Love the neoprene material (scuba suit) as it helped suck everything in, and the pattern was super interesting and pretty. All of the comments prior are accurate: you can wear a bra with this (pro!) but the skirt does ride up around the stomach when you walk (con!). I would recommend trying spanx with it as it was pretty body-con around the waist , if you have any concerns. Otherwise great dress and true to size!

Dress is HOT! No zipper ..looks tiny and pull on over your head.  Comfortable--relatively--got only the small ...wore it to  "the grooms'reception for my nephew's wedding &  it was my second dress for $32.00... I only ordered the small as I wear a 4 or 6 but I am larger on the bottom and a medium would've been too big... can't wait to use RTR again!!!  #partyon   #funweddingevents 

I have rented smalls in this brand in the past but decided to go up for a slightly looser fit. Love the fabric and fun, unique pattern. Such an easy dress to wear for a night out.

This dress was so comfortable and looked amazing. I received many compliments and I felt great in it. I wish I could buy this dress. I chose to wear the large so it was a little more forgiving but I could have worn the medium. 

The dress had the most comfortable fit. The large fit best around my rear :) I paired it with black tights and heels since the event was during the winter. I received such kind comments from people and would most certainly recommend this piece! 

I love the scuba-like material that clover canyon is known for. Hides imperfections and very flattering! This one was a little short at 5'9" so I wore flats with it to work. I should have probably sized up, as the dress kept riding up as I walked. Very different pattern. Extremely comfortable! 

The dress fit beautifully and held in the tummy, it did bunch up a little bit and I had to keep pulling it down overall I would rent it again.

I rented a small for some reason my review would only let me select XS. I am never an XS! I am usually a Med but every once in a while depending on the dress I can fit into a small and that was this one- it is tight but the material is so nice and thick it holds in those troublesome areas we all are self conscious about. I loved the material and I loved the way the dress fit (like a glove) -I docked my rating from a 5 to a 4 only because I wasn't the craziest about the pattern. I had actually rented a totally different dress 1st and had it delivered to the Vegas store (which I highly recommend for Las Vegas trips) . The nice thing about having it shipped to the store is you try the dress on right there and if you don't  like it you can return the dress then for a refund or exchange it for a different dress- so that is how I came to rent this dress by exchange. 

Colors were a little more muted than expected - love the scuba fabric. I rented a large but I think medium would probably fit better - extra fabric was ok for work though so that the back wasn't too tight. Definitely easy to transition from work to dinner out!

I rented this dress for a retirement party.  I wore the size small because it seemed to be a better fit.   I am usually a medium, but I would say that the dress runs true to size, a little big.  I would love the dress if it did not bunch up around the mid-section.  I found that I would constantly have to pull the dress down.  In addition, when I got home, I noticed that the bottom of the dress was completely off center.  This happened a few times during the night and I had to go to the ladies room to re-adjust.  At the end of the night though, it was completely over to the side.  Oh well… it was a fun, unique dress.  

This dress is perfection!!!! Why can't everything be made with this material?!!! It's thick but I wasn't hot even while dancing the night away.  

Usual size 6-8 or M-L and typically I end up wearing the larger size due to my hips, even with a weight gain I had to wear the medium as the large was too big around the bust/arm area. The pattern is very flattering especially around the waist area and photographs extremely well. If you plan on wearing Spanx the dress is long enough on a 5'6 height to be able to wear the thigh shorts and not be visible if you bend over, but the Spanx bodysuits/slips are not low enough at the back for the cut out. I also had to wear a multi-way bra as my regular bra's sat 1/2 inch higher than the cut out.

Wore it to a family friend's daughter's sweet 16. I felt classy and sophisticated. It had great colors and was a funky fun dress. I love the longer length. 
Although it is true to size, it did ride up a little but other than that it was great. 

I wore this dress to a holiday party for work and it was a huge hit.  So comfy I didn't want to send it back!  This dress works effortlessly on many levels- breathable and bright enough for warm weather yet totally appropriate for a holiday event too.  I am also a big fan of James Joyce and this dress is an excellent conversation piece.  Highly recommended!

Picked this up at the store and I wanted a medium, but they had none in this print. So I just squeezed myself into a small, and because of the thick fabric, it held every unsavory part of my stomach in place. If you don't like thick fabric, this brand is not for you, but as a master of the Spanx trade, I was totally into it. I got so many compliments on both the fit and fun, cool James Joyce print, it was a total hit! 

Form fitting without being restricting like a bandage dress. Good length (I'm 5'2") and wedding appropriate. I was able to wear a regular bar. The Small and XSmall were almost the same fit, so I went with the XS since I'm on the shorter side. I loved the original pattern on this dress.  Unfortunately, the picture was taken without a flash indoors, so its not the best to show off the dress pattern.

Neoprene material is comfortable and easy to wear.  Dress is long which was good for a church wedding. Color is not quite as bright as in their picture.

This dress sold me on clover canyon forever. I felt stylish and unique and received many compliments - no one could believe how affordable this rental was. I probably could have warn the small but was rushing out of the door and didn't bother to try it on. I wore a small in another clover rental and found it didn't bunch up as much. Definitely rent this dress! 

This was my first time wearing this designer and material. It was great. I could have worn the small, but it was a bit tight across the hips and i didnt think it would work well for walking. The medium was still form fitting, comfortable, and colorful. I have relatively larger hips, so it kept riding up as i walked, but its length helped that not be an emergency. I got lots of compliments, and will be renting this designer again. 

The dress does ride up a little, so you do end up doing the Captain Picard tug. Also, I wore spanx to keep in shape. The print is fabulous. You can move in neoprene, no problem. The back is cute!

Great great great dress. Fit was perfect and even though I was feeling bloated on the day of my conference, this dress still made me feel great. Only negative thing I have to say is that it does ride up while you walk, but what dress doesn't. This could be amazing for a wedding, work event or even just cocktails with the girls. Get this dress or try clover canyon at least once. Love. 

I loved wearing this dress, I wore if for an ordination ceremony and it was just the right amount of formal, yet funky and comfortable. My only complaint is that I did continually feel the need to pull it down when walking and I wore the small, but the medium did not feel at all any different or larger. 

The fabric is kind of thick, but soft and stretchy. Great for me with curvy hips and butt. it kind of bunch up a little in the M so I went with S. 

This was a great rental! The material is thick so it's definitely forgiving. It did get a little hot, so I would recommend it for a cooler weather wedding. Both the XS and S fit, but the XS just fit a little better on top. The length was perfect  and the colors were pretty vibrant. I would definitely rent again from this designer.

I ordered both a M and a S just to see since I felt like I was in between after reading some other reviews. They both fit me and I really could have worn either but the M started to bunch a bit in the mid section and I liked the length of the S better. So I went with the small. I wore it for my engagement photos and I couldn't be happier wit be the way it looked in photographs! Also, the material made it so that I didn't have to worry about it wrinkling while in my bag since we took casual photos in jeans and tshirts first. Overall, I loved this dress and would rent it again. And for a first timer I was pleasantly surprised with how easy it was. 

Dress fit true to size & the print was very fun. Got a ton of compliments.

This dress is one of my favorite rentals so far.  It is tight, but in the best way possible.  The fabric is thick and really hides any flaws.  The pattern is stunning, I got so many compliments on how unique is was.  The only issue is that is bunched up a little, but not too bad.  Rent this dress!!

I love the unique print and so did a lot of my friends.  The thick fabric minimizes any lumps or lines.  Very comfortable, but the lower portion needed to be pulled down at times.  Would definitely rent again or something similar from the brand.

Fit great with spanx to hide my little post pardum belly. Love the full coverage up top. Easy to move and dance in. Material is just as I had read in other reviews "like a wet suit". 

This is a great dress.  Both the XS and S fit, but I wore the S, not really sure why.  It rides up just a bit as you can see in the picture, but didn't really bother me.  Paired with the pink clutch, also rented, and black patent strappy heels.  I felt really good in this dress, the fabric is really comfortable.  I'd definitely recommend to others.

Had a "cocktail" attire wedding to attend, but knew a lot of it would be outside in June in Texas!  Needed a summertime feel dress that was still fit the cocktail/evening bill, and would look good if I were to sweat my booty off.  Read this dress was made of "wet suit" type material, and I was sold it was the dress for this event.  I was so right!!  Fit like a GLOVE, could wear a normal bra, and didn't need Spanx but wore some to help make it look more streamline over my hips.  It was very unique (no one was wearing anything close to it!), and I could dance the night away in it without feeling uncomfortable or worry about sweating through it.  VERY, VERY stretchy for bust and hips.  Choose your size on how snug you like to wear body con type dresses.  

Love that this was "wetsuit" material. I wore it to a chilly March wedding in upstate New York and it was perfect. I was between a small and medium, but opted for the medium as it was a little more forgiving and didn't bunch as much in the middle.

This dress is super comfy and the material is very stretchy material.  I loved the print, so unique. It was definitely a statement dress as well as a conversation starter. I think the length is great, hits just above the knee. A must rent!

Fits like a glove giving just a bit extra room in the belly.

It hugged my body perfectly. I felt amazing  all night.
