...and finally found it! I wore this to a December wedding in Chinatown, NYC. It was perfect for the season, because the neoprene material is rather thick and on the warm side. The print was just perfect for the occasion, a Chinese wedding. I love that this dress is different from anything else I have in my closet. My fiancé was not a fan of the collar/neckline, but I really liked that I didn't feel self-conscious or exposed anywhere. And certainly no worries as we made our way through the seven course dinner- (as is often the case for me) the waist was quite loose and kind of hung off my body. The hemline was also a little long. I would still love to own this dress, and would have it taken in to fit properly. Overall though I was very pleased with the look.

I was really drawn to the unique color scheme and lace overlay when I initially saw the pic on the website- and I liked it just as much in person. The cut was great for my figure and the arms (no give/stretch) were not too tight at all. I'm short, so it was longer than I would typically wear- but that is more a critique of my legs than the dress!

I wore this dress for a fall wedding. I'm not usually a one-shoulder girl, but I love a great back and this dress definitely has a GREAT back. Probably not great for a larger bust- I went without a bra. It fit great and I loved the length and color.

Because my birthday and NYE are days apart, I rented a few dresses not sure which I would wear for the different occasions. I ended up wearing this for my birthday because it was less flashy than the other options. I felt pretty and age appropriate and comfortable wearing this out on a very cold December night. It was a bit long on me, but most dresses usually are.

I wore this dress for NYE last year. I couldn't tell from the pic if the lace cutouts showed skin, but was relieved to find that they don't- there is nude fabric under the lace. So I felt classy and pretty in a dress that hugged my in all the right places. I loved the neckline and the feathery lace detail at the neck and hem.

As many of the other ladies said, this dress takes some maneuvering to get into- thank goodness I had friends on hand to help me get it on me properly. I always wear a 0, but had the 2 as a backup and even considered wearing the larger size for a minute before I did some more shifting and shimmying to get the 0 to sit right. It was super long on me too, much longer than the photo implies. The cut definitely flattered my (smallish) bust and waistline, and the gathers can also hide a multitude of sins. After a night of dancing, the fabric along the bust/strap rubbed me the wrong way and actually left a mark for a few days. A friend of mine just rented the cocoa one for a wedding and looked great in it too.
