Wore this dress to a wedding at 28 weeks and the size 6 was perfect to accommodate the bump! Pre-pregnancy I was typically around a size 2, depending on the fit of the dress. The only caveat to this one is I'd recommend fashion taping the pockets closed if you're wearing for maternity, because the belly makes them gape open. Also there is some stretch to the fabric but not a ton, so size up when in doubt. Really loved this dress and received lots of complements!

Honestly this dress was an absolute winner for my birthday on the town. I read through other comments about sizing and picked the 8 as my size and 10 as a backup. The color is gorgeous and the style is classic. Downside is that unless you're pretty comfortable and confident, you'll immediately notice that each and every lump or bump on your body is highlighted. I'd plan to wear Spanx or other shapewear for smoothness. I'm usually a 4 in dresses, but the 6 was the right side for my hips/butt in this dress, unfortunately that meant gaping/too large in the chest (my 32A didn't get close to filling out the dress). However, even if you're small-chested, the boning in the dress holds it up. I'm 5'7" and the Long was too long on me with 3" heels. I'd go for the Regular next time.

Let me start by saying that the style and color of this dress is amazing. The real downside is the fit. I'm a 32A on top, and usually wear size 4 dresses/size 27 jeans, and the 6R dress was perfect for me in the hips/butt and MASSIVE on top in the boobs (to where the dress wouldn't even stay up). On top of that, had a quality issue with the 4R that I was shipped, but I don't know whether that one would've fit in the hips/butt anyway. Definitely size up for your backup, and if you're small on top, medium/large on bottom, this may not be the dress for you.

I can definitely see this dress becoming a majorly popular rental, because it was so well-priced for such a unique high-quality dress. Great choice for an event from casual all the way to semi-formal. The real downside of this dress is that because it is so popular and has been worn so many times, you can see the wear much more than the average RTR piece. Additionally, as many other reviews have mentioned, the odd plastic-y underlining of the skirt gets really messed up in-transit and has to be ironed to not flip up and scrunch up. Fortunately, a medium-temp ironing sorts it out, just plan on having one available to you. I usually wear a 2 in dresses, and the 0 was perfect for me. Go with your regular size and size down for backup. Wore without a bra or stickies, which worked perfectly for my small chest. Overall, got tons of complements and felt amazing in this piece.

Loved this skirt as a statement piece for our annual family photos. Sizing is based on whether you want to wear high-waisted (true to size, or size down), or at the natural waist or hips/low waist (true to size, or size up). I went with my usual size in pants/skirts (4) and sized down to a 2 for backup. Ended up in the 2 with my lightweight blouse, but wore the 4 with my chunky sweater tucked in for extra room. Also recommend planning to iron - the hem comes flipped up in the wrong direction. Quick iron on it and it's good to go.

Awesome dress for the price, but due to high volume of rentals, some dresses are clearly very worn. I rented the 2 and the 4 - the 2 had what appeared to be a heel hole punched through the lace on the lower back side of the dress, and the 4 had a super messed up plastic lining, that was not able to be ironed/flattened out. Fortunately the 2 fit and the hole wasn't that noticeable, because the 4 would have been unwearable with the lining. Good news was that I didn't need to wear a bra as a 32A. Other good news was that for the price, this dress is a stunner and is definitely both wedding appropriate and still attractive. Highly recommend this dress, but be prepared for quality control issues with this one.

Didn't end up wearing this dress because it was almost impossible to fit my head through the head hole - yikes! If you have a medium or larger sized head and are trying to fit into a size 4 or 2, don't try! Super disappointed because the beading is gorgeous. The fit of this dress is awkward - very tight in the rib cage and too much fabric on the liner in the boobs (for a small chest, 32A). Pro of this dress is that it's a low-priced rental, and the color is gorgeous. It's a deep cranberry / light burgundy depending on the light. However, it looks like a cheaper dress due to the adjustable straps and the extra fabric on the liner. I am typically a 2-4 in dresses and have a size 32A chest and the small barely zipped up my chest, so size up for your first size and size up double for your backup.

The dress fit true to size - I am 5'7" with a 32A chest around 130lbs and I wore the size 4 which fit perfectly. You can wear a standard bra with this dress, but I elected for strapless just in case. The fabric and colors are gorgeous, but the type of fabric apparently pills very easily because both my original size 4 and the second size 4 that RTR Customer Service sent me were noticeably quite pilled. Fortunately the print is very busy and mostly hid the pilling, but it was disappointing since I expect RTRs to be mostly new-looking. Overall, I love this silhouette and this brand, but the pilled fabric would turn me off to renting this particular dress again.

I agree with all other reviewers in that this is an awesome maxi dress and is perfect for family photos! I loved that it had sleeves and a high-waist. It also has slits on either side up to about the knee, making it much easier to walk in. Length was perfect on me in flats (I'm 5'7"). Both the size 4 and size 6 fit, but I ended up wearing the 4 because it fit better on my small chest, even though it was a bit snug in the waist. If I were wearing this to a wedding where I'd want to save room for food and drinks, I would've worn the 6. I ended up wearing a strapless bra, but a regular bra can be worn too! This was the perfect dress for an outdoor Fall wedding! I ordered the 2 and the 4 and the four fit perfectly. The length is great - the asymmetrical hem adds a ton of interest and doesn't give into the dowdy look that some midi dresses have. Fabric is super high quality and the cranberry/black combo is gorgeous. Be careful zipping and unzipping, as the zipper tends to catch the lace. I will mention that when you sit down, the higher side of the hem is pretty short, so be cautious if you are as tall or taller than me. Additionally, I have a small chest and the top of the dress fit snug, so I could definitely see this being tight up top on someone with a larger chest. First off, another win for RTR customer service, who overnighted me this dress after my first option didn't work out. I was nervous because there was only an XS left but no small, so I didn't get a backup size. Fortunately as other reviews state, this dress runs large, so the XS was great! I am small-chested with medium hips/booty and the top fit perfectly! It was slightly big in the waist and hips, but just made the dress look more like a structured shift instead of really hugging you close - didn't detract from the dress at all. The fabric and detailing with the black crochet overlay is completely gorgeous and stunning. The length is just short enough to be sexy and just long enough to be okay to wear to a church wedding. I wore a strapless bra with the dress, and that worked out perfectly. The dress is sort of cut-in on the shoulders, so I think you'd need a racerback or strapless bra with this one. Overall, loved this dress and thought it was gorgeous - received many compliments. Would definitely size down and make sure to have a strapless or racerback bra on hand.

Received this dress after my original choice was returned damaged beyond repair by the previous renter (so sad!!). I didn't have as high of hopes for this option, but since it was only 6 days out from the event, I had very limited choices. I have a really small chest and medium/large booty/hips, so this was not very flattering on me - showed every detail of the tummy/hips/booty and de-emphasized the little chest that I do have. Fabric was very thick/had a small amount of stretch to it - felt like a bodycon dress and I was not a fan of the fabric. Also made it very hard to walk/move due to the minimal stretch in the fabric coupled with the below-the-knee length. All in all, this would be a good dress for a fancy date night (with no dancing), or a dressy cocktail party. Out of the three dresses I've rented for pre-wedding events so far, this one was my least favorite. However, the other two dresses were complete perfection, so this dress had a lot to live up to. This was still a great choice for an engagement party or bridal shower, it just didn't feel quite as high-quality (fabric-style) as others that I've rented from RTR. It's hard to tell in the photos, but its actually sort of a quilted fabric, which adds some nice detail.
