Wore this dress to dinner with family. It's comfortable & classy. Upper waist line is accented so gives you really nice shape and is flattering.

It's not too low cut and the length was good for me, I am 5'11". It could be too long if you are under 5'0"



Rented for my Bridal Tea. It was perfect very flattering . Fit perfectly, paired with a bootie for the 40 degree weather but would be great in summer with a wedge.   Wish I would purchase this because all of my guests loved it 

True to size. Comfortable and flows nicely. So pretty and feminine. It is an exact fit around the the rib cage with no give-zipped right up with no effort. If you like a more relaxed fit size up. 

It was more form fitting in torso. Slimming. Very matronly. I liked the sleeves.

As many others have, I rented this dress for a family portrait session.  While the session ended up being rescheduled, we still took some photos on our own since I had the dress already.  It is flattering and flowy, with the waistband hitting right at my natural waist and then skimming away to create a lovely silhouette.  The print photographs beautifully and I can see why so many have rented it for portraits! I will definitely be renting it again for our rescheduled session.  At 5'4", I wore wedges (about 2.5-3") and didn't have to worry about the dress dragging on the ground.  I think this dress would also be lovely for a spring event, and maybe summer if it's not too hot.

One of my favorite rentals! Wore it for Easter Sunday. Wish I had rented it for one of my bridal showers last year. If you are hourglass shaped, this dress is very flattering. Flattering fit around waist but room for wide hip. Will rent this again.

I rented this dress for professional family photos. Photographed great! My daughter was 4 months at the time so it sufficiently hid the problem areas. I couldn't raise my arms above my head (the fabric and bust band had no stretch) but that didn't matter for this purpose. 

Wore this lovely dress for our family photos. It fit  just right and was exactly what I was looking for; a modest feminine dress. I just adored the style of this dress! I felt ultra confident wearing this & was thrilled with how it photographed. I would absolutely rent this dress again for work or parties. #mompower 

I rented this dress for our engagement photos and loved it! I am 5'9'' and  normally wear a size 8 for dresses but wore the 10 for the photo shoot as it runs a tiny but small around the waist. It looked so pretty in the photos. I want to buy it! Beautiful, simple dress.  

I am 5'5 and wore with sandles. I have a lager chest and it fit great. I feel great in this dress, enough to consider buying it. Also looks great with a Jean dress. I wore it to work, a bridal shower and on the weekend. 

I rented this dress for a family photo session.  I am on the shorter side so I was nervous about the length but with heels it was fine and I wasn't doing much walking around which helped also.  I wore my normal size and it fit well.  If you don't want to be overly formal but need to look nice for a special occasion this dress is perfect, it also looks great in pictures.  

I am 26 weeks pregnant and couldn't zip it up completely - so great for early pregnancy, probably not 3rd trimester though unless you size up. 

This dress was perfect for Easter. The 4 was unavailable, so I rented a size 2 and a 6. The waist band was a little small, so I opted for the 6. But the 4 probably would have been perfect. Really great quality!

This dress has it all. It's a bit conservative, but with the v neck and slit down the sides, it allows for a lot of movement, which is gorgeous when photographed. The dress is very comfortable! My favorite part about this dress was that it was fitted-- but still with the comfort and flow of a maxi dress. Would 10/10 purchase this dress!

I rented this dress for our annual family photos. This dress is a gorgeous fabric however there is no stretch or give. I felt that it was very tight in the arms so I decided to wear my backup size which was a 10. It didn't feel so suffocating then the 8 did. Overall I am so happy with this rental 

This is the perfect spring dress. The fit was perfect and I felt so comfortable in it. It is beautiful in photos and in person. I loved it even more than I expected.

I liked this dress, but I didn't LOVE it... although it photographed beautifully for my engagement photos. I am close to 5'5" and even wearing my tallest wedges, the size 2R was still a little too long. The neckline was a little too low for me as well; I had to keep pulling it back up. Other than that, it fit great.

I agree with all other reviewers in that this is an awesome maxi dress and is perfect for family photos! I loved that it had sleeves and a high-waist. It also has slits on either side up to about the knee, making it much easier to walk in. Length was perfect on me in flats (I'm 5'7"). Both the size 4 and size 6 fit, but I ended up wearing the 4 because it fit better on my small chest, even though it was a bit snug in the waist. If I were wearing this to a wedding where I'd want to save room for food and drinks, I would've worn the 6. I ended up wearing a strapless bra, but a regular bra can be worn too! LOVED this dress and wish I owned it, because it'd be a perfect summer maxi. Highly recommend!

Wore this for family photos, the 4R probably fit better and would have been my choice for a wedding or other adult event, but being slightly more fitted and wrangling my 6mo old daughter, the much baggier 6R felt like a better choice for me and my situation. The dress photographs beautifully and is well enough lined that it's not sheer (I wore a black bra and it wasn't noticeable). Light and breathable (and overshare here, if any other new mamas are looking to rent, the side zip works for breastfeeding!).

I had my eye on this dress for months! I'm typically an 8 in dresses, mostly because my hips are bigger than my bust. I ordered the 8 and 10. Both fit to varying degrees. As most reviewers state: the midsection is tight, with the waist seam hitting either across my ribs or, if I hiked it up a little, snug against my bra band. Both the 8 and the 10 had extra material above the waist-seam, blousing the top more than I expected, both front and back. I was surprised by this, especially since there is no blousing whatsoever on the model pictures but I'm super thankful for the pictures by other reviewers to know I wasn't alone in this and that the dress would still look good even with the extra blousing. (Shout out to Adrienne who had a similar review; you looked beautiful in your picture!) The zipper was a bit harder to zip on the 8 than the 10. I didn't need to raise my arms much but did try since others stated there wasn't much room. It's true; you can't do the YMCA comfortably but you do have movement.
The dress, though, is beautiful, relatively light and lined the full length.  I rented this for my birthday; intending to wear it for dinner and a movie. I spent the day wearing the 8 around the house trying to decide weather a tighter midsection or an insanely bloused top (from the 10) would be better. I ended up wearing the 8. I wouldn't rent again, though, because the waist/midsection is just not right for my body type and I was disappointed with the blousing.

Rented this for the second time for my engagement photos and it was just perfect. Fits mostly true to size. I'm typically a 6 and the 6 was snug in my rib cage so I opted for the 8 just for comfort. Received so many compliments literately just walking down the street. 

I rented this for a morning wedding. It was wonderful. The dress fit perfect (I do have a narrow rib cage and wore 3 inch heals). The dress flows beautifully when you walk and the colors are just right. 

I loved the look of the dress, but I don't think it worked 100% for my body type. I'm smaller on top and fuller in the hips—pear shape—and didn't like how fitted the middle and hips are while the top was very blouson and flowing, almost too much so. I'm 5'7" and the length was too short for heels, so I paired it with sandals.  It is very pretty and modest and worked great for an anniversary date to a casual place in town, but I won't rent again myself. Too fitted in the hips for absolute comfort.

I wore this for an engagement shoot and loved it even more than my gown ! It moves with you and keeps you cool. Loved it ! Runs small though if you are busty. I'm a 32 dd. So I sized up 1. 

I rented this for family photos. I loved the soft blue color- it was perfect for an mix of neutrals and blues. It was a little long for my 5'3 frame but I wore wedges. The sleeves made it look a lot more modest but it was fitted in the waist. Loved t! 

True to size but as others have mentioned no stretch in waist. Felt light as a feather wearing it! Very classy and pretty.  Good length for my height. 

I wore this to some wedding tastings, a wine tasting, and my birthday dinner. The dress is a decent length (I am a hair under 6ft), and fitted at the waist. It was perfectly snug around my ribcage, and accentuated my waist. Definitely an RTR favorite, and recommended for tall, hourglass women.

The fit was true to size. It was so flattering, the sleeves were not tight on my biceps but just right. I LOVED the way the dress flowed with the wind and how my waist felt tiny. I want to buy this one for sure.

I LOVE this dress! I wore it for my engagement photos as many other renters have...for good reason! This dress photographs like a dream...it's airy and feminine with enough visual interest to stand out in photographs. I was stopped by several strangers because they liked it as well. I am usually a size 4 and that's what I wore, however, I preferred the length of the 6 better. I ended up wearing flats with the 4. The waist did get a little tight after several hours wearing it and a full meal with several drinks but other than that, the fit is very flattering. 

Gorgeous amazing dress! It looks fabulous on and felt like I was gliding on air. Will rent again. 

Such a pretty dress, wish I could own it! The dress is a little funky in the fit, if you have broad shoulders or work out, you'll feel it's a little tight in the upper part. The waistline has no give, I'd recommend going up in size for the back up. This dress did everything I wanted and our pictures looked great! 

I have now rented this dress twice! Once for a seaside spring wedding, then a second time for a graduation and date night. Based on others' reviews, I ordered a 4R, which fit perfectly. The dress does not stretch, but zipped easily; I measure 28" at the waist. The fitted waist is accentuated by the blousing of the bodice. The subtle gathering detail on the sleeves is beautiful, and the dress is fully lined (to the floor, ladies!) which I love and feel is less and less common in dresses these days. The photos don't do it justice! This dress floats and flows when you walk, and is comfortable in hot or cool temperatures. While it is neither cheap nor sheer, I'd recommend that your foundation garments match your skin tone. In my photo I'm wearing flats, but tried the dress with heels and the hem came just to my ankle. Highly recommend! 



I loved this dress however I would have probably been more comfortable in a 10R. (They did not have it available as a back up size) The 8R fit but was tight around the rib cage and in my arms. The dress was also surprisingly long. I am 5'10" and it landed right at my sandals so nothing dragged and it didn't look too short. 

This dress is SO pretty.  I could have take a really flattering picture if I had turned to an angle.  HOWEVER knowing you don't always have the perfect angle in a crowd, I took it like this.  It almost gives the appearance of shoulder pads.  I don't mind wearing conservative clothes and that is how I probably feel most comfortable, but this dress looked almost like a costume in how conservative it looked.  I think with my long hair down, that emphasized the feel.  It is pretty, and the size was right, but it wasn't a good fit for me.
