This dress is awesome -- would be flattering on many body types, and I love how it's lined in case you are caught outside on a windy day like I was! Only downside was that the area just below the belt is very tailored and fit a bit tightly -- I sized up for my backup and was glad I did since the larger size gave me more room to breathe. :) Very versatile dress that can be dressed up or down - I wore with tights and boots since it was rainy.

This dress is great for a party! It's stylish (especially with the open back) and really comfortable. Definitely stays in place even if you are dancing and having fun. I'd recommend sizing down for your backup -- I wish I had since the fabric is pretty stretchy and the back was a little loose on me in the S. I didn't wear a bra with this and was fine.

Originally tried this in the Vegas store -- would not have picked it myself but it is super flattering and fun! The skirt would look great on just about any body type. It's very forgiving after a big meal and has pockets! The top is fitted and despite my fears about a solid-colored dress being "boring," the slits add plenty of interest to the dress and the gorgeous purple color stood out in a sea of black dresses at the "black tie optional" wedding I attended. Note: The 2 fit me, but the slits on the side were more flattering in a 4. Would recommend sizing up for the backup since those side slits can squeeze tightly!

UPS had a snafu so this one didn't arrive in time for me to wear it. I did try it on once it came though! The fabric is beautiful and there's a great petticoat-type layer to keep the skirt shape. It fit well other than in the shoulders -- I have narrow shoulders and had I been any smaller, the straps would have fallen off. Really pretty color but would recommend more for a bridesmaid dress or conservative event -- it's classy and tasteful.

I wore this for a black-tie family wedding -- this dress was incredible! It may not look like much on the hanger, but on you it's elegant, hugs your curves, and is very comfortable. I felt like I was being indulgent because I was able to move and sit well in my dress and still look classy. The back is great -- little tricky to figure out how to get it on at first but incredible on. I was sad to return this one for sure... and I think my husband was as well. Perfect dress for hitting the right balance between classy and sexy at a cousin's wedding. There wasn't much of a difference between the 0 and the 2 on me but for some reason the 0 was longer on me for the bottom hem, so I wore the 2 since it worked better with my shoes.

Perfect dress for Vegas! This was a replacement when my original choice was unavailable to ship -- not what I would have chosen as my first option, but so very glad I got this one. The print and styling was perfect for dinner & a show in Vegas. I loved how the skirt flounced around when I walked, and the stretchy fabric worked like Spanx without needing to wear extra layers. Note that unlike other Herve Leger dresses, this is not a "bandage dress" -- the pattern "strips" are part of the print on the fabric, and the printed sections are all one big piece. That being said it's still a similar fabric to Leger's classic bandage dresses, just not constructed in strips. Only real downside were the patterned horizontal straps that go across your biceps -- if I moved my arms much those rode up closer to the black vertical straps, which didn't look as good. It was easy enough to adjust throughout the night but I wouldn't recommend this for an event where you'll be waving your arms around a ton.

I rented this dress on a stylist recommendation at the Vegas store to see Penn & Teller. Wasn't sure about it at first since it wasn't what I would normally pick. It's like a magic trick in that the dress is really snug, but surprisingly moves when you do -- I could sit down and stand back up as if I were in casual clothes. It's sexy while still being classy since the mesh on the top balances the bra-like solid piece across the chest. Only downside is the arms were a little tight -- hard to lift my arms higher than shoulder height (not like I needed to at any point but worth noting. The best part of the night was getting chosen to go up on stage with Penn & Teller for their rabbit out of a hat trick! The dress as you can see photographs well and I felt comfortable in it in front of all those people. Overall a fantastic dress for an amazing night.

This dress was amazing! The color really stood out at the black tie wedding where I wore it -- even with all the spring shades. The deep blue/purple color is lovely in person and photographs well. This dress is quite comfortable and looks really elegant! It fit well and stayed put all night. Even the back is gorgeous! Would definitely recommend wearing wedges with this one as regular heels can catch in the lace train, especially while dancing! Heels are probably necessary for most ladies wearing this one...As other reviewers have said, this dress can be pretty long. I'm 5'4" and wore ~3" heels.

I wore this for a NYE bash at a local bar / pub. It fits really nicely and I appreciated that despite being strapless, I did not have to worry at all about the top falling down. The top of the dress is much more structured that it looks and hugs you snugly while the skirt is flared and flouncy. One of the best parts is that the top snug part doesn't cover your stomach, so you can definitely eat a lot while wearing this dress and not worry about feeling constricted. It does help to have a second person who can help zip you into this one while you are getting ready though -- it's tricky to zip it up yourself even though the zipper is on the side. This dress looks great with pearls like on the model -- I wore it with a long fake-pearl necklace that I doubled up. It's a great dress for dancing and twirling around! Also worth noting: The fun print fabric is high-quality and silky, and the skirt has secret pockets in the sides. :)

At first I was disappointed with this dress -- it definitely photographs as whiter than it is. It is definitely a creamy ivory and I was worried it would not look good with my pale skin tone. However, once I tried it on with my red tights I intended to wear it with, I realized that even though the color was not what I expected, it makes a good base for more colorful accessories! I bought a to wear with it (at Target) and added a Santa hat. The waist is a little odd looking so I'd recommend wearing it with a belt of some type. I got compliments all night on my outfit and was very comfortable in the dress which was great. It has a short skirt but the ruffle on the bottom covers everything nicely so you can look good and not worry about your dress riding up. I'd recommend ordering a size up as your backup, especially if you are like me and your abs are not completely flat! I ordered XS and S and wound up wearing the S with Spanx.

Great dress! Very flattering in terms of the tailored cut and the color was amazingly vibrant without being flashy. The fabric is thicker -- perfect for spring or fall, and the dress has hidden pockets in the skirt. It's well made and tailored very nicely - other than the straps, it fit like it was custom made for me. I got many compliments on it at the wedding I attended in it - even the mother of the bride! I'd recommend making sure you have fashion tape and safety pins on hand, esp if you are on the shorter side - as other reviewers have warned, the straps run large. I had tape but no pins, but I made do by not slouching and occasionally pulling a fallen strap back onto my shoulder. Not a dealbreaker at all but if I had safety pins it would have been a non-issue. Also note that this dress definitely shows off your chest -- if you are a bit smaller up there it may not be the one for you as the dress is fairly low cut.
