I wore this dress to a festival at my church in early December - because the fabric is pretty thick, I definitely recommend this dress only for colder months. I paired it with black tights as well, more so to be warm since the dress isn't too short or anything. It was very comfortable and I got a lot of compliments on the color/design! I ordered a 0 and a 2 and wore the 0 - overall I'd say it's true to size, if not runs a little big. The fabric is also forgiving since it's thicker and doesn't "suction" to all the wrong places. I didn't have to worry about a thing the whole night wearing it!

Wore to an office Christmas party.  The soft lighting in my apartment does not do the dress justice, the lines were slimming for a new mom.

I wore this to a baby shower brunch - I loved the longer sleeves and the thick material of the dress.  I wouldn't have rented this for a night out because of the thickness of the dress but for a cool fall afternoon event it was great. Very flattering dress as well.  Only thing I wasn't crazy about was how loose the bottom part of the sleeves were but that's it!

Pros - Warm, comfortable fabric; great construction; slimming fit and shape.

Cons - Wide sleeves, too long on the skirt (I am 5'0'')

Unfortunately, this dress did not look as party-attire as I thought it would. The sleeves were not fitted at all, and made it look too casual or too formal. I ended up wearing this dress as a casual holiday outfit.

I really wanted to love this dress, but I just didn't.  It was sorta of baggy on me and didn't hug the curves the way I thought it would.  Plus you must wear a chunky necklace to complete this outfit, which I failed to do.  Rented it for Thanksgiving, it's a great fall dress, just wasn't for me.

I had this dress on my wish list because I thought it would be great to wear for a work event.  When I saw it was $20.14 to rent, so I figured I'd give it a try.  I planned to wear it to brunch with friends the Sunday after Christmas.  I tried on the 8 first, which is my usual size.  It fit comfortably in the hips, but the top was practically falling off my shoulders, and I had inches of extra fabric under my boobs.  Since the fabric is stretchy, I tried on the 6.  It was tighter in the hips and still very large up top.  I tried belting it and tucking the excess fabric under the belt.  I still didn't think it looked good and opted not to wear it at all.  The sleeves are much wider than they look on the model.  The pros are that this dress has thick, high quality fabric, and I think the color-blocking would have been flattering on my shape if it fit.  In fact, I would absolutely buy a dress like this and get it altered to fit me for work events.  It has a really beautiful, unique look.  This dress would look good on someone straight and narrow or someone with an hourglass figure (belted).  It is not good for pear shapes or someone with narrow shoulders and narrow rib cage.  

Sent this one right back. Bad fit and the sleeves were huge.  

Very stretchy material fits very well!  It was a bit big in my waist but it still looked good.  It was also shorter than I am used to.  

I bought this dress from the RTR clearance sale and extremely happy I did. This dress has as amazing fit. The material is thick enough so that Spanx are not needed but not too heavy where you get hot. I have a larger chest and it fit perfect. I do agree with the other reviewers that the sleeves are big. They are only big in the gray part, nothing a quick tailoring can't fix. 

Curve hugging fit and great to accent/emphasize an hourglass figure. When worn with hose, dress and built in slip did not ride up. Hit mid thigh for me at 6' tall. 

Loved this dress, fits snug and hugs all your curves. I would not wear this on a hot Texas evening date. However for the 60 degree weather it was wonderful. Sorry no picture, but I would totally recommend. 

I wore this for our family thanksgiving dinner with tights and booties. It was an incredibly comfortable dress. I'm normally a size 8 and definitely could've worn the size 8, but decided on the 10 (just to give myself some breathing room since I was about to have a feast).

Overall great dress, would probably rent again. Some notes: Definitely needs an accent necklace. I didn't have any issues with the sleeves being too large, but then again I have an athletic build so that may be why. Also- the dress did slide up quite a bit, but not too much that it was annoying.

This was a nice dress for a winter concert I attended. The material was fairly heavy. I think the dress runs pretty true to size, but I sized up because I felt a more relaxed and less fitted look was more appropriate for a somewhat more conservative event. This dress isn't flashy by any means, but it's a decent, understated option.

I wore this dress to my friends wedding. It worked out great because it wasn't too short. Also the colors for this dress were great. I wore grey heels to go with the sleeves and recieved plenty of compliments.

The fabric is really thick. like good for fall, no coat, kind of thick. So obviously it hugged every curve. but it was cute, I got it as a trial and I don't think I would order it. 

Nothing beats a well-made dress!  This dress wasn't my favorite but I couldn't complain.  It fit well in all the right places.

Runs true to size and true to photo (minus that this photo doesn't show how flared the sleeves truly are). Mid-weight material, good for colder weather with tights and boots etc. With all the options on RtR though, I would advise you to choose a more interesting dress.

I ordered a 10 for my backup size since the fit looked snug. I could have gone with either size - the 10 wasn't much bigger - except for the sleeves. They were really wide, not fitted like the smaller size on the model pictured. Since the fabric is so thick, it just looked odd. I ended up folding the gray part underneath. Besides that, the dress is super hot!

This dress was really nice looking before I put it on.  The fabric is really thick and the dress looks well-made and high end.  Unfortunately, the sleeves were HUGE and looked funny with the rest of the form-fitting dress, so I couldn't wear it.  Might be good if your arms are bigger or you have especially broad shoulders - otherwise, I'd avoid.

I tried this dress on as part of my At Home Trial. The dress itself was of great quality and nice, stretchy material. The dress is not as slender as pictured. It has a wider profile and seemed much longer, though still hitting above the knee. The sleeves are especially wide, and I have thin arms.  The chest seemed tighter than the hips on me, so this dress could work for a pear shape. I would recommend trying your usual size plus 1 size up for fitting.

Super awkard sleeves on this dress -- looks great on the model, but like the other reviewers said, it just leaves a lot to be desired.  Still love RTR, and was glad to be able to get credits for another fab dress in the future. 

I think this dress was made of neoprene which I was definitely NOT expecting. It bunched in a weird way at the waist, but the worst part was the sleeves!! I do not have skinny arms by any means, but they were swimming in the sleeves of this dress, and the stiff fabric made my arms and shoulders look huge! Sorry RTR, but this one was not a winner for me.

I felt like a dolphin trainer in this dress. And take note, because this is coming from someone who *loves* to wear form-fitting sheath dresses in thicker fabrics. The sleeves are really weird and ginormous... definitely not the cute, well-fitting cuffs the promotional photos would lead you to believe. Plus the fabric, which I was expecting to love, contributes to the SCUBA suit look. I seriously tried it on, looked at myself in the mirror, laughed, and put it back in the bag. The waist fit OK, though, so there's that? Major bummer, the colors and colorblock design are gorgeous on the model!

I rented this for a wedding I was invited to. I ordered a size 10 and a size 12. They both fit so horribly that they were unwearable, and I was left scrambling the morning of the wedding to find something to wear. The 10 was too tight around the waist, but while the 12 fit around, it was so baggy in the sleeves and around the neckline that it looked ridiculous. I would not recommend this unless you look like the model wearing it. I wish I could give it zero stars.

I have to 100% agree with the other reviewers who pointed out the incredibly weird sleeves on what would otherwise be a stunning dress.  I rented this dress for a business event, and did not even wear it.  Everything fit beautifully in the bodice, the length, color, and quality of the fabric were to die for.... but the gigantic sleeves made the dress absolutely un-wearable.  I am a very typical size 0, and I tend to go for dresses that run small.  The sleeves on this dress were literally 3 times the size of my arm at the opening!  Suffice it to say, this dress in real life looks nothing like the photo on the model.  Picture those sleeves looking more like oversized bell-bottoms, and that would be a more accurate depiction.  I own quite a few Tracy Reese garments because her stuff typically runs very small and I typically love the cut/quality, but this dress is just a rare huge mis-step for the designer and for RTR.  I was very disappointed with this one, so heed the reviewer warnings!  

I really liked this dress except for the sleeves which were not as form fitting as I would have hoped.  The material is thick and made nice, but there seemed to be too much material around the sleeves for a bulky feel.
