This dress fit true to size. I didn't try on the XSR at all since the SR fit. This wasn't a particularly special dress that earned many compliments, but it fit just fine and was comfortable for an outdoor summer wedding.

The 4R fit well. The 2R was a bit tight but also zipped up. This dress was on the longer side compared to other R dresses I've rented in the past. The only downside about the fit for me is that the straps aren't adjustable and kept slipping off my shoulders. I would shorten them if I owned this dress.

The XSR was too tight. I wore the SR, which was a bit loose. I had to pull up the back constantly to make sure my bra didn't show. I am 5'4", and the length was perfect in 3 inch heels. The high slit made it easy to walk in. The collar has three buttons, which I wasn't expecting. The buttons and loops on the XSR were of a completely different style and material from the ones on the SR, which was odd. (Picture attached.) I was a little worried the buttons might come loose, so I kept a safety pin in my purse. Luckily, I did not have to deal with a wardrobe malfunction. I thought the dress looked good from the front but awkward on me from the sides. My arm, shoulder, and back look awkward in many of the photos where I wasn't fully facing the camera. I probably wouldn't choose a dress like this again.

I liked the dress a lot. It's a bit iridescent, and the gold parts have a bit of a green gold shimmer in person. Unfortunately, because it's a tight dress and the fabric can bunch up around your wider parts (as shown in the picture), it isn't flattering in all photos. Another flaw was that the straps were not tightly sewn. One of the straps came undone halfway through the night, and I asked my husband to tuck it into the back of the dress. Luckily it was more decorative than supportive. You can see it's missing in the photo.

This dress was very comfortable. I'm not a huge fan of racerback dresses, but at least I didn't have to worry about things showing or slipping. I wore a regular strapless bra with the dress, but a racerback bra would have worked too. The slit made it easy to walk in, and I liked how the dress flowed when I walked. I don't care for how the dress was sheer below the thighs, but it wasn't too bad. One slightly nitpicky thing that I didn't like was how the floral pattern looked very misaligned at the seams on the back, but at least the back of the dress isn't in most photos. The length of the SR was about right on me with 3" heels. Maybe half an inch to an inch long.

This dress was very unique. I'm glad I was able to rent it because it's definitely the type of dress you can only wear once. I wore it for a black tie wedding, and the dress got a lot of compliments. The cut calls attention to your hips and butt. The halter neckline also had a tendency to pinch my armpit fat. I was really excited about this dress based on other reviews and pictures, but I found the style disappointing. The size 2 was a bit loose on me all over. The cut looked a bit matronly from the front. The bow in the back was cute, but most people don't notice the details in the back. I didn't want to pose very deliberately with my back towards the camera, and the dress just looked plain from the front. The short cap sleeves didn't sit well on my shoulders, and the dress kept slipping forward despite being made of a fairly stiff material. I wore a normal strapless bra underneath, but I had to push it down a bit to keep the top of the bra from showing at the back. Only one person complimented me on my dress the entire night, which is not a great compliment count!

I didn't actually wear this dress for the event. Size 0R was pretty loose on me. I am 5'4" and tried on the dress with 3.5" heels. I think size 0P would have fit better. I attached 2 selfies I took when trying the dress on. The top was very loose, and I think it looked too big on my frame. It also made my already flat chest disappear altogether. For this dress, 4P fit me but was a little long and loose. I am fairly flat-chested, and the dress flattened out my front a bit more. I had to return this dress to RTR for a full refund. Neither the 0 or 2 would zip up at the top, although I usually wear either a 0 or 2. I think a 4 would have looked much too wide at the bottom on me, since the 2 already looked bigger on the bottom than the 0 by quite a bit. I would have worn the dress in person had it fit, but I will note that the dress was both brighter and more textured than I thought it would be. The bumps were very large, even for jacquard.

As other reviewers have mentioned, the dress is not actually a colorblock dress. The top and bottom are very similar in color. The bottom is fuchsia rather than a deep red. The fabric on top is more cottony and less shiny than the model photo suggests. A slight drawback is that the top layer of the top would not stay put. Maybe my torso wasn't long enough for the dress. I tried to use fashion tape to keep it down, and I used bobby pins to shorten the left strap. However, you can still see the awkward flap in my photo and in other reviewers' photos as well. I am 5'4", and the length was about right with 4" heels. I did have to pick up the dress to go up and down stairs to avoid tripping, but that usually happens with floor-length dresses. There was a lot of fabric in the skirt, which made it fun to walk and dance in. As a final note, I was really impressed with the service I received from RTR. I originally ordered 2 dresses with a backup size for one. One of the sizes I requested wasn't available, and RTR emailed me to ask me to email 5 backup options. They sent me 2 of the ones I requested and a 3rd that a RTR designer selected. This was one of the backups.

I wore this dress to a wedding. I really liked the color and thought the style was fairly unique. My friends told me that they thought it fit well. The labels on the dresses I received didn't have the size written on them, so I'm not 100% sure which one I ended up wearing. I think I wore the 4. The difference between the two dresses I received wasn't huge. One felt a little more snug and bunched up more around my waist, but they both fit. Unfortunately, the only pictures I have of myself with this dress on are not very flattering. The dress is meant to be form-fitting, and as you can see from other customers' photos, it bunches up around the waist and hips even on slim people. Make sure to smooth out the lines when you take photos. I personally thought this dress looked better with hair up than hair down, given the high and slightly decorated neckline.
