Sleek, comfortable, beautifully cut
Love this dress! One of those super simple cuts that, when done perfectly, make this dress look tailor-made. I'm 5'1" so hit right above knee, which I prefer vs. the picture on the model. Super comfortable lining as well, and the pockets were perfect. Can be dressed up or down.

Almost perfect.
I was looking for something I could throw a wallet, phone, a pair of extra shorts for my five year old, and snacks, lots of snacks. As well as my Moleskine notebook, tablet, and keys. Love it. Magnetic closure could be stronger but style is awesome, it's light, and has lovely clean lines.

Perfect clutch, gorgeous, high quality
I took this to a black tie wedding, and it was absolutely perfect. It fit my iPhone SE, lipstick, Swiss Army knife (for loose threads!), credit card, some cash, and eyeliner. Quality is excellent: the clasp was well-engineered.

Stunning necklace
I wore this to a black tie wedding at an historic mansion, pairing it with an Aidan Mattox dress (owned). Overall effect very "Downton Abbey," tons of compliments. Matched with mesh bag also from RTR, reviewed separately. One thing to note: I've apparently developed a nickel sensitivity in the last six months, which results in some mild contact dermatitis. In general, gold-colored jewelry has been fine, but I think there's a bit of nickel in this one for those who may have a similar sensitivity.

Beautiful, unique style, but runs large
Love the not-quite-two-piece set up of this dress; made it super comfortable. Fabric and color lovely, but the Small was WAY too big. Felt like I was in a pillowcase. Others have commented on lack of camouflage for bellies, but perhaps because this was so big on me, I didn't have that problem. Was not really able to wear.

Good fit, subtle details
I chose this for a work meeting: the 0 fit perfectly fine (length hit right above knee, which is my preference - too short on the model in the photo). The design was a bit simple, the fabric a tad on the itchy side. I'm post-40, so I did use a bit of "shaping" undergarments to make sure the fabric laid smoothly and professionally. The 2 probably would have been too loose, but would have made the Spanx less necessary.

Lovely cut, fabric veers toward prom
Fit was perfect and cut was comfortable. Material a bit scratchy on the outside (my son recoiled after he came in fast for a hug). Ultimately did not wear because fabric veered a bit too close to 1980s styled lame. Length was a bit too long for me as I'm 5'1". I wore 4" heels and still dragged a bit.

Amazing dress in every way: great for true petites
I absolutely love this dress. If I didn't live in laid-back hipsterville, I would definitely buy it. The lace has a thin black edge around it that adds interest, separates it from the "usual" lace dresses. My husband looked at it on a hangar and said, "it looks like a grandma dress" until I put it on - vavavoom! Conservative coverage, but impeccable fit and peekaboo styling guarantees glamour. I would've preferred the dress to hit right at knee, as on the 5'10" model in the photo, but as I'm a little fire plug of a gal, it hit mid-calf.

Beautiful fabric and construction but kind of aging. . .
Surprised that this fit as well as it did: I have a shorter torso (a true petite, proportionally all over) and there was no "pouf" at the back between nape of neck and waist. Fit was exactly what I expect from a size 2, fabric was all texture and metallics, very stunning. Zipping up was a challenge whenever the zipper went by a seam: you will need a second set of hands unless you are very adept at yoga. I'm of east asian descent, so the color of the fabric was not doing my skin tone any favors. Maybe if I got a tan.

I can see why this one is so popular - great fabric, color, construct
I thought I'd be tempting fate a bit by getting the Small. I'm skinny-fat (same size pre-kids but really, really squishy), so was worried about back fat on this dress based on the other reviews. No problem at all - the material and structure are such you can just "tuck it all in." Dress is great for short torsos like mine (as are most strapless dresses). Length fell to right above ankle, an attractive length. I didn't have enough boobage to fill out the front without a padded bra. I had no problem with the narrow inner skirt. Color was striking. Big problem is that it came without a sash, but the sash holders on the side were still there. They are spaced wide (for the wide sash) so impossible to cover up with an alternative belt. I ultimately did not wear this dress because of the absence of the sash.

Great color and style - superb for short ladies
I'm a "true petite" in that I'm proportioned shorter in the torso, arms, legs, and am narrower around the shoulders. This dress is a beautiful color with gauzy fabric, though it arrived a bit wrinkled. It fit pretty well - since this was part of my Unlimited account, I only tried one size - but I probably would have gone down to a 0 to make the bust area more snug and the overall silhouette slimmer. I was wearing my most padded strapless bra and there was still a bit gapping (I'm a 34A). I am also skinny fat - that is, I'm slim but after two kids and being past the big 4-0, I'm not as firm as I was. With the 2 I could get away with no shapewear - with the 0 I would guess I'd need to put on some Spanx.

Great style - runs large
I'm a proper petite (5'1", 115 lbs) and the size 2 was swimming on me. Length was actually not bad - highest part of the hem hit right at mid-knee. Beautifully made, love the simple yet supportive closures. Wanted to swap for a size 0, but that's not available.

Great work dress
Wore this with a leather moto jacket for a work trip in Europe and it was great. I'm on the Unlimited plan, so only got a size 4 (which I chose based on trying on other Tahari dresses) but I probably could've/should've taken a 2 in this particular style. Doesn't run large per se, the cut is just a bit looser. Super comfortable, even across two plane flights in less than 14 hours. Exposed metal zipper in the back adds a little edge.

Beautiful dress (still had tags!) but too low-cut for me
I like Theory because I usually take petite sizes, and they're narrowly proportioned across the shoulders, and usually, the torso. Not so with this dress: because my torso is shorter than normal, the point of crossover in the wrap hit uncomfortably low - and there was a bit of a poof above the tied waist. The poof is probably okay - nice style points, more like a shirt dress style, but it would've required a camisole underneath to wear for work.
