I was worried about the cut outs being too "much" for a wedding, but the length of the dress and the top keep it classy, and the cut outs really were not that large. The blue underlay is even better in person. I usually wear either a 6 or an 8, but I didn't even try on the 6 because in the 8 there was a little extra room and it fit comfortably. Would definitely rent again!!

I think the dress ran small, and has no stretch, so it was a little tight around my hip area. It was short on my (I am 5'10") but I had on black opaque tights so it wasn't an issue but I don't know that I could've worn it without tights!

Really loved this DVF. Easy, comfortable fit, although it did feel a little short (I am 5'10") but with black tights it was no problem. The fit was a little off, and it flared out a lot more than on the model picture (I am a size 6, which i wore, but the size 4 was unavailable and probably would have been better). I got MANY compliments on the dress, and it looked great with a bright necklace. Although the dress is form-fitting, it wasn't "tight" and the fabric actually has a lot of stretch to it and was very comfortable. If getting a backup size, I would size down (this was my 2nd dress, so I only got it in a 6 but I think a 4 would have been fine as well). Would rent this one again!

The dress runs very large and gave no shape (as it is very straight cut). I would have needed it cinched in at the waist to be able to wear it without feeling huge. RTR was great about my return and offered to overnight the 4, but bad a daytime wedding that it may not have arrived in time. This dress was even better in person--- the lace details and leather trim was beautiful!! I wore to an evening November wedding, and with black tights and black shoes it looked great. I easily gave the dress 5 stars based on how much i loved it, but the fit was not perfect on me. I am tall (5'10) and thin, and have wide hips--- normally, I wear a size 6. After reading the reviews I decided to order the 6, and 8 as a backup, which I am glad I did! The dress has NO STRETCH whatsoever, so I could barely get the 6 over my hips/butt area, and was very tight once on. I could have squeezed into the 6 and been mildly uncomfortable all night, so I went with the 8 which had extra room but was a bit baggy in the stomach/armpit/shoulder area but fit my bottom half better :) I was concerned the dress might be too short on a taller girl, but especially with the 8, it was not even close to be "too short". Whole RTR experience was great -- got dress on time and so easy to send back after the weekend!
