i couldn't wait to get this dress! finally!
looking at the pictures, i am not as crazy about the fit as i thought i was, but i loved this dress. i wore it for regular 9-5 and then also for a cocktail thing after work one day. i still love it, but posting these photos has me a bit self conscious of my tummy...perhaps a size up next time.

believe the "sheer"
so these pants are WEIRD! they're sweater material but also see through, which i guess, duh, they're called "sheer" but i ended up wearing them with both tights and a long sweater so no one saw tush i got a LOT of compliments, but i really don't think they flattered me. overall, i'm glad i rented them, another example of what you get to try with #rtrupdate

the v neck is WAY TOO WIDE! ladies, please beware of that! i had to doctor it up with some satin ribbon on the neckline and fabric tape to guarantee no boobage slips! beautiful, heavy fabric keeps you feeling secure but not sucked in. classy af!

glam and perfect length
perfect length and almost perfect fit. since i usually have problems with my large booty fitting in skirts, i went a size up. it was just a touch too big, but still looked bomb. i felt like a very put together mod queen in this outfit.

i felt self conscious in this as it was looser in the waist, tight in the tummy and tight on the hips. made me feel extra bottom heavy. gorgeous color, just not a good fit
