you can tie it around your waist and prohibits you from replacing the fabric tie with a more substantial belt. Still--these minor imperfections would not prohibit me from renting this dress again. A great quasi-basic!

Very Pretty but Larger than Expected!
This Hutch dress is a stunner--its variegation is stunning, and the cut is flattering. But the skirt has too many layers to make this dress wearable for anything but a formal event. Unfortunately, I could not wear this for the (more casual) affair I had planned. I would rent this dress again, planning for the right location!

Elegant Dress, Perfect for Every Day
This Lauren Ralph Lauren dress was the perfect piece to wear during a desultory week in Washington, D.C. Its fabric is light and airy; it is figure-skimming while not feeling tight anywhere. I would note that the dress photographs white, but it's more of a kaleidoscope of light pink, light blue, and cream. Lovely. Would rent again.

“Gothic Faerie” Vibes
I have never received more compliments on any RTR piece than I did when wearing this Slate & Willow dress. It fits true to size, though I would note the bust area is rather small (I’m a 34D, for reference). The dress’ hem hits at my lower calf; anyone shorter than 5’5” may struggle with the dress’ length. Loved the look, overall. Would rent this dress again.

I thought the print on this Club Monaco dress was adorable. Unfortunately, the skirt is not A-line (but rather fitted with a flared piece at the hem). I also did not like that the fabric sash was sewn onto the dress—I had planned to swap in a leather belt instead but could not because RTR has sewn the belt (in an awkward place) directly to the dress.

Such a Lovely Dress!
This La Vie dress is an unexpected hit! While it is made out of sweatshirt material, the puffed sleeves, pockets, and silhouette elevate the dress to new heights. I wore it to trivia with girl friends; sheer black tights and black boots made the outfit. While the dress is rather short, its demure neckline and tulip skirt make a potential fashion faux pas a success. Because of the excellent fit and the fact that this dress is machine washable, I will likely purchase it (edit: I did!) to expand my permanent collection. Such a good rental!

This Sachin & Babi dress is ADORABLE. Its fit is true to size, and the A-line cut is so flattering. The fabric is very heavy (substantial). I loved the unexpected dark-green color and beautiful hemline with textured inserts. I generally do not purchase dresses that require dry cleaning, otherwise I would have kept this one.
