Had a "cocktail" attire wedding to attend, but knew a lot of it would be outside in June in Texas! Needed a summertime feel dress that was still fit the cocktail/evening bill, and would look good if I were to sweat my booty off. Read this dress was made of "wet suit" type material, and I was sold it was the dress for this event. I was so right!! Fit like a GLOVE, could wear a normal bra, and didn't need Spanx but wore some to help make it look more streamline over my hips. It was very unique (no one was wearing anything close to it!), and I could dance the night away in it without feeling uncomfortable or worry about sweating through it. VERY, VERY stretchy for bust and hips. Choose your size on how snug you like to wear body con type dresses.

Love that this was "wetsuit" material. I wore it to a chilly March wedding in upstate New York and it was perfect. I was between a small and medium, but opted for the medium as it was a little more forgiving and didn't bunch as much in the middle.

Fits like a glove giving just a bit extra room in the belly.

It hugged my body perfectly. I felt amazing all night.

Even though I don't usually wear such form fitting dresses, I absolutely loved this one because of the richness of colors. Very form fitting so spanx is a must. Does ride up a little when you walk, so need to know you will have to adjust occasionally. Overall I still loved it and got lots of compliments.

I wore this dress to a rehearsal dinner for a wedding I was in. It really stood out. The dress is true to size and I liked that you can wear a regular bra with it. The fabric is neoprene so it's a little heavier which I liked for an early spring event in New England.

I got the XS and S from RTR, ended up going with the S because I didn't want a super tight fit. The length was a bit long when I walked; the dress ran up (as you can see on stage). Otherwise, for the event the dress was PERFECT! I envisioned a print that was conservative yet hugged my body- this was it. Felt so confident all night and received lots of compliments. Did I mention there are "Portrait of an Artist" pages on the skirt??

I was initially skeptical to order this type of dress between the material...and I usually stick to solids and don't do patterns. But when the stylist brought it to me and I tried it on in person at the Las Vegas RTR -- I fell in love. The material sucks you in and shows off your curves. I have never received more compliments on a dress or felt more confident walking around a party packed with hundreds of people. Definitely recommend! And will try more Clover Canyon designs in the future.

Scuba material is pretty forgiving, even after some Holiday fluff :) I would rent your normal size and a size down, sometimes tighter can be magic!

Rented both the small and XS, preferred the more snug fit of the XS so wore that out. The back was cut just low enough to show a bit of my bra when I tried it on, but I was able to get away without wearing one later. Wore this to a New Year's Eve party that was a little more relaxed and it was perfect.

The colors and pattern of this dress really helped it stand out at a wedding-- and it looked great in photos :) I thought it fit really well too-- the divide in colors extenuated certain curves, without it being too incendiary to wear on my friend's big day. True to size, no complaints-- highly recommend!

The dress is made of neoprene (wet suit like material) which I did not realize but ended up loving it. The dress is a beautiful pattern and very different than anyone else's. It is very tight but the thick material sucks everything in. I would not rent this if you have more than a little extra weight in the middle as it is very form fitting! Definitely perfect for thin, curvy, or maybe a touch extra fluff. The dress is about knee length but the open back makes it sexy! I felt very comfortable in this dress and loved it for a fall wedding! I'm typically a size 8 so went with the medium and it fit nicely! I probably could have worn the small but it may have been a bit too form fitting!

I had searched for months to find something to an outdoor wedding that if I was honest I would only wear once and this statement piece was perfect - I didn't waste money buying something and I didn't have to dry clean it! The fit was great as the material was 'forgiving'. I had many compliments and absolutely loved it and that it came so efficiently and was easy to send back. I'm tall so needed something with a modest length, and this worked perfectly.

I would suggest getting your "normal size" and then a size smaller. I wish I had gone with a S and XS instead of a S and M. The M had way too much material. The material of this dress stretches out quickly, especially at the bottom.

Looks like a nice quality dress and fit well. I knew Clover Canyon dresses fit tightly so thought I might need a medium, but wished I got a XS. Don't get me wrong, the small was great and I got lots of compliments, in person and from my photos. Classy dress, but tight and sexy at the same time. Definitely will rent another Clover Canyon dress!

This dress is even better in person. The details and uniqueness of the pattern make it a standout. It's body hugging and fits like a glove, but there is stretch in the fabric so it fits easily and comfortably. Also, a plus is you can wear a regular bra. It was only a tad tight in the bust, but I am a 34C and wore an XS. Overall this dress was amazing, I was so happy with it- and so happy that it was recommended to me by a RTR employee. The silver bag and gorgeous jeweled earrings were also rented- the complete look was put together for me by RTR. Thank you so much for styling me and making me look and feel great!

I loved the bold print! The cut was form-fitting, in neoprene, but still well covered. Went to a nice dinner and jazz, and was elegant but not stuffy. Loved the dress! Would rent again! One note: I wore with a normal bra, and the back did peek out a little above the cut of the dress. Not a big deal, but probably want to wear something close in color, or trust the neoprene to keep everything in place.

This dress is super comfy and the material is very stretchy material. I loved the print, so unique. It was definitely a statement dress as well as a conversation starter. I think the length is great, hits just above the knee. A must rent!

The dress if anything runs a bit on the larger size for fit. I normally wear a size 4 and ended up wearing the small because I thought it was more appropriate for a wedding, but if I had wanted a tighter fit the xs would have been fine as well. The material is extremely flattering, despite being "thicker". I would say that the colors are slightly more muted than the other photos might indicate, but once outside they brighten up. If you're planning on wearing this indoors, know that the dress won't look as vibrant.

I enjoyed wearing this dress to a March wedding. The dress is very slimming and flattering. I would recommend this dress to my friends.

Being made of a light neoprene, it did bunch up a bit at the waist. I had to keep pulling the dress down and sucking the gut it in! Besides that, I wore a normal more structured bra and skinny britches Spanx.

I wore the dress for New Years. The dress runs true to the size. It was form fitting and loved the different patterns. Received many compliments.

This dress was beautiful and definitely an attention grabbing dress for a formal (but not too formal) event. It fit very well, hugging the body in all the right places. One thing about it was it does ride up a bit if you aren't careful. But overall awesome!!

This dress is a thick scuba material! I love the colors on this dress! Fit to size ! I ordered a large and it was perfect.

Dress is HOT! No zipper ..looks tiny and pull on over your head. Comfortable--relatively--got only the small ...wore it to "the grooms'reception for my nephew's wedding & it was my second dress for $32.00... I have rented smalls in this brand in the past but decided to go up for a slightly looser fit. Love the fabric and fun, unique pattern. Such an easy dress to wear for a night out.

This dress is perfection!!!! Why can't everything be made with this material?!!! It's thick but I wasn't hot even while dancing the night away.

Usual size 6-8 or M-L and typically I end up wearing the larger size due to my hips, even with a weight gain I had to wear the medium as the large was too big around the bust/arm area. The pattern is very flattering especially around the waist area and photographs extremely well. If you plan on wearing Spanx the dress is long enough on a 5'6 height to be able to wear the thigh shorts and not be visible if you bend over, but the Spanx bodysuits/slips are not low enough at the back for the cut out. I also had to wear a multi-way bra as my regular bra's sat 1/2 inch higher than the cut out.

I wore this dress to a holiday party for work and it was a huge hit. So comfy I didn't want to send it back! This dress works effortlessly on many levels- breathable and bright enough for warm weather yet totally appropriate for a holiday event too. I am also a big fan of James Joyce and this dress is an excellent conversation piece. Highly recommended!

Picked this up at the store and I wanted a medium, but they had none in this print. So I just squeezed myself into a small, and because of the thick fabric, it held every unsavory part of my stomach in place. If you don't like thick fabric, this brand is not for you, but as a master of the Spanx trade, I was totally into it. I got so many compliments on both the fit and fun, cool James Joyce print, it was a total hit!

This dress sold me on clover canyon forever. I felt stylish and unique and received many compliments - no one could believe how affordable this rental was. I probably could have warn the small but was rushing out of the door and didn't bother to try it on. I wore a small in another clover rental and found it didn't bunch up as much. Definitely rent this dress!

The dress does ride up a little, so you do end up doing the Captain Picard tug. Also, I wore spanx to keep in shape. The print is fabulous. You can move in neoprene, no problem. The back is cute!
