Ivory Scarlett Dress

This was a backup to a nude reem acra dress that wasn't the right color for me. Loved how this turned out in pictures though was a little off in fit in the back and there was some wear to it. If I didn't have such a big chest I think i could have fit in the 6. So if you're smaller up top you probably can wear your usual size.

I wore this dress for my bridal shower and loved it!! Perfect fit, and gorgeous material. I couldn't recommend this dress more!!

Wore it for my rehearsal dinner and got so many compliments! The 8 was a little tight through my chest so I went with the 10. Would highly recommend it! My favorite rental so far.

My eyes are closed, but this is the best picture I have of my dresses. It was so beautiful and fit perfect. RTR sent me this because the other one I rented didn't fit. Fabulous customer service, as always. I thought it was true to size, but maybe size down for the backup dress if you're short.

After being extremely disappointed with my first dress that came, the customer services represented worked with me to pick out a new dress for my Bridal Shower. He overnight this dress and though I was not as excited for this dress as my first, I am so glad the first dress didn't work out! This dress was beautiful and fit the theme of my shower perfectly. I was nervous from reading the other reviews that the lace would be shorter than the lining, but I just remember to pull the lace down every time I got up. I have a small upper half and so it was a little big, but nothing a padded bra couldn't fix. I'm very happy for the way things turned out!

Fit perfectly. I'm 5'11" so it was a little on the shorter side. My only issue was that I had to pin the slip underneath so it didn't stick out below the bottom of the dress. Received so many compliments...I couldn't have worn a better dress for my bridal shower!

I typically wear a 4 and ordered a 4 and 6 in the dress. I wore the 4 and the fit was perfect! This dress would be perfect for anything wedding related! #ItsaWARNERfulLife!

Fit true to size, very well made. The liner is a little longer than the lace overlay but it wasn't noticeable. I wore beige flats and pearl earrings; I wanted to keep it simple and let the dress shine on its own. Great dress for any wedding event!

Form fitting, but comfortable and easy to move in. Enough padding, didn't need to wear a bra. Everyone, especially my groom, loved this dress!

Fit really well. Worn for my Engagement Party. Lots of compliments. Received both the 0 & 2 and could have worn either. Went with the 0 for a tighter fit.

I wore this to my bridal shower! I thought this dress fit really well and true to size. I was a little annoyed that the slip of the dress kept coming out when I was sitting down to open presents, but that was a minor thing, really. Many people complimented me and couldn't believe I rented it!! I highly recommend this dress for bridal showers, rehearsal dinner, any wedding function for a bride to be :)

This classy dress was perfect for my outdoor wedding rehearsal. It was elegant and the lace detail was so beautiful! The dress is very fitting and comes with its own corset type thing so I didn't even have to wear a bra. It was easy to move in, but just a little too long for my petite build. I would highly recommend this dress to any bride-to-be!

I had THE hardest time finding the perfect dress for my engagement party. I came across this dress on RTR and thought it would fit my body perfect, and I was right! For someone who's very busty on top, and thinner on the bottom, this was perfect, as it lifted and shaped my figure. I will agree with the other comments that the slip underneath runs longer than the beautiful embellished lace, but with heels, you're good. Only thing I didn't like was the built in corset. There are some pictures of me where you can see the bottom of the corset popping through the dress. Otherwise, definitely recommend this to all shapes and sizes!

Absolutely loved this dress! It was perfect for my at home wedding. Everything about the process was so easy!! Beyond happy with everything. I felt so beautiful and so many people asked where it was from.

I loved this dress! It was perfect for my wedding rehearsal. The dress was comfortable and appropriate for rehearsal in a church. The details at the top of the dress have it a great bridal feel. I would rent this dress again because it made me feel so beautiful and "bride-like"

I rented the 6 and 8 and went with the 6. Pro: Perfect Bridal Shower dress! Great for full bust, didn't need a bra. Con; when the dress arrived the lace detail did not lay correctly and I had to take to the dry cleaner to get pressed. It was great after that! As others have mentioned, the inner slip was too long.

I wore this dress for our rehearsal and grooms dinner for our wedding. Shoshanna has always been a good designer for me because I have larger hips and a smaller waist. This fit me perfectly! The built in bra was great. Like the other reviews said, the hem did show under the lace so I just pinned it up. The dress was super comfortable, didn't ride up at all. And at 5'7" it was the perfect length. I paired this with a Kate Spade sparkly gold clutch from RTR and got compliments all night long!

I loved this dress! I normally wear a 4 but went down to a 2. I find that Shoshanna dresses run a little big though.

This was my first rent the runway experience And I am hooked!! The dress made Me look and feel exactly how I wanted to for my bridal shower. It fit perfectly and was a classic dress. The only con was the bottom detail was hidden from the longer lining. Loved this dress!!

I ordered this dress to wear for my wedding reception, it was the perfect selection. It looks gorgeous in pictures but looks so much more gorgeous In person, I received so many compliments!!! The dress is very true to size, I normally wear a 10 and that is the one that fit the best. The material is very light and overall the dress was comfortable and I didn't have to wear a bra with it as there was a built in one. The only con would be that the lining was a little longer than the lace (I just tucked under the bra part and it fixed the problem!) Overall, I am very happy that is is the dress I chose, excellent first experience with RTR! :-)

This dress was amazing- even better than I expected it to be. Both sizes I ordered (4 & 6) fit very well and I actually wore them both, the 4 for the ceremony and the 6 out to dinner that night. I got so many compliments and felt like such a bride. I would recommend this dress to anyone looking for the perfect wedding dress to feel beautiful and elegant. It was both sexy and sophisticated - long enough almost to my knees and covered up top but sheer enough to feel pretty. I am 5'10, 133 pounds and fit great. Will definitely be renting from rent the runway again. The whole experience could not have gone any better!! Thanks rtr!!

This dress was amazing! I wore it as a bridesmaids dress and really felt amazing all night. I got so many compliments. i was afraid it was going to be too short on me since I'm 5'10 and was wearing a size 2 with heels, but it wasn't at all. It was fine for dancing, no flashing!

The dress fit very well. It has a built in corset which made the dress even better! I couldn't have been happier with the whole experience.

I really enjoyed wearing this dress and got a ton of compliments. I wore it to my first bridal shower and it really made me feel like a bride - I loved the lace detailing and the fit was comfortable throughout the event - sitting, standing, even hugging. The length was perfect for me (I'm 5'2 and it fell right above the knee) It is loose around the stomach - so if you are looking for a tighter dress you may want to size down The slip does show, but I didn't find it to be a big deal - overall a classy and elegant dress, perfect for an engagement party or bridal shower!

I loved this dress! I got numerous compliments throughout the night. The fit was very flattering and it's a perfect summer dress for any special event. I normally wear a size 6 but felt like the bust area was a little tight, so the 8 worked out much better for me. I would definitely recommend this dress!!

I wore this dress for my bridal shower and it was absolutely perfect. The lace is stunning and it fit like a glove. As far as size: I am 5'7" and between 135 and 140lbs. I range between a 4 and a 6; a 4 typically fits everywhere but my shoulders and bust. My shoulders are broad; i think an 'athletic build' is an appropriate description. I went with the 6 and happy that was my choice. When sitting and opening gifts, there was a slight tug across my neck but I believe that was due to how I was sitting and my broad shoulders. Really, I ended up barely noticing it. Thanks RTR!!

This dress was perfect for my wedding rehearsal and dinner. I had originally planned to make this my "party" dress at the wedding reception, but when it arrived I realized that the straight skirt wasn't very conducive to dancing. I ordered this dress in a 2 & 4. The 2 fit very nicely, but the 4 had a little more breathing room, so I opted for that one, as we were serving italian food (carb-loading ;)) at the rehearsal dinner. I felt amazing in it, and received many compliments! I wore this dress with the Ben Amun love letter earrings and it was a great combination. Thank you Rent the Runway!

This dress was extremely comfortable. Our wedding rehearsal and rehearsal dinner were both outside. The rehearsal was warm, and this dress was light weight enough to handle the heat. The dress does require a strapless bra. The chest was too tight for to wear the size 0, so I opted for the size 2 instead. I highly recommend this dress. It's delicate, timeless, and beautiful. I received so many compliments!

I wore this dress for my bridal shower brunch in Chicago. The dress can also be worn for those looking to wear an elegant, but simple/classic dress for their actual wedding. I received many compliments on the dress, and some people (non-guests) thought that the dress was my actual wedding day dress. The dress was true to size and was SUPER comfortable. I wore the dress with a white bra, and for those ladies who can't wear strapless bras, you can absolutely wear this dress with a white bra that has straps. Although you will see the bra straps behind the lace, it actually looks like it is part of the dress. I have a very hourglass/Latina curvy shape, but I feel like the dress complimented my shape versus making me look straight up & down the way some dresses do. I paired the dress with the Come Fly with Me Veil and Silver Glitz Bangle Set. They were the perfect finishing touches to the outfit. I also wore the dress with silver chandelier earrings and rhinestone silver stilettos. All the accessories really help complete the outfit according to my own personal style (I love bling!). But, the dress can most certainly be accessorized with more basic pieces as well. Overall, the dress helped make my special day unique and truly made me feel like a beautiful bride-to-be!

It fit like a true size 12, maybe even a little larger. The 10 may have even fit but it didn't arrive. There are 2 layers of lining inside but that made it feel nice and secure. I like the length, which was more like knee length on me instead of mid-thigh like the picture. Overall, I loved it! A great bridal shower dress!!!

This dress could not have been more perfect for my wedding rehearsal and rehearsal dinner. The lace was gorgeous and the fit was beautiful. The only complaint I have is that the under layer of the dress was a little longer than the top layer of lace so you couldn't see the scallop lace on the bottom very well. I ordered two sizes and this happened on both of them. I also think this dress runs a little large, but most Shoshanna dresses do, so I would recommend sizing down for your backup size. If you're thinking about renting this dress, DO IT! You will not regret it!
