This is made in very thin and stretchy fabric and runs large, if you're looking for something elegant and structured this isn't really it, but it does make it comfortable. Size down if you're hourglass so it doesn't hang off you in the waist in an unflattering way. Would try again in a 6 or even 4.

Do not believe the hype on here, this is a 31/32 inseam pant at the most. Maybe it used to be long and got shorter due to cleaning or whatever but these were cropped ankle length on me and I’m not even that tall (5’8”). Otherwise a nice work pant.

The sleeve with the tie is completely open. Like, flap of fabric hanging out exposing your entire boob open. It makes the dress unwearable unless you have a really small chest and copious fabric tape. And even then I think it would still look very strange. I wanted to love this, the fabric and color are magnificent, and the rest of the dress fit fine. Maybe someone else can make it work. Sent back without wearing.

I rented this for a "crash of '29" party I threw. :P The deco beading is gorgeous, and the dress is heavy and feels expensive. However, as an hourglass-shaped lady who still loves shift dresses, this one does not drape the best around curves. I would recommend this more to women with relatively smaller busts and hips.

Hourglass ladies, this LBD is your friend. Thick, supportive fabric with very little stretch, cut super curvy (i.e. the waist is much smaller than the hips). You can even see on the hanger that this is cut for an hourglass shape. Was tight and thick enough to go without a bra (32E). It did squash the girls a bit, but I didn't mind. This dress is very versatile. I kept it via Unlimited until it needed a dry clean, and wore it to work with a blazer, out for a date with my fiance, and to a gala. Perfect for each occasion. Great dress. Runs small, size up for backup. I'm 2-4 and 4 was molded on.

This dress runs quite big. I read some of the other reviews and opted for a size up (normally 2-4), and that was a mistake. I was swimming in the 42, and probably could have used a 38. Nevertheless, the dress was gorgeous pared with black tights and boots for winter. I loved the collar and white scalloped bottom hem! Heavy fabric, A-line fit (which is why you should size to your waist).

This is a nice dress but the material of the main part of the dress (as opposed to the sleeves, which are made of satiny material) is thin crepe and it wrinkles very easily. Plan on steaming out. Easy shift fit.

I was worried that this shift cut would make my hourglass shape look bulky (thanks, boobs), but wearing a size down made it close-fitting enough that it was flattering. The sequins on this dress have to be "petted" the right way, but once they are in place they are gorgeous, like wearing liquid. Sizing is pretty flexible because the fabric is somewhat stretchy, but runs large. I probably could have worn anything from a 0 to 4, so depending on how tight or slouchy a silhouette you're going for, anywhere from 2 sizes down to your regular size. The dress is pretty short on anyone average height or above, but to me this was a plus, since with the sleeves and conservative neckline, a little leg looked sexy while still classy IMO.

This dress can be tough to zip into, but it's perfect for hourglass figures. It made me feel like Jessica Rabbit. For those who have larger busts like me (32F), you will show cleavage in this dress, but it'll actually hold you in and up just fine! It's a toughie to accessorize because of the odd colors (way darker and more muted than it looks in the RTR picture), but I went with black tights and pumps to cut down on the sexy factor a little, along with clear crystal earrings from RTR. If you are curvy, rent this dress, you won't regret it!

Fit is everything Herve should be. The color is a gorgeous midnight/navy blue, really doesn't look black as it does in the picture. However, to me this was a plus. Love that it has sleeves, and the low cut front keeps it from looking covered up. If you are busty like I am, this dress is best kept for racier occasions (I was in Vegas) because it definitely shows off cleavage, no way around that. Photo is a little blurry, but the best I have. Nude pumps are perfect with the color, as is rose-gold if you're looking to accessorize. :)

The rose-gold color on the XS was entirely worn off, giving it the "naked dress" look, as it was just about exactly the color of my skin and skintight (as Herve is supposed to be). S fit ok, but was stretched out enough by previous wearers that it wasn't doing that Herve thing where it feels like magical spanx and you look like you lost 5 pounds overnight. Overall, a bit of a letdown, but still a nice dress. Probably better for someone with a darker skin tone.

I went with the other dress I rented, so my friend wore this one (on the left). She's normally a 6-8 so this definitely runs large - size down for sure. I wouldn't recommend this for large-busted girls, because when I tried it on, it shows EVERYTHING, it's so low-cut. However, as you can see, on my friend it looked fantastic. The little back straps are unfortunately hard to keep zipped, like some have mentioned. However, the overall Bond Girl sexiness of this dress more than overcomes its little issues!

The color and fabric of the dress was beautiful; not too heavy for being covered in sequins. However, the fit was a bit large and unflattering if you're busty/hourglass, so beware if you have those body types. I'm normally a 4 to 6, but even the 4 was really loose. The waist band rides up under your bust to create sort of an empire waist with the extra fabric below creating a pooch - not the shape most of us are going for, lol. That said, I'm sure it looks great on other girls.

I got the M as well, which fit okay, but found that the dress acted more like Spanx in the S, so I went with that one. The only issue with the fit of the S was that it definitely was tight in the chest, but I have a 34E-sized chest, so I'd imagine that girls who aren't super busty would fit great in it. Super-bonus: it made me look like I actually had something of a behind, which I totally don't!
