I got so many compliments on this dress and felt like a million bucks! Perfect for a fundraising dinner event. Fits true to size. I'm 5'4" and pear-shaped. I'm pretty small on top and have wide hips so tend to avoid sheath dresses or dresses that are fitted through the hips but I just sized up and the top still fit well.

I really love the idea of this dress and it's a great twist on the LBD. I wore it for our company holiday party. Like a previous reviewer, the reason I'm only giving it 4 stars is because of the way it cuts into the underarm "squish." Size 4 was too big in the bodice, but size 2 kind of cut in at the top which isn't the most flattering thing in the world. It didn't cut in that much, which was why I went with 2, but wasn't perfect. I still loved the dress in spite of this.

I wore this dress to a fall New England wedding and I fit in perfectly. It was a sunny day but was slightly cool, so I am happy I ordered a dress with sleeves. I was comfortable in the dress all evening. I normally wouldn't EVER wear a dress without a bra (I've had two kids) but I was totally comfortable without one in this dress due to the shape of the dress. If you have to wear a bra, it will have to be backless because the back of the dress is too low to wear with any type of regular bra.

The only reason I am giving it four stars instead of five is because of comfort. I typically go for fit & flare style dresses since I have a pear-shaped body, but this is more of a sheath dress so was tight on my hips & thighs and was uncomfortable to sit in. Also, I couldn't lift my arms above my shoulders because of the sleeves. I feel these we're minor issues and overall was a great-looking dress and got multiple compliments on it :)

I wore this dress for a company holiday party, so decided to pair it with tights since it was a little chilly outside. The dress was cute enough, but I was really disappointed that I didn't receive the belt that was supposed to come with the dress since I feel the belt really makes the dress. Fortunately I was able to find something that was similar to the belt in the picture. I ordered this dress because it looked good on everyone in the pictures, but I was about 5 months pregnant when I ordered and the fit of the dress was not flattering with a baby bump. It was not clear that I was pregnant and instead just looked really bulky in the front because of the draping. I'm sure it would have looked fine had I not been five months pregnant. I rented this dress to wear to a wedding... when I was 8 months pregnant! I normally wear a 2 and figured that since it looked roomy in the midsection I would probably be fine with a 4. I was wrong, however. I wish I would have ordered a 6. The 4 was just slightly uncomfortable and I knew I couldn't wear it an entire evening so I had to wear a dress that I alread had. If I had ordered the right size it would have been perfect.

I loved the color of this dress and it looked great from the front and back, but it really wasn't the most flattering dress from the side because the way it is knotted in the front leaves it to sort of drape, so it was not fitted in the mid section. Would probably be bump-friendly but makes you look heavier than you are since it is not fitted. Also, the size 4 was smaller than the size two I received so I'm assuming someone had the size 4 altered. If so, I would say it runs a little big because the size 2 was quite large when I normally wear a 2.
