Tate Gown

My favorite dress I wore from RTR to date. Runs a little large (I wore a size 4R and I’m typically a 6,8). So flattering!

I would size down, the material is very stretchy and the shoulder area is quite big. You don’t have to. But I think it would fit better. Still in love with this dress

This dress is beautiful. It gives 80s glam vibes but feels modern at the same time. I was thrown off by the shoulder pads at first (didn’t read the full description before renting) but ended up loving them. The dress is flattering in hourglass figures and would likely be very flattering on pear shapes also. The ruching and gathering down the skirt is so pretty. The jersey material is very comfty and forgiving and the dress is really easy to put on and take off (you don’t need help with the zipper).

I added this on a whim, but it was the most beautiful, and comfortable dress out of my selections. The compliments rolled in all evening. It is light weight, and the stretch was complementing for my shape.

Beautiful dress. I love the weight of the fabric. Things with this much stretch don’t usually have enough weight to hide dimples when they are form fitting, but this one does the trick. I got a ton of compliments. Only con would be that the waist is a little fussy and requires some adjustment to sit correctly.

This dress was so comfy and class for a fall wedding. It was warm too and so flattering.

Got lots of compliments! The shoulder pads are a fun touch - definitely a hair up dress! The ruching and stretchy material made it very flattering.

Wish it were a bit for fitted, but the fabric is very forgiving and favors curves

I wish I had more occasions to wear this as it fit like a dream and flowed like chocolate. I had a work event where the dress code was symphony soirée. No idea what that meant, but this fit the bill. The material is very soft and the skirt half isn’t too heavy. I wore the size 0 and the shoulder area (shoulder pads were doing work) and waist section were a little loose (25” waist), but given how form fitting everything else was it didn’t look big and the proportions were perfect. I’m 5,6” and wore 3” heels with the dress, which I thought was the right height; the dress didn’t drag and flowed nicely.

Great for, most comfortable dress I’ve worn for a black tie event!

I wore this to a gala and received many compliments. It’s unique and the perfect length for us shorter girlies. Rent it!

The only downside was the rather chunky shoulder pads. But otherwise, this was the perfect dress for a very upscale wedding in DC.

Gorgeous dress. I probably would have fit better in the 8 with the way the material is double layered and stretched. I went with the 10 because I wasn’t sure on how stretchy it would be. It worked perfectly. Would definitely rent again.

Perfect fall wedding guest dress. So many compliments. Material is very stretchy I probably could have fit in the 4L as the 6 was loose in waist/hips l. Im 5’ 10 and have a 34 DDD chest and no problem zipping up 6. I wore 2” pointed toe sling backs and dress didn’t drag or look too short. It is such a comfortable dress highly recommend, it’s stunning!

I’m between a 10 and a 12, so I sized down to a 10 and it was perfect! This dress is STUNNING - it’s snug in all the right places, has gathers in all the right places. I got so many compliments - will absolutely be renting this dress again!

Received a lot of compliments. Rouching is flattering to the midsection. I thought the material would be heavy, but it wasn't too bad. Would rent again.

I have a very short torso so went with the XS petite and it was perfect. Comfortable and fabulous dress.

This is the best thing I’ve rented from RTR for gala events. I am 5’10 with broad shoulders and usually stay far away from shoulder pads, but these give the top just enough structure and hit at exactly the right place. I got a ton of compliments from people I’d never met. It is comfortable and the drape on the bottom is elegant and easy to walk in. 10/10.

10 weeks pregnant with our 3rd so look 20 weeks hahaha, but this was perfect, comfy, stretchy! Only thing was it was super long, wish I got a short

Lovely and unique for Fall event. Love color combo. Shoulder pads felt a little awkward but it worked well.

I wanted so badly to love this! I wouldn’t mind the shoulder pads But they were huge and stood up high causing a gap between the fabric and my shoulders.

Fit is so flattering!! Loved the thick fabric and the beautiful fit. Fun strong shoulders (not too much IMO)

Don’t let the shoulder pad warning scare you away from this dress! I’m 5’9 150lbs and the 6L was perfect. I could have worn the 4L too, but the 6L was just smidge more comfortable. I got so many compliments.

I would buy this dress if it weren't so expensive, but it has reason to be just that. It feels and looks expensive when you wear it. It compliments curves well and also helps cover any little pooch. The shoulder pads felt like a lot at first, but once I fixed my hair, it was perfect. Would rent again and was complimented all night!

Ordered this and wasn't sure if it would be cool or weird depending on where the waist hit, but it was super chic. Rented this 2x for different black tie weddings and got tons of compliments. I am 5'11"+ so definitely tall girl friendly if you get the Long.

Almost felt like a leotard-type material; stretchy but not skin tight. Very comfortable. Shoulder pads are cute. Great for a fall event. If in between sizes, go down.

Felt amazing and oh so sexy!

The fit wasn't the best for my body type, but the dress itself was well made, gorgeous and for the right body (no belly) it would be stunning! I ended up looking pregnant which was not my jam.
