The dress is true to size but very fitted. I would definitely suggest wearing spanx with this dress.

This was such a beautiful dress and I was so disappointed I could not wear it. I rented the 0 and the dress was extremely tight on my hips, and I have pretty small hips. The dress was also way too big on my stomach and chest. The dress is stunning though and would look great on someone with different proportions.
