Funky pattern; younger audience
To be honest, I’m too old to rock the crop sweater look. While the size was right, there’s no styling this to be age appropriate for my mid-40s bod no matter how rockin’. I wore it as I worked from home so those with whom I interacted couldn’t see the short nature of its torso. The pattern has a psychedelic undertone that displays a little oddly through video chat. Not for me.

If you’re a Mrs. Maisel fan, she’d call this is a “sitting skirt”. For me it was a little bulky in the waist; the tie is helpful to customize the fit. The quality fabric was comfortable and flowy. I paired with different tops to wear for work, a lunch, and date night.

Perfect accent piece!
The necklace was the highlight of my ensemble. Having picked a dress with a classic style, but nothing to draw your eye, this was the perfect accent piece which pulled it all together. Great quality piece. I was originally impressed by the weight of it, but never noticed it throughout the evening. Go for it!

Classic, comfortable, beautiful
This worked out perfectly for a work awards event. It was the first time I met many of my husband's co-workers and I felt beautiful, yet refined. As I tend to get chilly in many environments, the fabric and design actually kept me feeling quite comfortable.

It's a nice dress. I didn't end up wearing it because it wasn't as comfortable (the trumpet style skirt makes it difficult to walk) as my other choice. I wish the gold underneath would show through better. Also, the 6R felt a inch or two too short for my 5'7" frame which surprised me.
