thick fabric
Great dress for colder fall days or winter. Thick fabric, but attracts every piece of lint and hair. Sleeves were just a little too short for me, but overall a good garment.

Comfy and beautiful
The texture of the rib isn't the usual ribbing you see, and adds just enough interest for an otherwise conservative dress. Buttons on the side were a bit hard to undo. It was easy to fold back the sleeves so they weren't getting in the way.

great summer skirt
It took sooo long to steam/press to get the wrinkles out and the pleats on the top made it even more difficult. But overall, a great skirt for summer.

Not sure what to make of the sizing.
Hard to tell whether this was too big or too small! I felt like I kept pulling the belt closed a lot and ended up wearing a nude-colored slip under it so it didn't end up too low-cut at the chest.

no give in the fabric
I wish I'd gone up one more size, it fit great while standing, but trying to sit down there's no give at all in the fabric and I had to pull it up quite a ways to sit comfortably. The print is really gorgeous and I love the lace detail on the slits.

interesting top
I don't think it's exactly my style, but it was nice to mix it up. Didn't need to wear a bra with it since the criss-cross sections are thick and opaque. I liked the square neckline and texture of the fabric, unfortunately it was rather dingy looking.

A little warm for a June wedding, but it looked fantastic and the pockets were a nice utilitarian touch. Didn't need to wear a bra with it. Gorgeous color and lined, brocade fabric. Very comfortable throughout the night.

wedding guest dress
This dress looked really great, photos don't do it justice! Not very accommodating to a bra, so I didn't wear one. Sizing was a bit weird, the M was a bit too loose at the top and the bustier cups looked weird. The S (which I chose to wear) was perfect on top and a bit too tight in the hips, but there's a bit of stretch in the fabric so it worked out well and I had no issues. Had no issues sitting down for dinner or dancing afterwards :)

A little too casual
I got this for a wedding, but didn't end up wearing it. The fit is nice, and the colors/patterns are fun, but the fabric is just a bit too casual for a wedding. Would be fantastic for a resort vacation, though!

Looked fabulous, and moves great
I rented this for a holiday party, along with some other dresses, and this was the winner! The asymmetrical bottom moves beautifully when walking or dancing, the side cut-outs are playful and a little sexy, and the top is great to show the shoulders. I'm a B-cup and didn't wear a bra with this and it was pretty tight, so maybe not ideal for larger busts. The one very minor annoying thing was the zipper of the top part (there's a zipper for the top part, and a separate zipper for the skirt part), it was a little fiddly. Definitely difficult to do up yourself.

sexy and flattering dress!
This dress is definitely smokin'! I got a size 6 and 8 (usually I wear a 6). However it seemed a little too big, and the top was threatening to roll down. I think if I went with a size 4 it would've fit perfect. I didn't end up wearing it for my event, but was impressed with the quality/thickness of the material and would consider it again.

I rented this to wear to a wedding. My bust/waist/hip measurements are 36/29/40" Size 10 fit OK in the waist and hips, however the bust gaped by a good 2-3". Size 8 fit better on the bust and zipped up easily, but was noticeably tight on my hips and I was worried about being comfortable sitting. Additionally, since the dress is unlined, it's easy to see any shapewear or even the lines of nylons underneath it. The bust darts also showed through in a weird way, although maybe that could've been steamed out.

I wore this dress for a holiday party, and it was gorgeous! It looks romantic, and billows out beautifully when you walk or if there's a breeze, and the color is fantastic. The fit was a bit unusual - I usually wear size 6 for RTR dresses, however I wore size 4R for this dress. I was worried it would gape in the chest since I'm not particularly well-endowed in the bust area, but it was a perfect fit with just a regular bra. It was tightest around the lower ribcage, but too roomy in the waist. The length of the 4R was perfect for me being 5'8" and wearing high heels. I still needed to pick up the back part so people wouldn't step on it when walking down stairs, but otherwise it was an inch or two above the ground.

Lots of compliments on the necklace!
I wore this necklace with an off-the-shoulder black dress and the matching earrings that are also on RTR. I got so many compliments on the necklace, it looked fantastic! Definitely needs to be paired with a simpler dress so it stands out on its own. One of the jewels was out when I opened the box, but I was able to pop it back in and tightened the prongs around it with some jewelry pliers. It didn't come out again after that.

Lovely pattern and color!
I didn't really believe that the sleeves would be as tight as other reviewers said, but they are! I don't consider myself as having particularly large or muscular arms, but it was difficult to bend them all the way at the elbow, or raise them above my head. Other than that, it's a fantastic dress. I love the details like the scalloping at the bottom. It was great to be able to wear any bra. And the combinations of the colors was super pretty. I paired this with the Whiting & Davis Hollywood Boulevard Clutch.

Comfortable and unique!
The color is a darker blue in real life than in the photo, and the skirt was a little bit hard to walk in since there wasn't much of a stretch in the fabric nor a slit. Otherwise it was flattering and the material was soft.

I was hoping to wear this for engagement photos, but I think this is the one and only unflattering dress I've gotten from RTR, unfortunately. I got a size 4 and 6, and 4 was the 'best' fit. The bust was both tight, but also very unflattering to a smaller cup size. The waist was more straight than it should have been, so it made my midsection look bigger, and the seam right under the bust-line just made the whole thing worse. Not to mention that the lace was rough and itchy. It's also difficult to move your arms. The only redeemable feature was that the back looks awesome and the lace IS pretty, but otherwise I would not recommend unless you are curvier to fill out the top part better

Gorgeous colored dress that moves beautifully -- made me feel absolutely fabulous!
Both the 4 and 6 fit me fine -- the 4 was a better fit in the top part with a less padded bra, so I would consider sizing down if you have a smaller bust. I wore the 6 because the bra I was wearing was padded (it was the only strapless one I had that wasn't longline). Make sure to schedule this dress to arrive at least a day or two before your event. The way the front panels are sewn to the lining, the flat seams on the inside tend to wrinkle (and there ends up being puckering on the seams outside). The only way to get them to straighten out was to let the dress hang for a few days -- it's not easy to iron out, and silk is so finicky about ironing anyway that I didn't want to risk it. The photo on RTR makes the dress looks almost a coral color, but it is very much a Barbie-pink (not that I minded :))

Comfy, and great print!
I got a S and M, and was kind of expecting to wear the M, but the S fit fine, maybe even a tad big. The length was fairly modest, it hit me right above the knee. It was a little annoying because whenever I would walk, the dress bunched up around my waist and I'd need to tug it down (but I've had this issue with pretty much every shift or clingy dress). Otherwise, it was a pretty, flattering dress.

My friends said I looked like a little figure skater
I got a M and L as my sizes, but really wish I got a M and S instead. I've rented other RVN dresses and the M was snug but perfect since the dress pulls everything in. The M of this dress did feel like it hung a little (maybe it's been worn out), but the length was perfect for wearing with tights. Otherwise, it was comfortable, and the pattern is very pretty.

I got a M and S size of this dress, and even the medium was tough to get on. I had to put it on by stepping into it and sliding it up (there's no zipper) since there was no way I could pull it over my head. The material was very thick, and although it's comfy, it definitely pulls everything in and slims you down. This dress also made my boobs look better than anything else I've ever worn. The length is reasonable, although because it's so tight it tended to ride up when I was dancing or walking around a lot.

Being comfortable and confident all night!
The M size fit me great. One thing to note is that the back doesn't have the V-shape like the picture, there is a little button to do it up. It wasn't too difficult to undo and button myself when going to bathroom. You will need to basically take the whole thing off, though. The fabric was soft and it was super comfy, I would gladly keep this romper. It also has pockets, which is always a plus!

Being comfortable while looking fabulous!
I loved this dress because it was so comfortable and easy to move in. It is a little bit short, but looks great with black tights. The sequins didn't irritate under my arms as sequined dresses are prone to do. I got tons of compliments on this dress throughout the night, I highly recommend it!

Great dress!
I was looking for something not too formal for a birthday party, and this dress was great. I got both a 4 and a 6, and although the 4 fit me with no problem, it was a little tight under the arms so I went with the 6. It was comfortable all night, although the slip would occasionally get static-y. Also, the color in the image isn't too accurate, the dress itself is a darker, more dusty purple.

The medium fit really well, it was comfortable, although a little snug to put on over the chest. The straps of the dress covered the bra straps and the band in the back, so I didn't have to wear a strapless bra, which is nice. The only downside is that the nude-colored slip underneath the lace dress kept riding up horribly the entire night. Might be a good idea to be prepared for this with some anti-static spray or a satin slip underneath. Other than this, I got a ton of compliments, and looked fabulous!
