Fun print
I received this as a replacement because the dress that RtR substituted wouldn’t work for my event. Unfortunately, this one arrived after my event, so I wasn’t able to wear it, but I definitely would have. I was worried about the peplum making my hips look bigger, but it seemed to add movement without adding too much bulk. I’m smaller on top than down below, and the fit was good throughout. The print is interesting and different from what I usually choose. The only downside is that the straps aren’t adjustable, and they were long enough that they were slipping down. I wish RtR would alter their dresses to make spaghetti straps adjustable… with other dresses I’ve just added a quick stitch to temporarily shorten them, and would do it to this one too if I was going to wear it.

Perfect Fall Date Dress
I’m usually between a M and a L, but the M was unavailable, so I ordered a L and XL. Unfortunately, the L wasn’t able to be shipped, so I only got the XL (and a frumpy, underwhelming second option). I was so disappointed! I decided to try it on and was pleasantly surprised that the geometry of this wrap allowed it to be snugged in to fit. It made the neckline higher cut and the darts didn’t quite line up, but otherwise you couldn’t tell that it was too big. The fabric is stretchy, which made it so comfortable, and the mustard velvet has a gorgeous sheen that made it perfect for fall. I would love to rent it again in the correct size!

Frumpy
This was a replacement when the dress I ordered wasn’t available in my size (Slate & Willow Mustard Wrap Dress). It is also a yellow wrap dress, but that’s where the similarities end. The fabric is soft and swingy, but the wrong yellow for fall and much too casual for the event. But the biggest issues were in the fit of it. I’m a size or two smaller on top than bottom, and what I usually love about wrap dresses is that they accommodate that and let me customize the fit a bit more. The top on this one was way too big and blousy and the length was also too long (or too short - it just hit at a really awkward place), so the overall look was frumpy and dated. A total miss!

Fun and Sparkly!
For a girl who’s favorite color is glitter, it doesn’t get much better than NYE and this dress was perfect! The subtle stripe pattern in the dress adds dimension and I got so many compliments all night. The fabric has some stretch, so it moves with you. The neckline was the right amount of revealing for my taste, but I could still wear a normal push-up bra, which is always nice. The length was great too - I’m 5’8” and didn’t feel like I needed to be pulling it down all night. Would love to rent it again!

Fun sparkles in a unique color
I wore this dress in white for my rehearsal dinner, and I couldn't wait to wear the green version for a friends's wedding! I paired it with the Jenny Packham Enchanted Melody bangle and earrings, which worked together well. The fabric has some stretch to it, but I sized up because I knew I would be sitting for a lot of the time and I’m a size or two bigger on bottom, where this dress is the most fitted. I wore an adhesive bra because the bodice has no support on it’s own. Overall, the green stands out in a sea of black and blue dresses, and sequins are always a good choice!

Glamour!
This dress is gorgeous. So glamorous and sophisticated. The fabric is stretchy, so it hugs the curves, but the sequins make it thick enough that it glides over the little lumps and bumps. The only issue was that the right sleeve kept riding up as I moved, so before pics I had to make sure I pulled it down to get the draped effect. I went with the larger size because I knew I would be sitting for awhile, but both could have worked because of the stretch. Would definitely rent again for another formal event.

Twirly and Fun
This dress was really fun to wear. The skirt moves so beautifully, and the fabric is light enough that the pleats didn’t seem to add too much volume to my already generous hips/booty. The color is a gorgeous deep red- I felt like the epitome of the dancing girl emoji 💃. The top has little pockets in it so that you can slip in some padding, which helped me fill it out better since I went braless. I’m 5’8” and I thought it was bordering on too long for me. The other issue is that the straps are long and not adjustable. I tried to stick them to me with fashion tape, but it didn’t hold very well. I wish I had realized earlier that the tape wouldn't work and just taken the 5 min to throw some temporary stitches in to make it fit better. But overall, it was a great choice!

The perfect blend of elegant and sparkly!
This was a replacement dress because of fit issues with the first one I picked out, but it was amazing! It was snug, but the material has some give so once it was zipped up, it was decently comfortable. I hate strapless bras, so I wore a racerback one that worked just fine. The sequins were a little scratchy under the arms, but that is the price we pay for sparkle. I got so many compliments on it all night!

Awkward lengths of high-low hem
The fit of this dress was great for me (I'm a size or two bigger on the bottom than on the top), but the proportion of the high-low hem wasn't very flattering on me. Both sides just seemed to hit at an awkward location. I ended up wearing the other dress I got.

My first RtR dud
I am a size or two bigger on the bottom than on the top, so typically dresses with a fitted bodice and fuller skirt don't have any fit issues for me. The skirt on this dress was surprisingly snug for the a-line shape. It pulled across the thighs, and the fabric doesn't have any give. Going up a size meant that the bodice was too loose. I ended up calling and having RtR send me a new dress, so it worked out in the end.

Perfect Rehearsal Dinner Dress!
I wore this for my rehearsal dinner and it was perfect! Sparkly, white, and tastefully sexy. I am between and 8 and a 10, but went with the 10 because the white was brighter and the 8 pulled across the thighs a little bit. There is good stretch in the fabric, but it is thick enough that it didn't seem to show every little bump.

I wore it for my graduation from Surgery residency. It was so sparkly and perfect for the event!!
It fit true to size, which was good since they didn't send the second size. The top had a little more room than I needed, but it didn't look too big, even though I tend to wear a smaller size on top than on bottom. I'm 5'8" and the length was great - hit just above the knee. I did have someone else zip me in to keep the zipper from sticking. All in all, I loved the dress and was sad to put it in the mail the next day!
