I ended up not wearing this dress - it was a bit overwhelming on my 5'1 frame. I have bigger hips/thighs so the slit ran above the knee just standing. It was short enough for me to be comfortable in but just wasn't the right thing for the occasion.

Based on the other reviews I didn't even try on the medium. The dress was in good condition, lace a bit stiff but that's not unusual. Easier to zip than many. The bell sleeve is less pronounced and stayed up when I folded it to be able to eat. The large may have been a bit loose but was comfortable and already quite short (the lining hit at the top of my thigh - tights for sure) so I would order up a size. The sheer details were flirty and fun a great Valentine's celebration dress

This is like leopoard camo, an unusual combo but maybe something for everyone?? It is quite large and billowy. I wore it belted with wide leg black pants for work, and loose with black skinnies on a Sunday. This dress is gorgeous, heavy and inflexible lace, arrived in good shape. I first tried to pull it over my head - no chance the bottom was so snug it nearly got stuck over my shoulders. I was able to step into it as the zipper comes low enough to shimmy in but the arms were too tight to wear. The waist and hips would have fit though. This is a lovely and well kept dress. The embroidery is vibrant and the zipper moves relatively easily. However I would consider this more a tunic than dress length! I tried to give a sense in the photo but the lining did not actually cover my bum and with the kick of the skirt it feels like there is nothing there! I ordered the 8 and could step into it and zip by myself (therefore I would think the right size) maybe if you are completely straight it would hang ok. Too bad because it is gorgeous.

This is a looser sweater type dress, it clearly has some wear (like I'm not totally certain if the dark is black or navy and the light is kind of discolored) but I wore it with black tights and boots on a cold day and it still looked cute. Good option if you have gained a few pounds over the holidays! Oh and it was a bit shorter than I was expecting - I would not wear it without tights I'm 5'1" and it hit mid to upper thigh.

I picked true to size because it runs small (read short/petite) in length but is larger and roomier on the bottom half. If you are a pear shaped petite this is for you! I wore the small because I noticed minimal difference between the width of the dress from small to medium but the straps were shorter on the small. The material is heavy so even though it's short it doesn't blow up. I wore a strapless bra, topped it with a jacket for a baptism and then went out for the night after without it! Cute with nude heels and then switched to strappy flats to walk around downtown.

Absolutely loved this one of my favorite rentals ever! When I saw there was no zipper etc I was worried but once it got settled it looks great. Able to wear my normal size (had a size larger for backup but never tried it). Comes below the knee on petites which is fine by me the sheer is still above. Another reviewer mentioned don't raise your arms which is kinda true - you might be able to see underboob/bra then.
