I got so many compliments on this dress.  Thinking of purchasing. Form-fitting, comfortable and had no issues with the sequins under arms.  I felt them sometimes, but overall, nothing that annoyed me. I thought the Medium would fit, but I tried the Large first and it was great, so stuck with that. 

Felt like a Barbie in this dress and made the night so much fun! Can kind of chafe your arms when dancing but I adjusted and you can too!

It was perfect for the formal event we attended. It was a little snug on the chest I probably could have went to a large but it did have stretch to it. I received a ton of compliments! 

Dress fit great, tons of compliments.  Some have advised about scratching under arms, I sprayed 'pre-heel' under my arms and that cared for situation!!

The overall feel of this dress is sleek and form fitting, but not too tight. I was worried about the sequins irritating my skin on underside of my arms, but there was no friction so no problems! 

The dress fit great and even helped squeeze in my stomach. I was able to wear a regular bra that crossed in the back which allowed it not to show in the front (otherwise I would have had to wear a strapless). I was worried the material would feel scratch under my arms but it didn't. My only complaint is that the lining didn't lay correctly by the back slit so there were times it showed but if I would have noticed this before leaving the hotel, I probably could have ironed it to avoid this.  

I bought this one because it was so flattering and such an interesting color combination. 

Love the fit! Love the length! I thought it would be a lot "louder" but actually it was quite subdued and just overall, beautiful dress! 

I was 26 weeks pregnant when I wore this and received the most compliments! It fit well, was comfortable, and a great option to wear to a wedding! Loved it!

Fits well, after it is zipped. Need help with the closing the zipper. It was a little but sticky. 

Irritated my underarms where my skin touched the sequins. 

Overall got tons of compliments! It was too long as some have posted about, but I am 5'10".

This dress was incredible! It's gorgeous, flattering and so comfortable. I tried a small and a medium and the medium fit like someone tailored it for me. The detail is impeccable but doesn't make the dress feel too heavy and you can move easily. I am hoping for an excuse to wear it again soon!

Super fun dress that everyone said was like a mermaid. Im 5'1 and 105 pounds ans the small fit well aside from the lemgth being a tad long. 

I would say it runs a bit small. I ordered the M and L and went with the large. Being short, the length was not my favorite, but I knew that when I ordered it. I loved the look of the dress and would definitely recommend it!


I originally ordered a different dress that was way too big, and this was my backup. I absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVED this dress! I couldn't tell you how many compliments I received and it fit so well! I am very petite, and it seemed like it elongated my body, which I liked. 100% recommend. I didnt want to send it back! 

The fit was snug which I liked and it was comfortable. I originallt bought a halter style to wear underneath but you could see the bra on the sides so I just went without and it worked well because the dress was snug. 

Wore this for my birthday dinner. Fits like a glove. Got tons of compliments. 

The zipper wasn't that great but the fit was amazing. 

I was nervous because all the reviews with the women my size picked small.  Only XS left with no other options......i took a chance and it fit perfect!  Enough spandex to make it a great fit.  So many compliments

This was my first experience with RTR. I fell in love with this dress the moment I saw it!  I felt beautiful all day while wearing it! I got so many compliments on this dress!  It fit perfectly and was comfortable to move in. I will definitely be using RTR again!

The dress is so comfortable! I go between a 2/4 and the S fit perfect. It’s very form fitting but long enough to still feel classy. Sequins are not itchy at all. At least 20 people told me they loved the dress. The women running the event said they voted it the best dress of the night— out of 200 guests! 

I love the cut of this dress. I normally wear a 4 sometimes a 2 so I thought I would wear a small but preferred the medium. I had plenty of stretch in the medium and none in the small. Received compliments all night long and felt comfortable. I'm 5'9" and the dress went right below my knees. 

I rented both the xs and sm both fit almost identical! I ended up wearing the xs because the hem on the sm was just not laying right! 
I paired this dress with all rose gold accessories and received complements on how beautiful my dress was!

Two words: absolutely stunning!! This dress is gorgeous! It fit like a glove. I received many compliments. It has a nice stretch to it so although it's tight you can still move around. I danced all night! Best dress ever! If I could purchase it, I would! 

Would never expect to wear this style of dress-- but when I saw the review pictures I had to have it! Its VERY fitted-- so if you love your curves, this dress is for you! If you're a bit self-conscious you may want to pass! I love that even though it had a high neckline and hit below my knees-- it was still super sexy because of how well it fit.  People were saying I looked like a mermaid, a movie-star, a goddess-- I seriously received compliments all night long! And trust me, when you wear this dress there won't be anyone else in anything looking even remotely similar to you -- it's so unique! It's well-made, the colors are gorgeous, and it's just overall amazing. I couldn't wear a bra with it due to how far the arm holes curved in, but it wasn't even necessary. I highly recommend renting this dress-- you won't regret it!

This dress was a hit. I was looking for something a little bit more sexy but I ran out of options and I went for this one. I was amazed how good, sexy and comfortable was this dress. I got so many compliments at the hotel leaving, at the party and at my fb account. Size wise it was true to size. I fully recommend this dress.

I was a little hesitant when I first unwrapped the dress because there were a couple hairs (different color even) on the back up size and one of the primary size. Once I removed them and examined the dress I also found a small hole in one seem on the bottom of the dress. But it was not really noticeable so I didn't worry about it.  finally I tried it on and it was very narrow on the top, so I had to pin my spandex/&bra straps together and then spent the whole night tucking them up toward my neck when rubbed my shoulders raw. I probably would have been better off wearing a halter strap bra. So all this aside, it was so beautiful, I felt sexy but not slutty. Got a ton of compliments and it was really comfortable. 

Wore this for an awards night in Las Vegas. Fit like a glove. While the sequins help cover body imperfections, a pair of spanx helped as well. A little difficult to zip up on your own, but manageable. Dress was a hit.

Loved it. I wore it to a red carpet award show. It was the perfect amount of glam I was going for. The fabric is thick enough to get away with wearing anything underneath. My twin sister actually put on the bonus dress for a portion of the night to see if people could tell us apart 😂

Dress the Population fits so amazing. Like a second skin. The construction is perfect, no undergarments required. Loved it so much I bought it.

Ordered a Small (pictured) because customer reviews with my measurements ordered Small. The good news: it fit. The bad news: it fit like a second skin. I couldn’t sit down or walk upstairs without feeling like I was gonna be popping stitches and I needed to be able to dance in this dress, so I swapped it for a MEDIUM which fit PERFECTLY. I’m a standard size 6, straight frame.
It’s a beautiful dress, well made, easy to pull up from the bottom in the restroom, comfortable, and sequins aren’t scratchy. I needed someone to help the back zipper up & down. 

Loved this dress and got loads of compliments- I have sensitive skin so sequins are usually a.no go- my arms did feel like they were rubbing sand paper all night, so it was only worn once. 

Loved everything about this. The only drawback was a weird patch of silver sequins clustered in one spot that gave the appearance of having a bald patch. Otherwise, would give 5 stars.

This dress was perfect to add sparkles to my sneakers. I felt like my lower tummy would stick out if I wasn’t thinking about my posture. That is my body not the dress, just know the dress won’t hide those things!

This dress was beautiful and high quality but it was not flattering on me which was a bummer because I loved the blue to pink Ombre. And it was stretchy so pretty comfortable too. It was not flattering in the tummy area and especially from the side. 

Loved this dress! Fit well, was really cute and comfortable. I got both a M and S - medium fit well but small was too tight. 
Was a little heavy material wise - would be hot on a humid or sunny day above like 80 or 85. But an evening wedding was perfect.

I usually wear xs but not in this dress. I had to size up . Take pics before you eat because every bite shows.  I did get lots of compliments on this dress. 

I wore this to a gala for my husbands line of work and received tons of compliments! I did think it ran a little bit snug around the midsection, but it was stretchy. I was hoping to get away with no spanx, but I ended up wearing them for a smoother look. I have a larger chest but this made my chest look great! I was worried the sequins would rub under my arms, but I never even noticed them!

Our boss took us to a big theatre event.  I wanted to look fun (like the event) but also fancy because it was work related.  This was perfect !! 

Wore this for a night out! I loved how the dress hugged my body. I typically don’t like sequins because I think they are tacky, but these are the opposite of tacky. Really fun dress. Also very comfortable, didn’t even need a bra

I loved this dress in my second trimester. I was 5 months pregnant. I wore a maternity shape wear to help smooth everything out. I felt very pretty as my preggers self in this dress!

First off, the dress definitely runs small so size up- I wear a small typically or even x-small and had to wear the medium (4) in this dress. But apart from that I absolutely loved it. I have never received so many compliments on a dress before. Highly recommend!

I am tall so it’s hard to find good dresses that fit my long torso. But this fit very well with some stretch to it. 

This dress was EVERYTHING. I wore it for a cocktail holiday party. So many compliments. 
It is SNUG so i would suggest if your in between sizes going up and going braless. I got a small and I’m usually a 2 in most dresses and it fit perfectly. 
Only complaint i would have was it does rub in the underarm area but not badly enough to bug me. 

This dress is beautiful, I got many compliments. It does run small. I normally wear a medium, and the large was still tight around stomach and hips. The material is stretchy, which really helps. I recommend this dress, but definitely go up at least one size.

This dress did not disappoint! It was perfect for an upscale San Francisco wedding. It was comfortable. Did follow advice of other reviewers and prepared with stick on’s instead of bra, as the sleeveless area is a little showy on the sides of your armpits but nothing that made me feel too revealing. Honestly, I could have not worn anything underneath, as the lining is very comfortable and the dress is sequins, so you wouldn’t show through if you didn’t wear a bra I don’t think. Got tons of compliments and felt good wearing it. I would definitely recommend this dress. I can sometimes wear an XS but good thing I had the small, because I could not even pull the XS up Over by bum. The small fit like a glove though.

This fit was amazing! Tons of compliments. I'm on the shorter side but the length was great!

So I LOVE the color. It photographed sooo well. I fit both the XS and S, I just had more breathing/eating room with small. My only gripe keeping this from being 5 stars - the back zipper. Although the front for like a glove, the zipper in the back kept bunching. Even with the tighter XS, the zipper bunched and wouldn’t straighten out. Standing or sitting. So that’s why it’s not 5 stars perfect. 

Wore this for a "festive cocktail" dress code party for a friend's milestone birthday. Comfortable, although a Large would have been likely a better (less snug). Good length, worked well with a strapless bra. 

The only issue I had was that the lining of the dress was longer than the sequined part of it.  I had to use tape to tape up the grey lining so it didn’t hang lower than the actual dress.  It was like this on both sizes as well, so it wasn’t just the medium sized dress that had this issue.  Shapewear makes it easier to get on and off, word to the wise it’s not super figure flattering if you have concerns about your stomach or mid section.  I found myself worrying about the angles of photos because Of this.

This dress was perfect in every way for a wedding and reception dance! Classy, beautiful sequins that are not too shiny or muted. The dress fit great for an hourglass figure, it has a little bit of stretch that was able to fit over my chest well, and did not crawl up when I was dancing! I received a lot of compliments for this beautiful dress, especially the ombré navy and pink color! I normally wear a size 8 dress and the medium fit perfect, snug but very comfortable.

Rented for a Marti gras fundraising gala. This dress was fetching and distinct while still being comfortable and relatively secure. The length is great while it shows off your curves -- shoulders/neckline, waist and legs. You can wear a regular crisscross bra under it. I'm 5'7" and athletic -- you can see where it came on my legs. 

I was so excited to rent this dress because it looked so beautiful, and had the perfect heels to match, but i was not able to wear it has it made me look 3-5 months pregnant! The large would not fit and the extra large was still small and I had a shaper on. Because I wasn't sure if it would fit and renting it right before I was to travel for my wine marketing convention, I purchased a back up dress in case this dress didn't fit and was grateful I did. as I had to wear it. The XXL was not available, but I doubt it would have made a difference. So this dress is best for slim bodies as there is little stretch. I would never show others pictures like this but I would want others to know. I wish this dress was made in plus sizes as it is gorgeous.  

As a newbie, I was so excited to get my first RTR order, and was super impressed with this lovely, classy dress! Beautifully constructed and very comfy! Unfortunately, I hurried through the process and did not notice/read through the helpful reviews, which led to choosing a size that was a little too snug?! :( I will size up the next time and definitely rent this dress again! 
RTR was fabulous to work with, shipping out another dress immediately! 

This ocean mermaid inspired colored dress was perfect to ignite energy into our 1 year celebration of our Oceanside Resort and Spa re-grand opening.  Fit was perfect and although the sequence was much more than my normal style, I felt very comfortable because of the high quality workmanship of the style & fabric.
