I'm 5'10" and ended up wearing the 6R because the only thing long about the 6Long size was the under dress, and it hung below the lace in the front of the gown. I wore 3" heels and it hit my ankles. Beautiful fit, surprisingly did not rub in the armpits or cause any chafing. Can be worn with any undergarments. The sparkle is a gold/silver mix to my eyes in real life, but it doesn't show up silver in photographs. Perfect bridesmaid dress.

The gown for my daughter was a true Size 4 fit.  We rented the 4 Long, because the 4 Regular wasn't available.  Initially worried about it being too long, but with a pair of sandals that had a 2 1/2" heel, the length was perfect!!  My daughter looked and felt beautiful!  That made for a fun Senior Prom evening with friends that she hadn't seen all year due to the pandemic.  My daughter is not really in to the "dress-up" scene so this was a perfect solution!!  Would definitely consider again - in fact, will probably rent same dress for her Senior Piano recital next month.

I really enjoyed this dress overall. The color was less gold than pictures made it seem. There was more silver accents and had to wear silver shoes and jewelry to match.  I ended up wearing the 6R for the length as it is short, even for my 5'4". I wore a strapless bra- 34A and flats to keep the length perfect. I wouldn't rent again for the short factor and coloring of the dress. I did get a lot of compliments and it was easy to dance in. 

The material of the dress is a bit stretchy so it accommodated my petite and curvy frame perfectly.  The length was perfect for me but I am 5'0" so a taller woman might want to get the L size.  I also loved that it comes with a sewn-in bodice.

Very beautiful dress! Comfortable yet appropriate for a formal affair. I'm 5'7 and with heels I can be 5'10+, really wish I rented the long instead of the regular... was still okay, but could have been better.

The 4R fit perfectly, but it was a little tight and I wanted a bit more breathing room to eat and dance. The 4 and the 6 worked equally well. The 4 had that bit of overlay at the bottom of the dress whereas the 6 did not, so I did not have to alter the dress in any way. 

I loved every minute of wearing this dress, and it received tons of compliments. It shone subtly in the sunlight, which I loved. It was comfortable and hugged my body in just the right way. I didn't feel like I had to squeeze into this dress at all. I would highly recommend this dress!

I thought this dress was kind of boring but it was classic elegance and I received many compliments!

I rented this to wear as a bridesmaid in my sister-in-law's black tie wedding (she asked that we all get dresses in the champagne/rose gold family). I got lots of compliments and was super comfortable.

Great length on me and I'm 5'3. My heels were super uncomfortable and I was able to change into flats for the reception without it dragging on the floor at all. 

One drawback was that the underneath layer was sticking out 2 inches or so in front, but I pinned it up and it was no problem. 

This fit me perfectly! It wasn’t even too long, which is rare for me, being 5’3. It was so flattering and I got so many compliments. 

First time with RTR. Great fit. Tons of compliments. Ordered a size up, happy I did. Just signed up for another dress for a Christmas party! 

it fit nicely, and was very comfortable.  she's 5'6", about 142lbs, 81 years young, long-waisted.  she tried the size 10 but the waist was far too long (!) and the under layer seemed to poke out beneath the dress at the hem.  the size 8 fit perfectly and no issues w the hem at all.

There was only 1 size close to mine when I ordered the dress, so I actually went down a size, but the dress still fit like a glove. I did order a size regular in length so I did have to wear a slightly lower heal, but by the end of the night, I was happier with the lower heal. I never once felt like I was going to trip over the dress. My only suggestion for this dress would be to wear a regular nude/sheer bra. I bought a sticky bra thinking that I would need that for the back of the dress, when a regular bra would have made me look better. There is a somewhat built in bra, but I would only recommend that for a small bust size. With a full B or higher cup size, try the dress with a regular bra. 

When I received the first two they were totally different.  The first was the gold formal length. The second was blue hi/lo, both in 10 R.  I had read all the reviews because of my size, shape.  The zippers were hard and they stuck (which was stated numerous times) but I didn't remember reading they were snug through the middle. They were and the blue was a heavy gown ( I think I remember reading that, also).   I called customer service on Friday at 1p, the day before my event. They didn't have the gold in the next size, so she sent me two sizes in another of my favorites that arrived the day of my event at 1030am!   So impressed with customer service.   Those were just too much sequins for me. I went with the very first and just wore a lot of Spanx.   Also, there were at least 3 other of the  same sequined dress  at the event.  Maybe, there could be a way to ask what event the renter is attending so there won't be the duplication. Overall, as a first timer this was a great experience. 

I wore this for my brother's wedding and it was perfect! It was on the short side (I am 5'2" and found short heels.) like others have said, I had to use fashion tape for bottom hem. I for so many compliments!

Fit was perfect for me. I am busty, small-waisted, with hips. I rented the 4L because I read that the style ran short. I was glad I rented the long. The lining was too long for the gown, but I taped it and it was fine. It was absolutely gorgeous, so comfortable, and I got tons of compliments. I would buy this dress if I could afford it! I loved the built-in cups, and it seemed to hug all the right spots on my figure. Would rent this gown again. 

Fit great. I am glad I ordered the Long- length was perfect. Color, fit, everything was what I expected. 

I rented this dress for a friend's December wedding and absolutely loved it. It was very formal without being too over the top and it was super comfy. Would rent it again!!!

It was very comfortable and the fit and length was perfect with heels. I felt like royalty!

Great fit. Def wanted the longer dress with heels and the regular was a bit too short; hem hung longer than 4R dress itself. 

The 4r was too short, so I went with the back up 6r which gave it some length. 

I love RTR so much, and this dress only further solidified that. I rented this for my friends evening October wedding in Ohio. 
Both the 6 & 8 fit; had I been willing to wear shapewear all night I would've worn the 6...  but it was BBQ wedding food so I opted to wear the 8 & not worry about it. 

As other reviews stated, the lining was longer than the overlay, but I figured some double sided tape would fix that easily. When I tried it on with heels, I realized it was definitely not long enough for the look I was going for so I ended up wearing flat sandals instead and it worked out great. 
I got tons of compliments on the dress, and was very comfortable all night.

I would say that if you have broad shoulders or very muscular biceps, this might be a little tight. My movement was slightly limited but it wasn't bad at all and I barely noticed as the night went on.

I would absolutely recommend this dress & might rent again!

The dress is gorgeous and I definitely received compliments all night long. With that said, I usually wear a size 6, and wear dresses well as I have a small waist, but thankfully I ordered a back-up size 8L. It was still surprisingly tight and I didn't feel that it hugged the right places on my body. I wore heels and it was just long enough. 

The bride of the wedding asked all of her bridesmaids to rent dresses off RTR to save money; knowing that we'll probably be wearing the dresses only once.  We all loved the idea!  We had to place the order months before the wedding, but the dress came right on time -- a few days before the wedding.  The dress fit perfectly and all of the bridesmaids loved the dress.  It looked beautiful in pictures and I got so many compliments!  A few things though: another bridesmaid ordered the same dress in a different size and the inner lining was longer than the outside fabric.  (Not with my dress -- it was a good length! But just wanted to share and give a heads up) And since it is very fitting, the zipper is a bit hard to zip and sometimes it felt like it was going to break.  (But it didn't break -- but I would be careful zipping up and down!) Overall, loved the dress and I would definitely be using RTR again for future events/occasions!

Amazing Maid of Honor dress!! The 0R was a perfect fit (I'm 5'5" and about 115lbs) with ballet flats

This dress was perfect for me. I'm 5'4" and 150lbs. I just had a baby a few months ago so I was worried about spending too much on a larger dress than I normally wear. Even though I'm still sporting my mom pooch, I thought this dress fit great! It was very elegant and flattering, perfect for a black tie wedding. I received tons of compliments and bragged about RTR all night! 

This dress was perfect for my sons wedding. Not too long, I was able to wear my flats with it at my height! It was also not too tight which I prefer at my age. Perfectly conservative but still subtly glamorous. I got a ton of compliments!

Loved this dress and I would rent it again!

The dress was fitted and flattering. Fits me perfect. I am 5'4. 135ibs

This dress was my backup dress, but it ended up being more comfortable than my first pick. It is a taupe color with silver, and paired well with nude shoes. It was the perfect length for a 2" heel. I am 5'2, and the regular length was perfect.  

I rented this dress for a Feb. Black Tie event. It was exactly what I was expecting based upon the pictures and reviews. I'm on the shorter side, and the 4R was a good length. The fit was super comfortable and flattering.

I wore flats and the 8L was just about the perfect length for my height. It was pretty comfortable, even with shapewear. I lost count of how many women came up to me to compliment the dress. The only minor issue is that it's mildly sheer on the upper back, so regular bra straps will likely show through a little. It didn't bother me at all though, so I wore a skin-tone regular bra.

This dress was a very nice, formal dress. I was unsure when I first ordered it, but once it was on, compliments came from everyone. The dress was used a bridesmaid dress, but it definitely could be used for any formal event. I ordered 6-8, and I had to use the 8, which was perfect. 

Comfortable and easy to move in! Flattering fit.

Unfortunately the dress underslip was a few inches longer than the overlay which was definitely noticeable.  Other reviewers had also mentioned this.  Also the underslip had significant staining all over it which translated to a few dark shadowed areas on the dress which were barely noticeable.  I reported this to RTR customer service and they were very understanding about it!  Overall, I felt great in this dress! It was super comfortable and hugged my curves in all the right places.  Will definitely RTR again!

Luckily a 4R was available, the fit was perfect. I wore comfortable 2.5 inch heels and had my sister pin the dress up a tiny bit and it worked out great. The details feel subtle but definitely impressionable. A modest but sexy fit. Felt glamorous and pretty as a bridesmaid. 

One of my best friends got married recently and asked that all of her bridesmaids wear long, gold RTR gowns. Unfortunately, even though I rented a 4R, this dress was a little tight (but doable) but way too short. I'm only 5'4" had to wear my shortest heels, and the dress was still awkwardly short. You can't tell from this photo, but you could see my entire shoe below the dress. I'm not sure if someone hemmed this dress or if I was just accidentally sent a 4P? Maybe rent an L just in case. Other than that, the whole RTR experience was a great one for all of the bridesmaids and I will definitely rent again. 

Fit very well. 4L was form fitting but a bit short with 3 1/2" heels. 6L still fit beautifully and was long enough. It did have more shine than expected, which was welcome! Built in bra cups, so no bra was needed. Lining does hang lower than the lace but it didn't bother me. Classically simple yet elegant dress for bridesmaids. I am also 4 months pregnant when I wore this and there was plenty of room for my mini bump. Highly recommend! 

I really wanted to make sure my bridesmaids didn't spend a ton of money on a dress for the wedding but still had something beautiful and comfortable.  This was exactly that.  Not only did it look incredible on every body type, but it photographed so well.  They just shimmered and there were so many compliments on them.  The girls did say that they ran a little bit small in the chest area (so if you have a larger chest, maybe order a size up as your second size) and the hemline of the dresses on some were a little bit worn.  Otherwise, everything was absolutely perfect!
