So many compliments (attended broadway show)
Wore this for my sister's 35th birthday. We went to Natasha Pierre and the Great Comet on broadway starring Josh Groban. We had on stage seating and at one point the spotlight focused on us! Needless to say we got endless compliments even from the actors and felt so glamorous! The embroidery is breath taking! So glad I had the occasion to wear it!

Beautiful necklace
Loved this necklace. Would also have been great with the Monique L'huiller Kyoto bloom dress but unfortunately that was too small. Happy the DVF dress fit fine and I had the opportunity to also wear this necklace! I think it would look great with any pastel non pattern dress.

Gorgeous fun day dress. perfect for Easter. My cousin received many compliments on the dress and it was incredibly flattering. Not apparent at all that she was three months pregnant although she did mention she would have been more comfortable in a size two more than likely but one wasn't available and the 0 ended up working well for her!

Wore to partner's christmas work party
I loved this dress but I think it would have been better to wear to church for Christmas. My partner was a little underwhelmed with it which is never the reaction you hope for as a woman. I think it looked sensible and reserved though which is great if you're not wanting to be the person who is talked about for wearing something inappropriate.

Loved this dress. A bit tight in the arms. Sequins made the dress feel a bit heavy but warm enough for winter. The sequin flowers are exquisite. I received a number of compliments. Would wear again.

I had strangers approaching me all evening telling me it was the most beautiful dress at the event.
Absolutely GORGEOUS dress! My only complaint is my own fault in that I should have ordered the long dress because with my 4" heels my shoes were visible. I wore this dress to the 50th Petroushka ball in NYC. Felt like the belle of the ball. Definitely a great choice.

looks beautiful in pictures not on me!
I loved the idea of wearing this to my cousins bridal shower I was throwing however the midsection was so poofy and it looked a bit like I was in the early stages of pregnancy. Definitely not the look I was going for! Also it looked much more matronly and wasn't at all flattering on my body type. Made me look even more flat chested than I am! Horrible horrible dress! Definitely pass if you are flat chested with a little food baby belly like me!

Perfect day dress runs small

beautiful dress but size up one
I really needed size 2 but unfortunately it was unavailable but since I had my heart set on this dress I got my usual size 0 and the next size available 4. 0 was too tight 4 was way too loose and hung on me awkwardly. I made due with the 0 but on my walk home from the birthday party the slit split up more revealing my spanx. Definitely size up!! Even if in all the other dresses you've rented from RTR you've gone with a certain size like I had!

Love spanx and now addicted. sort of bothered by the slit that gives you access to your vagina. I'm assuming to be able to put in a tampon etc but it tends to give me weird camel toe which is just a mild irritation as it isn't enough to turn me off of them completely.

Beautiful earrings but unfortunately immediately after taking them out of the box, the post on the back of one broke and I wasn't able to wear them. Such a shame because they would have been a fantastic addition to the dress I rented!

Not too short- was able to wear spanx without having them show when I sat down. Absolutely perfect dress for a spring wedding. Definitely one of my favorite dresses I've rented and would love to own! I had rented this dress last May for a wedding and opted to rent it again. I've put on a bit of weight so I wore the size 2 but I still absolutely loved this dress. The picture is from the most recent wedding I wore it to. A tad warm for an outdoor ceremony in FL the last weekend in April but still such a beautiful choice I'd choose it again and again!

I wouldn't rent this again
Don't get me wrong. This is a pretty dress but what makes it interesting is the slit in the front and on the back shoulders. Unfortunately they weren't really visible so it made it look more like a solid black conservative dress with only lace arms. There are better options so keep looking!

Boxy and the color combination was strange.
This dress was picked out for me by a stylist. It looked so boxy on and the coloring of the dress (teal) wasn't great. I didn't wear the dress. I can't recommend anyone renting this dress. RTR has so many better options. Keep looking!

Club vibe
It is a pretty dress that had been picked out by a stylist for a wedding that I would attend. It is a pretty color bright blue giving it a fun vibe but with the side cut outs it makes it feel much more like something you'd opt to wear at a club than at a wedding. This is probably my least favorite Monique L'huiller dress. That said it is still pretty, just not for what I was wanting.

It is a bit of a warmer dress than I was expecting. Thick material. I was sweating when I took it off an hour after I put it on. It was very form fitting but the longer length made it more conservative. Boyfriend who rarely compliments me on my clothes mentioned that it was a beautiful dress. I'd definitely rent this dress again but hopefully when it is cooler out.

Sexy dress but it rides up in a major way.
I got this dress last minute when the clover canyon dress I rented turned out to be a dud. This dress was much better however not without its own issues. The dress should be worn with spanks or something to iron out any tummy issues. It is a classy looking body con dress however I was having to tug at it all night to keep it from riding up. Stairs multiplied this problem ten fold. I'm not sure I would rent this dress a second time but I'm glad I did this once.

Very sexy yet classy dress!
Put on this dress before putting on makeup or doing your hair as it is a pull on dress. I rented this dress hoping I could have some excuse to wear it. When I sent the guy I've been dating a picture of me in it he asked me if I was available to go out that night instead of waiting for the weekend. Clearly this is a "I want attention and you should give it to me" dress. The dress is very body conscious and isn't a substitute for wearing spanx. So avoid eating a huge meal. I wore it twice once to work with a red blazer and once on a date. I would love to own this dress and wouldn't hesitate to rent it again. Highly recommend.

I wore this dress Valentine's day to the NYC ballet. My friends and strangers alike thought it was a gorgeous dress. To do the dress justice, I really should have worn my hair up but I'm struggling with acne on my cheeks and felt too self-conscious to do that. My only complaint is that the tulle wrinkled very easily and by the end of the night I felt like it looked like I was wearing a costume from the ballet. Definitely DO NOT attempt to iron the tulle though. It is way too fragile for that and would too easily burn a hole in it. My recommendation if you don't want a A-line/ puffy bottom dress is: choose a different dress.

Best New Years Eve / post break-up dress ever!
This dress is AMAZING! It is darker than what the picture with the model showed but was still a gorgeous dress. It was perfect for New Years in NYC because the dress kept me warm even though it was very chilly outside. I've never worn something that caused such a commotion, and I definitely lost track of all the compliments I received when wearing it. The highlight of my night was when I won best dressed for the evening at the bar we were in. This is a dress to fall in love with. It isn't too revealing yet it is still sexy. However what great love doesn't have its (small) flaws… Due to the nature of the dress (being covered in sequins) the sequins would catch on each other from time to time. The only other (very small) flaw I noticed was it is possible to slightly see the black lining at the neckline and cuffs of the arms. That said, no one else noticed anything except how awesome the dress was. I'm so happy I chose this dress! It is my favorite RTR rental as of yet.

I got these earrings to pair with a Robert Rodriguez dress I rented for my 29th birthday. No one even noticed them because I wore my hair down. In hind sight I probably shouldn't have rented them simply because I was planning on wearing my hair down and they weren't readily seen. Wasn't wowed.
I wore this dress for my 29th birthday. I didn't notice a huge difference between the sizes 0 and 2 in length but I opted for size 0 because it seemed a bit more structured/ form fitting. The bottom edge of the dress slightly turned upward on both dresses exposing the stitching and underside. When I did anything, (walked, sat down, etc...) the dress road up to an inappropriate height but I paired the dress with black tights that somewhat camouflaged my lady bits and kept them from being on display. I definitely wouldn't recommend getting this dress if dancing is on your schedule for your evening. This was my first RTR experience and I must admit I felt a bit let down. It was a cute dress but "wasn't anything special" according to my boyfriend.
