Fun and comfy
A great example of looking fabulous while wearing what feels like pajamas. I got so many compliments when I wore this! I wished I had gone down a size; I'm not sure how much smaller it would have been, but I found the shoulders, underarm, and chest area large.

Great print, odd neckline
While I loved the print, the smocked top was a little odd — it really emphasizes the bust and is a little awkward if you're not equally as broad shoulder/chested. Fabric on the heavier side.

Absolutely beautiful!
Depending on your occasion -- and your accessories -- this dress could easily do double duty as work appropriate and as fancy dress. The lace is a gorgeous deep blue, darker than it appears in the listing, and has a beautiful pleated detail at the neck. Like other Papell dresses, this one has a strange low waist; the ribbon detail hits below where I would expect, even though I am long-waisted.

Absolutely gorgeous!
I loved this dress, which I borrowed for a gala event. It has a wonderful, flattering shape, and just the right amount of sparkle. As other reviewers have said, anyone over 5'5" who wants to wear heels is going to need the Long size -- the regular was just right with flats for me at 5'5".

Fun and comfortable!
I wore this dress for work, topped with a cropped black blazer, and then took the blazer off for an awards gala in the evening to highlight the v in the back. I received compliments all day! The skirt has a bit of a crinoline underneath that poufs it out, and the silver is shiny, but not too shiny. The pockets are great, and the sleeves have a zipper detail at the wrist that is really nice. The only trouble I had was keeping the ribbons that hold the dress on the hanger to stay tucked in. Would absolutely rent again!

Striking... but heavy
I received many compliments on this necklace, which I decided to wear to work over a simple black dress. It was heavy, and as others have commented, it looks best with the large flowers worn to the side, but said flowers spend all day slipping down to the middle.

Surprisingly casual
I have to admit that I was surprised at how not-fancy this dress looked on. As other commenters have said, the front is not nearly as deep cut as it looks on the model -- but, as a result, combined with the cut, it looks rather like a dress an ice skater would wear! I've rented other Badgley Mischka dresses, and this one had a much lighter lining than others. The sizing remains generous -- no need to size up here! This dress looked better, I thought, paired with a jean jacket, rather than for the party I was planning to wear it to.

Fun -- but oddly sized
This gold sequin dress is super fun, but I found it to be oddly sized. You need broad shoulders to carry off the wide neckline; the length of the bodice is long, so it felt almost as though it had a drop waist. The back cutout *does* work with a bra, provided your shoulders keep the top in place. I wish I could have worn it -- it's fun and sparkly. These fit issues may have been solved if a smaller size was available.

This sheath dress is nicely made, and features a nice, heavy skirt and full embroidery at the bust. However, unless you are tall, the length of the dress instantly skews it older.

These earrings were fun and have lovely details, but are much less striking from a distance than I expected by their size and weight (they might feel a little heavy to most). Up close, they are great; this might make them better suited for more casual wearing rather than as a statement piece.

Beautiful and fun floral print!
This dress is lovely -- with its wide shoulder straps and almost boatneck neckline and great knife pleats, it's very elegant and covers well; the print is gorgeous. The colors are more muted than in the picture, looking more coral and sage green. All in all, it is a perfect dress for an outdoor wedding or other event, while also not being too dressy for every day wear. I found the waist hit low on me -- if I owned this dress, I would have had the shoulders shortened, as there is room in the armholes and the whole bodice needed to be an inch shorter or so. The dress does fit loosely.

Slightly understated
I imagined that this necklace would be big and bold, especially from the comments about the weight of the necklace. Instead, I found it to be more understated than I anticipated, and not quite up to the task of dressing up my black boatneck dress. I imagine it would be much better with a dress with a more unusual neck. My necklace also had a very short chain, which caused the necklace to lay funny -- I needed a bit more length to have it lay smooth.

Fun statement earrings
I am a big fan of this style -- I've rented other pairs with different materials (like the agate, and the turquoise blue). The clear crackle is less versatile than I had hoped; the earrings look *great* with black and white, but really lose their impact when paired with other colors.

Fun, colorful. comfortable dress
This dress was more comfortable than I expected -- the bright red underlayer is knit, and the beautiful dark purple lace overlay is a heavier-weight lace, so the dress is smooth and comfortable and yet hangs great and hides lumps. As other reviewers have said, the bust is roomy, but the cut of the dress makes it work, allowing the extra lace to look like a purposeful detail. A little more casual than I anticipated -- a great party dress, rather than something more formal.

I picked the dress to wear to an interview -- it would have been perfect if it had fit!
The style of this dress is fantastic -- the black and the colored sections set each other off perfectly, and, combined with the exposed zipper, makes what could be a very traditional style something very of-the-moment. The fabric is very thick and heavyweight, so don't wear it someplace where you could be hot or when the temperature is high. I found the fit to be small, and that the shinier fabric in the front is not as smoothing and forgiving as the black fabric.

Fun Dress!
I got many compliments on this unusual dress -- the pleating and color blocking is fabulous. I would suggest ordering your regular size and a size down, and wearing the smaller size if the liner feels comfortable (the top layer is quite floaty, and the underlayer is cut like a sheath). This will help with the blousing on the top that others have commented upon; the smaller size will keep the black stretchy waistband in place.

Beautiful -- but short
This was my second dress option for an event, and I chose to wear the other dress because this one felt a bit short -- while it was only a few inches above the knee on me, the liner is shorter, and makes the dress feel short. The dress is more of a blush than a gold.

Fantastic and flattering dress -- the 2X is rather small for that size, but has plenty of room for a 14 or 16. The ruching and draping is very flattering, and the dress is quite comfortable. The green color is beautiful!
