I started using Rent the Runway because I had an award ceremony and a wedding in the same month and needed something special to wear. After that, I got hooked. I go to the opera with my mom often, and I always need a great dress. Renting has completely changed the experience for me — it’s simply more fun to walk in wearing a beautiful Ulla Johnson dress. It’s taken the stress out of getting dressed up and added a little joy to every event.

The dress made everything brighter when I put it on! It is so lovely and comfortable, and I felt amazing wearing it.

Gotta love Ulloa’s puff sleeves! Wore this for work and received many compliments, the bright pattern is lovely. Comfortable, easy to wear, and yup it has pockets! Rent this sweet dress.

I wore this dress twice while on vacation.  The first time was while exploring Venice, Italy.  The second time was during dinner in Las Vegas.   The dress fit perfectly and the colors really pop!  It was the heaviest of the 7 dresses I took in vacation, but it was worth it!  

This dress was so comfortable and easy to wear during an all day conference I was speaking at. I received so many compliments on the beautiful print and style. Highly recommend!

I loved this dress. The print was fun and vibrant and the dress was super comfortable. It was perfect for a derby themed event!

Fit well. Shoulders are puffier than I thought they'd be but ended up being just fine. 

This dress fit well, flower easily and cleaned easily. I wore it twice!

Wore to two separate engagements in two different climates and it was the perfect spring dress. Would have bought if less expensive. Compliments were as bountiful as the flowers on the print. Super comfortable over- the-head dress. 

This is a very easy fitting dress. Not a lot of limitations with it. The elastic on the sleeve was not tight, lots of room in the chest and waist. Super vibrant colors too! Definitely a head-turner!

Great for tall folks. Hit about mid shin. A bit low cut for those of us less endowed. Elastic at waist a bit itchy for sensitive skin 

It was great on a hot day. Loved the fabric. Very comfortable and cute! I would rent again!

I wore this and my daughter was able to wear to Easter.  I love Ulla and this didn't disappoint!

This dress looks great and feels great. I paired with burgundy velvet Manolo’s.  

Super cute and flowy. Rougher fabric but no issues for me there. Very girly and flowy. I had to put a shirt under because we got a cold front, but would recent for the spring and winter times. Really cute for work. 

Was a really fun summer wedding dress! The colors popped and it was nice and it wasn’t too long to wear without heels (I’m 5 ft). 

The Ottilie Dress by Ulla Johnson is an absolute standout—romantic, lightweight, and beautifully detailed. So so cute, perfect fit for a growing belly. For reference I am 4.5 months pregnant and went up one size. Wear to work, dinner, baby shower, etc.

This dress fit great, was really forgiving in all the right areas, and had plenty of room in the chest.  Nice length, wore it to church.

Vibrant beautiful pattern, easy styling. I wore this for a date, bridal shower and to work, would definitely rent again! Bubble sleeves do give ” 90s church dress” but they’re not overpowering.  Lots of compliments.

Loved this dress and got so many compliments! The puffy sleeves are a bit much but otherwise it’s great. It also has pockets so that’s always a win. Thought about keeping it but more than I want to spend. Fit me great.

Really pretty dress for any sort of garden party or shower. Nice material and really pretty colors. Fit tts and was a great length.

This was a bit much for work with the puffed sleeves, but wanted to wear it once. I think it would be great for a spring or summer party though!

Great dress for a laid back wedding on the lake

Wore this to a daytime garden party and it struck the right note. Lots of fabric but the material kept me cool. Sleeves hit like a cap sleeve

A little low cut for business casual but I just wore a nude cami under it and that helped!

I loved the colors and the shirt-dress style of this dress. The sleeves killed it for me though a too poofy, and they stick out almost like you’re wearing shoulder pads. When I look at the photo it doesn’t look that bad but I tried it on a few times and just couldn’t get past it. I didn’t end up wearing it. 

I really loved the colors of this and the fit, but it was excessive floral and brightness and poof for me

Based on the great reviews, I was excited to finally get my hands on this dress but was surprised that the material felt like a swimsuit? It swished when I walked. The puffy sleeves also felt a bit excessive for an already loud print. Wore it to work, got zero compliments, wouldn’t rent again.

Comfortable, cool and POCKETS!!!  I love me some Ulla Johnson!  Wore this several times before returning.  Got several compliments too!

I love this dress! It showed more cleavage than I anticipated, but still worked out well. Comfortable too.
