Runs small
This is small in the chest area. Size up if you have breasts! Beautiful dress though (fabric/print/colors). Vibrant and feminine. Wear for cocktail/dinner or an elevated day look.

Conservative with a punch
Great fit! Can’t zip this all the way up in the back on your own. I had planned to wear this to fine dining. But it’s really more an elevated daytime dress…brunch, lunch, work, or church! Length is great…not too long for my height. Beautiful embroidery and the colors pop. Good rental but honestly not sexy enough as a cocktail dress or date night.

Mermaid fit. Armholes were not an issue for me. I’m an XS in other dresses from this designer but this is truly an XS…maybe even XXS. Fabric is thick and forgiving but might be better to size up unless the sausage-look is preferred.

Striking!
This is beautiful… Note to designers in general- we regular people do not have an assistant in getting into these clothes! This is difficult to put on with the zipper on the side. Can’t zip this without straps fully in place. At least there are elastic bands on the sides which helped a little. Once on, it is very sexy and sophisticated.

Very feminine and elegant. This is stretchy enough to squeeze into. Flowy with substantial fabric as designer clothing should be. I might have been able to size up for more room in chest area, but this will be fine.

Striking color; sleeves add sophistication; subdued contrast piping; not sure what designer intended for the belt. To tie is where it is means an empire waist? I decided to tie it loose. Belt is sewed on so you can’t really adjust to your waistline. This was a bit annoying but I made it work.

Elegant dress for day or date night/cocktail. This may be designed for a relaxed/straight fit. Doesn’t hug curves. Fabric is not “elastic” or stretchy, but is like an accordion. So it has the capacity to expand. The XS is loose on me but a belt solved the issue.

Dressy sweater
This is an elevated sweater. Feels “tailored” and dressy. Love the braided details on the arms/shoulders. This is not “plain” as others have said. Simple yet elegant. I sized down (I usually do with sweaters on RTR). I wouldn’t try to wear this as an oversized sweater. It should be worn fitted.

This dress felt loose. The top is stretchy so I probably could have sized down. The arched front makes you look “wider.” I think a v-line there would have been sexier. But I’ll wear it anyway. It is pretty after all :)

Love this! I should have sized up. The chest area has “openings” and will adjust to larger chests easily. But the waist is small! I would size up unless you’re still in your 20’s with a little waist! (I’m way past middle age. LOL) Tip: it will be challenging to zip this. Extend the straps to max, slip in, turn the dress so that the zipper is as close to the front as possible, zip and turn it back to the side, slip in your arms through the straps. Someone else will be needed to shorten the straps again…but I didn’t bother so it looks very low cut. There’s always fashion tape!)

I sized down for this because of the open back. I’m not sure if I should’ve ordered it in my size. . Either way probably. This will need a neck accessory or costume jewelry as it is plan in the front. It is a challenge to put on /take off (overhead with two openings to get through). But I think it’s worth the effort. The fabric is substantial and good quality.

Great fit! Didn’t realize I rented the same dress before in a different color. I was pleasantly surprised because I was sad to let the other one go. Form flattering. Wear with strappy stilettos for a cocktail party or brunch! I would even wear this to work with a pair of nude pumps.

Top notch quality. I took a chance on a larger size due to availability and one reviewer said it was unforgiving in the abdomen. Well…it’s too big! I added a belt which is not as the designer intended, but I had to make it work. Beautiful dress. Size 36 would have been perfect but even smaller might have actually worked too. Nothing unforgiving about this. The fabric is hefty and smooth on the body. (As long as you’re not going for ultra tight/sexy). I rated this “just right” because it would have been if my size was available.

Works for petite!
I took a risk on this one. It is unfortunate the RTR doesn’t include inseam info. I’m 5’3” and wearing 3” boots in the photo. I must be long-legged! Inseam is 30-1/2” and it is perfect! I decided to size down on the waist size as others have recommended. This is a winner!

Gorgeous professional gear
High quality fabric, substantial weight (not light like some have said). The see-through weave starts below mid thigh so it won’t display your underwear. I’m 5’3” and 110 lbs…size 36 is perfect. I would not recommend getting this in a size that would be form-fitting. It is very elegant and not meant to be sexy (although it is very feminine and “sexy” in that way).

This dress is fantastic. Dressy enough for a semi-formal evening affair but I wouldn’t hesitate to wear to dinner or cocktail party. Form fitting but age appropriate. (I’m 58). Skirt is double layered fabric (I mean the same fabric, not lining material) which enhances weight and structure. Wish I could afford to buy!

Rich color and luxurious fabric. The pleats have disappeared in the one I received but it was still beautiful. The ‘wing” others mentioned was a non-issue and barely noticeable. I think it added just a touch of fullness around the length of the leg. True to size. I wore to dinner and cocktails. Would rent again. Please don’t dress this down!

This brand is high waisted so it will be tightest around the rib cage. For this reason, I should have sized up. Other reviews said to size down due to roomy chest which is accurate..but it ends up too tight in the rib area. No question, this is gorgeous. I will rent again in a larger size.
