Received this since my original order was not available. Very fitted but nice cut/silhouette. a good all purpose dress

I have rented this dress twice because I love it so much. Fits like a glove. I am 5'11" and 135 lb. I wore it to a bachelorette party the first time and the second time I got it as a backup dress for a wedding (original dress I wanted to wear didn't fit quite right). Both times I wore it I felt super sexy. Definitely turned some heads. 

My boyfriend planned a nice dinner, and last minute I realized I wasn't happy with any of the dresses I owned.  My mom suggested I hop on RTR and I was actually able to find two dresses I liked for overnight shipping!  I knew I loved Elizabeth and James because of their fit, quality, and simplicity, so got this actually as my backup.  As soon as I zipped it up, I knew this was the dress I wanted to wear -- their dresses always make me look amazing and fit like they've been tailored to me!  Looks amazing in all of the photos of that amazing night, too!!!

It's very form fitting but a great, comfy dress!

I wear a size two and this dress definitely ran small and was a snug fit. It did hug my curves but if your planning on sitting or dancing a lot size up. It was a cute dress and I received compliments all night.

Such a great LBD!! Super flattering, simple yet fun, and could be dressed multiple ways. I didn't listen to the reviews and got my typical 4, and should have gotten the 6 so I didn't end up wearing it. At 5'3", 130 lbs and an hourglass shape, the 4 zipped but it was skin tight and I'm not sure I could have eaten in it. Do yourself a favor and get the next size up unlike myself! Will be ordering again in the 6!

I got this dress as a replacement and it was perfect. I do always find it frustrating when I can't wear a bra with dresses... but I made a strapless bra work. This dress was super slimming and it went perfectly with the necklace I rented as well. 

ALWAYS READ THE REVIEWS! Dress runs small so order the back up size just in case. It is great fabric, very slimming and holds everything in place. Perfect for a wedding, bachelorette party, night out on the town. 

Loved the fit. Nice material. True to size. Hard to keep the bottom leg part asymmetrical as shown (kept having to pull it down). Will 100% rent again. 

The only con is that its pretty tight around the legs.  Not a lot of room for taking big steps.  

Loved this racerback style, but it did run small. Even though it was right it's comfortable to sit & dance in - great LBD!

Rented this little black dress for my 21st birthday party and loved every minute in it! The material is stretchy and tight so it complimented my figure but still felt secured. 

I rented this dress for my birthday. I loved the style and felt fabulous in it. I was right in between a 2 and a 4. The 2 was a little too tight up top but fit great at the bottom, while the 4 fit great up top and slightly loose on the bottom. I ended up going with the 4 to be more comfortable since we went out to dinner that night. Overall, loved this dress! And my husband loved it as well! 

Felt like a million bucks. Loved how it made my shoulders look. Fit great around the back end. 

on a short notice realized i needed somehing to wear for a masquerade party for NYE, no issues with my order. I ordered a 2 & a 4, ended up wearing the 4 with no bra otherwise that would have made it probably impossible to zip and way to tight in the chest. Compressed the girls a little more than i prefer, but not sure if the 6 would have hugged my middle and bottom as much. Overall, i would rent it again, probably even buy! 

Like most EJ dresses this one ran small - but this one ran REALLY small. I'm usually a 6, an 8 in EJ and feel like I honestly could have tried a 10 in this style (if it was available). Had to pull it down a bunch during the wedding but overall loved how it looked. Didn't wear a bra. 

Oh man. Can I LIVE in this dress??? Perfect form fitting dress for a formal affair. Looks AMAZING on and was so comfortable. I didn't need a bra as the fit was snug and perfect. This is a re-rent for SURE. Do yourself a favor and if you are considering this dress RENT IT!!!

When I got this dress I was so excited to try it on. I saw a few comments saying that it was too small so I was kind of worried. I ordered a size 0 and I usually wear a small. It was somewhat tight but by no means was in uncomfortable. It looked great and I had a ton of compliments!

I rented this dress for a bachelorette party and it was perfect for the event. The material was comfy, but the fit was a tiny bit curvy for my athletic/straight body type. I typically wear a 4 and think I could've squeezed into a 2. There was plenty of material sticking out on my hips, but because the dress was black, I felt that it wasn't very visible. I highly recommend, but try sizing down if you're more narrow like me!

Super cute dress! But it ran really small. I had to keep pulling it down all night.

This dress feels amazing but definitely size up one size.  I fit in my typical size of 0, however I wouldn't have been able to dance so I went with the 2.  This dress felt great all night! Highly recommend! 

Loved this dress. Fits tightly, but pretty tts. I am pear shaped so it is more fitted in the hips, but the material is very thick and gives good support. I didn't need to wear a bra. 

The dress was very rigid, top to bottom. Not a lot of stretch. I read the reviews, and decided to size down. I'm usually a 2 if the dress is snug around the waist, but a 4 if it's hip/leg tight. This dress is very snug around the chest, hips, and legs. Definitely couldn't take long strides. It fit like a glove, and to be honest, if I went with the 4 I'm not sure if it would fit around my small chest (32A) as well. Overall, I really loved the dress and received many compliments. Love high necklines for my body type. Even a magic mike dancer asked me out; dress totally deserves the credit. Gave me a lot of confidence, so overall 4 stars. 

I love this brand! The dress ran a little small and was definitely snug. Material was thick and held everything in place nicely while revealing a nice shape. It was hard to dance in this dress because it was so form fitting but it looked great and I got so many compliments! 

Elizabeth and James dresses have become my favorite to rent. Love the thick material. Tight fitting but still looks classy. 

I felt so beautiful in this dress.  I thought it wasn't too much smaller then I usually run. I am a size 4, which could be a size 5 and I wore a size 6 because the size 4 was too tight on my awesome big booty. It was thick so it did not feel revealing.  I felt like I looked stunning but not too over the top. The dress came ready to wear.  I will be renting again. And this dress will not disappoint you!

The dress fits well. Does run small so I had to go a size up. Love the dress.  

I wore this to my friends' Vegas chapel vow renewal.  The hemline makes it a fun twist on an LBD. True to size but be prepared that it's meant to be body hugging!  Fit is really tight but material is thick so it holds you in I didn't need a bra. Accentuates all your curves!   The statement necklace I ordered from rtr didn't ship so I wore a simple gold lariat necklace and it worked out great.  Would rent again!

I loved this dress. Extremely flattering cut. I would definitely rent this again... the only this I would say-- if you are going dancing, you may want to forgo this one. There is no give in the skirt. You have to take small steps, so be prepared to walk slowly or scamper to catch up :)

Loved the dress! I am small on top and this dress was very tight around the chest! Other than that I loved the fit!

This was a re rent, I wish I could live in this dress! So flattering, doesnt ride up, tons of compliments, and its nice thick (but comfy!) material that smooths out anything you want to hide. It does run small so size up! 

This dress is very tight up top and the material is thick. It's a cool style for being a simple black dress but it tends to bunch up because it's asymmetric in the hem.
Overall though, I thought it looked good. 

Absolutely loved this dress- even more than expected. The fit was phenomenal and dare I say comfortable? Loved the neckline and the asymmetrical hemline. I didn't even have to wear a bra it is made of such a sturdy material. I don't understand other reviewers that said this ran 1-2 sizes small as I wore my usual 4 and didn't find it to be too snug. Perhaps if you are larger than a D cup or 5'8" + then there may be the need to size up. Otherwise I would choose your normal size. 

I absolutely adore this dress! I received tons of compliments. I felt effortlessly classy in this little black dress. Will defiantly consider renting again for any future events!

I don't normally wear form fitting dresses because my hips are curvy and I usually go with a-line dresses but this dress was so well made I felt beautiful and smooth and classy! I went up 2 sizes for this one!

This was my first RTR rental and I couldn't have been more pleased! I ordered a different E&J dress but it was only available in a 2 and similar to others comments it definitely ran small particularly on the top. So I called to do a trade and they were quickly able to send me this dress in a 4. The fit was great - felt super sexy all night. Very flattering with thick enough material to hold you in. Would definitely rent this again!
