Almost the right fit but tons of compliments and comfy
This dress is interesting. It had quite a bit of stretch but felt awkward on the hips. There seemed to be extra material around the torso that could have been used on the hips. I did wear it and received compliments. It was super light and airy and well made but I was uncomfortable with the fit the whole time and had to continue pulling it down.

Great color and quality
I know reviews say this ran large but I disagree. It was TTS for those of us who have bigger hips. I wore a size 8 and it fit nicely. Most other sheaths in a size 8 HAVE NOT FIT ME! This is my size because I go to regular brands and purchase dresses in this size so it’s refreshing when stuff fits. I got so many compliments on the fit and color of this dress. It has a bit of stretch so it’s very comfy.

Huge disappointment! The quality and fabric of this dress is not great. It appears to be sweatshirt like fabric that is not very classy. Again, another sheath that is way too tight. This is me wearing shapewear and I couldn’t sit down at all. I had to send it back.

This was an amazing New Year’s Eve dress! I sized up two sizes because I saw the fit on everyone in the photos and I’m glad I did! It looked great, was comfortable to wear and made a statement! To be clear, I am curvy and smaller on top than on the waist.

Too large or too small
The reviews were right in that it runs large but I think that’s just the style. I ordered my regular size and it fit okay but was right in the hips and lose elsewhere. I didn’t end up wearing and returned it. I think for it to look more fit, I would have to size down. For it to look as intended, I would need to size up.

I had to return this. I don’t know if it’s something weird about sizing in Marchesa that the hips did not fit at all! The top was big. Could not wear. The quality wasn't great either.

Gorgeous embroidery, just not for me
It is a very great material and the embroidery is nice. The flowers aren’t pink though, they are very much red. However, I did think the heaviness of it made me look wider than I am. Beautiful dress that fit TTS, just not for me.

TOP IS HUGE
This was HUGE. I usually order a size up in Marchesa but this did not fit AT ALL. As you can see in the picture, the bust was way too big. My roommate who is chestier than I am tried it on and has the same problem. Gorgeous fabric and great color. I couldn’t wear and has to send back.

I am very disappointed with sheath sizing. Maybe RTR designers are made for taller girls but it is so frustrating that every time I order a size 8, the style doesn’t fit on the hips! I am smaller on top so that was bigger and the bottom was just too tight around the hips. I may re order in a larger size because the color is great and the material is nice. I didn’t wear and had to send it back.

Amazing bodycon! Makes everything look great!
I hadn’t tried a bodycon dress before and am somewhat conscious of my body at the moment. I am glad I rented this dress because I felt it was fitted but didn’t create any roles or weird lines. It was super comfortable! I really enjoyed wearing this and felt great IRL but I think the photographs make me look a bit wide.

Cute - need smaller size
I should’ve listened to the reviews and sized down. This was super big on me. I have been wearing other designers on RTR a lot and have had to size up because I’m curvy. I regularly wear an 8. I got the large and it was super roomy. I could’ve even sized down to the small instead of the medium for a better fit. The material is fantastic. I echo other reviews where they mention it is super heavy which makes it weird for winter because the top is super bare and your shoulders are exposed. I had to wear a wrap to withstand the cold temperatures. It was fine to wear but would love to see what this looks like in the right size.

Romantic cute - for every day could dress up
I really loved this. Wore it all the time for two weeks. Was great to wear around the house with leggings or jeans. Contrary to other reviews I didn’t feel it was scratchy (wore without anything underneath on bare skin) or like it shed. It made me feel dreamy-like without feeling like I was underdressed. Can dress up or down and it went surprisingly well with a maxi skirt. Great cozy winter sweater!

Super interesting but small
I wanted to love this and should’ve listened to the reviews. I ordered a size 8 and when I first took it out of the bag I couldn’t fit into it. I think I may have lost some weight in the week I had it because I put it on again 10 days later and it fit but it was tight around the rib cage (other reviews highlight this). I don’t have big boobs so it was comfortable without a bra. If I had worn a bra it would not have zipped up, if you are beyond a B cup I wouldn’t recommend this piece or would size up 3 times. It was fun with jeans but still little too tight. It grew on me and maybe I would rent again but in a bigger size or two.

NOTT what it is in the pictures
This is NOT what it looks like in photos. I currently wear a size 8 and this was way too short and was too tight even with shapewear. Completely uncomfortable. I thought it was longer and wanted to wear it for work but the top part is a sparkly purple color that looks tacky. The material on the top doesn’t look like a classy glitter color and my brother even asked me why I was wearing teenager clothing. I had to hike it up and wear it as a top with jeans it was so short. Would NOT recommend.

Learned to really appreciate
I sized up and the first time I wore it with shapewear I felt it looked too tight on me. I gave it a second shot a different day without shapewwear and it actually fit me super nicely. I was really happy in it despite the sleeves kept sliding down. I think I would rent this again given it does hug your curves in the right places. I’m trying to lose weight so maybe that made the difference

These were really fun to wear! They are big enough to make a statement. Unfortunately my ear piercing is very sensitive and gets infected if the earrings are not high quality so I could only wear once to take a break for two days and wear them again. I would’ve worn them more because they are not heavy but the material was unfortunately a deal breaker for my ears.

Wanted to love but torso fit weirdly
They should have a button where you can say the fit is weird. I sized up because of the reviews and it fit me but it was uncomfortable to move in certain ways because I felt the torso was way too short. If I had sized up two sized it would've been unflattering and too big on me. I am not particularly tall so it was weird it fit that way. I really wanted to love it but that really was a deal breaker. It was snug and not too tight but also difficult to take on and off to go to the bathroom. It looked fine otherwise for me to wear on my 30th birthday vacation. The detail on the top was fun.

Pink boho princess - unforgiving without shape wear
I wore this dress twice. The first time in Venice for my 30th birthday in Italy in November. I had to pair it with purple tights so I wouldn't freeze but I loved the look! I was able to take my coat off when walking around and the top looked amazing. I have smaller boobs so I didn't feel like they were going to pop out and the clasp in the back did its job. I did have to wear shape wear because you could see my belly button otherwise. That day I felt like a floating fashionable princess in pink tights and was incredibly happy. I wore it a second time with my friends and I felt it photographed worse and didn't make me look as great. I also wanted to dance and at that point I was worried about having my boobs pop out. I felt at times the dress was too unforgiving with some weight I've gained recently. I was very happy with the vibe though and it made me feel special on this day. I'm not particularly tall but the length was fine so I wasn't dragging the dress while wearing flats. I wish I had used the same shape wear I had the first day because you could see all the flaws in photos.

Magic colored red - comfortable yet extremely glamorous!
When I first got this dress I was extremely disappointed because when I put it on, it had a cinch on the waist which I thought made it look unflattering. I took it out for a pre-birthday dinner to test it and it seriously turned heads as soon as I walked in the restaurant! The fabric was super comfy and I breathable. The cinch I disliked in the beginning was actually great to cover problem areas. (I recently gained some weight and refuse to buy new clothes until I lose it.) The color is deeper red which looks amazing in the sunlight! The cut on the shoulders made it look even classier! Overall, I was super happy with this dress and made me feel super glamorous. The problem is the buttons on the neck open in the back. If you're looking to make a statement but still be comfortable, this is a great option!
