Low cut for date night
This dress runs small, so I sized up. It looked great except for the “needs a demi-cup” neckline. NSFW.

I'm good and plump and still sized down, but sister - go two sizes down. The pockets are great, and it's a super-handy garment to throw on...but the size ten on my 5'6" 150 lb self was an oddly length bag.

Looked amazing for a trip to the state capitol.
Warm, velvety fabric with a flattering shape. It has enough coverage to be professional. I styled it with thick grey tights/boots, black/white/saddle scarf, and a saddle brown bag to avoid going too 1940's retro. One star off on the rating because I forgot how exhausting it is to wear bust-to-thigh shape garment. I did note people looking at my name tag in the cafeteria with lobbyists, legislators, interns, and activists masquerading as people with money (me). ...so it worked as intended.

Stunning - if you are tall and thin.
On me the sleeves were comically long and the waist was too small. It's a kinda warm coat - but it's not lined or extra thick. That being said of you are built like David Bowie and channeling his thin white duke aesthetic wowzers it's next level elegant without veering into goth territory. That is why I have a high rating to a garment it didn't wear.

Amazing Mrs Maisel Energy
I can't stop wearing this glamorous orange coat. It goes with almost everything. Yesterday it turned some navy blue sweat pants into 'darling, i'm just between pilates and the spa.' I'm particularly loving it snapped at the throat with a scarf and gloves.

Power dress stunned at an industry mixer
Love. Love. Love. This dress is polished, professional, and cuts a beautiful body line. I will order it again one size up...I had to wear multiple spanx to get it to zip and a slip to obscure the shorts/cami lines. I wore it anyway because it was so beautiful. I made some great connections at the event and the power dress helped to underscore that I am an expert in my field. (Paired with grey tights & boots, orange see by chloe coat, and gold / mother of pearl statement necklace.)

Yummy floaty silk

Too small for laptop
The very base of the bag is 11 inches in length, but the top is shorter. I couldn't fit either my laptop or my tablet in this bag. When I rented it, the notes said it was 15" long. Other than that, it is a lovely piece with magnetic closures.

Polished and professional
The color is saturated and beautiful. I felt confidant at my presentations. The silk is a good quality and fully opaque. It runs large. I paired it with a green shell of the same season (spring 2019) to keep the low neckline from being a distraction. Would rent again in a smaller size.

Billowy coat is a stand out.
I wore this for some outdoor political stumping events. I had a bottle of water in the pocket, and it was easy to forget it was there. It's not as warm as you'd think - so I layered it. It did that poetic swingy, Jackie-O thing.

Turned heads
It did everything but work the room for me. The ring and straps give it a bold visual interest. The fabric is a thick damask which is stretchy and form-fitting. I wore a spanx that went up to the bottom of my bra to avoid panty line. I used fabric tape to make sure that nothing odd happened around the armpit (as can happen with a strapless bra).

The hips are tight, so it would have to be tucked in. The sleeves bell out so much that it could only make sense with a high-waisted skirt as a nod to Carmen Miranda. It didn't work the femme accountant vibe i was targeting.

I felt confident for a big presentation. It is like a power suit for a woman. The fabric is thick and the top is a little tight . I wore a spanks slip to keep the bra line from happening. I didn't switch it out for a larger size because having a very fitted to is part of the overall lines.

Nice shape
The jacquard really is beautiful. The colors are tasteful. I was worried it would be metallic shiny, but no, it's thick silky elegance. The six was so small i could have worn an 8 or a 10. I had to roll the sleeves and only close one button. Otherwise i would have rated it 5-stars.

Then add more safety pins. I had this beautiful silk blouse pinned shut in a few places. The tie part came undone when i stood up to shake a colleague's hand at the end of a meeting. I had a navy camisole under it, but it did swing part way open.
