Fun work look
Got tons of compliments whenever I wore this, they were super fun. The length is on the long side (wear heels) and I think because of that, the pair I got came with a torn hem that I had to tape up. I also found I had to iron these between wearings. But other than that, loved these and would rent again.

Conservative yet flattering
I am sometimes a small, sometimes a medium in tops and felt like the medium fit just right. This was nice and festive (i.e. bright red) for the holiday season, good for work and family events.

Flattering but slightly short
Super cute dress and flattering fit. It's on the short side for work: I'm just under 5'6" and my fingertips were brushing the bottom of the skirt, which is technically the limit for skirts at my office. So for me I wish it were an inch longer, but still enjoyed the dress and would recommend.

Almost perfect but too short
Kinda torn about this top because I got compliments whenever I wore it, and I like how I look in the pictures. Super well-made and flattering and also bright and fun. BUT, as others have said, it lands really high on the waist. Even when I wore high-waisted pants with it I was still constantly tugging it down. Maybe if you size up this will be less of an issue, but other than the length it fit true to size so not sure?

Lovely, versatile dress
Flattering to the waist and tummy. Beautiful skirt. I felt the top was slightly big but I still got lots of compliments on this dress from husband and coworkers. Can dress up or down and I wore this to work, out to dinner and on vacation in Mexico. I would rent this again!

Wish I had more occasions to wear these cute shorts
Adorable and fancy. Wore on a daytime date and at a tropical vacation resort. Felt great both times. But unfortunately I don't have many opportunities to wear dressy shorts: I can't wear shorts to work and these felt too dressy for everyday weekend stuff. Still, super fun and glad I rented.

Nice fit, a bit short
I am almost always a size 4 in dresses and 27 in jeans, and the size 27 fit great at waist and thighs. It is only slightly "high waisted" as the snap was still below my belly button. For my taste, they were a little too cropped: I am 5 foot five and a half inches and the pants hit a good two inches above my ankle.

Unique and fun
I ended up keeping this two months with my Update subscription and wore it every chance I got. And yet somehow never managed to take any great pictures of it, sorry about that! Hopefully this at least gets across the fun shimmery-ness of the dress. Yeah, it sparkles a bit so you gotta be up for that. I didn't feel like it necessarily did me any favors in terms of magically making my body look better the way some dresses do, but I got a ton of compliments whenever I wore it and it felt like a special dress and wish I had the funds to buy it.

I am almost always a size 4 in dresses and the Medium was huuuuge. Couldn't wear. It's a cute and fun design so I would be curious to try it i na smaller size... but still afraid even that might be too large. Especially in the chest. If you are large-busted this might be great for you.

Ended up buying!
I totally loved this and found myself wearing it all the time. I am consistently a size 4 and the small fit perfectly. I should say: I have really small boobs and also thin legs and from other reviews I can see how if you are curvier in those areas, this might not work. I also have a bit of a gut and I felt like the elastic waist kinda sucked me in, in a good way. My only complaint was the hook in back was tricky to operate on your own so I made a few friends in ladies rooms getting myself hooked back in after a pee. I wore this everywhere (work, dinners out, on the weekend) and ended up buying... directly from the designer, was on sale and much cheaper new than RTR's price to buy used.

Too small to wear
This was too tiny for me to wear, which is strange because I'm usually a size 4 in DVF (and most other brands). But my bra was popping out and the skirt barely wrapped over my legs. It's a cute dress so I'd like to try it a size up... maybe two sizes up!

Did not work for me because they were too tight.
I am usually either a 2 or 4 in pants, so I was surprised when I found these size 4 pants extremely tight. At first I thought it wouldn't be a problem, as I feel pretty good about my legs and booty, BUT it ended up making everything above the pants, namely my gut, appear larger. The photo I posted was the most flattering one I took because I'm too embarassed to share the others, but I did not feel good and ended up changing out of these pants before wearing them out of the house. Maybe if you size up these can work for you, but be warned they run small.

Cute and comfortable
Very comfortable and great for wearing on days when you don't want your stomach on display- which was often for me as I rented this over the holidays! I consiered buying it because it was only $30 or so, but held back because the way it fell, you had to wear a camisole underneath to avoid it being too low-cut, and I felt like that ruined the look a little. I would actually consider renting it one size smaller ot see if the issue could be avoided.

Flattering with two issues.
Very flattering cut for me: accentuated the waist and blouse out at the top. Angled skirt flowed nicely. I am almost always a size four and the size four fit perfect. As others have mentioned, the bow just flops there and there's nothing you can do about it so I didn't love that. Also, my dress ha a strange odor. I assume it was body odor mixed with dry cleaning odor? I hung it outside in the shade for a while before wearing and that helped a bit, but I wasn't psyched about this. And it's not the first time this has happened. I wish RTR had better quality control about dresses with BO. And ladies, please, wear deodorant! Especially if yo uare a size 4 :). We all need to share these dresses.

Cozy sweater
I wore this to work and on the weekends throughout the month I had it for Update, and every time I put it on my husband mentioned I looked nice that day. Cozy and comfortable and matches many things. It's cropped a little shorter than most sweaters so make sure your pants are not too low-waisted or you'll be afraid to lift your arms.

Dream ress
I felt amazing in this. Super feminine and refined. I wore it to a daytime classical music performance in Beverly Hills and it felt appropriate - I think this is a nice option for dressy daytime events. I am consiering purchasing it. As others have mentioned, your arms will have limited range of motion so you'll need a buddy to help you zip and unzip.

Great silhouette with some flaws
I love the silhouette of this dress. I am almost always a size 4 but I could juuuust baaaarely get this zipped. Once it was zipped I felt comfortable and also felt like everything was plled in in a good way, but if you are between sizes maybe size up. I would be raving about this dress and how flattering it was (gave me something close to an hourglass shape which is a miracle) EXCEPT for two big flaws: it's really low cut, and I didn't realize until too late that my bra was showing all night. I think the only way around this is those stick-on bras that don't meet in the middle. Also, my dress had a clump of fabric at the base of the zipper that I could not smooth down. Maybe it was just the particular ress I had, or maybe I just couldn't figure out how to smooth the frabric, but anyway I attached a picture you can kind of see the clump of fabric. My husband said it wasn't noticeable but I felt self-conscious about it.

Fun and vibrant
Perfect fit: I am almost always a size 4 and this size 4 fit perfectly. Nipped in at the waist which was flattering. The dress had a high-quality zipper which I really appreciated - very easy to zip on and off myself. The colors are vibrant and the skirt flows in a nice, dramatic way as you walk. The fabric feels silky and luxurious. I wore out to a restaurant then to the theater (Dear Evan Hanson, which I also recommend!!). I felt great wearing it and I would love to find an occasion to wear this to again.

Nonstop compliments
I wore this to work, to a dinner date, then to brunch with friends. Felt totally appropriate for all occasions. And I got nonstop compliments while wearing it - including two friends who were adamant about doing research to help me find a way to buy this dress. It's super flattering (accentuates the waist, shows off the shoulders, hid my tummy). Alas, I don't know how to buy this as it's not for sale on RTR and sold out everywhere else. I wil ljust have to rent again! As others have said, definitely size up. I am almost always a dress size 4 but in this case the size 6 was perfect.

Simple but elegant

This was my first time renting jewlery from RTR and it went great. I was wearing a very simple black dress to a formal event and knew I needed some bling - these did the trick! It made the outfit more unique and also the spring-like colors helped lighten my look for this April event. I paired the earrings with the "Iridescent Opal Necklace" also from Slate & Willow and I thought it was a perfect match. Compliments on both all night. Everything was packaged well, too. Very figure flattering
I wore this to an awards show luncheon, and it was perfect for the occasion. This gave me more of an hourglass figure than I actually have (slimmed my waist and made my small boobs look slightly less small), which I appreciate! And it photographed very well. At the same time, it was a little "safe" or "tame" which is what I wanted for this occasion, but if this were an event where I wanted a little more attention it would have been nice to rent the same dress but with more color. The cutouts are very subtle, in fact I'm not sure most people noticed them. Overall a great RTR experience, as usual.

Would look great on someone with more curves
I didn't end up wearing this as it wasn't flattering to my body type. I think it would look great on someone with more curves but I have very few curves and the dress wasn't helping me out at all. I also have slightly wide shoulders and because the dress hit at the outermost point of the shoulders this made my shoulders look even wider than they are. So I did not wear this one.

Very cute, sweet dress that was perfect for a fairly straight-and-narrow figure like mine. Nipped at the waist and the v-neck and ruffles made it look like I was fuller on top than I was. I wish I took a picture!

Fun dress, can be dressed up or down
I wore this to an outdoor work event and then out for dinner with my husband. Got lots of compliments: it's a fun and unique dress and I think it could work for a lot of occasions. Nice if you want to dress up but not look too, too dressy. I am usually a size four and wore the four. The size two fit but was a bit snug in the ribcage and waist, and also the slip was hanging down past the hem so I would have needed to tape it if I wanted to wear it.

Sophisticated and unique dress
I wore this while hosting a brunch during my brother's wedding weekend. I received a ton of compliments and felt very glamorous. The neckline is unique and flattering, and I love the defined waist and pleated flowing skirt. I normally wear a size four and ordered the 38 and 40. They fit almost exactly the same, to be honest, but I went with the 40 because it was microscopically looser in the top half which seemed more flattering. This was my first RTR experience and a very positive one: I loved wearing a dress that I might not normally buy. I will definitely use this site again!
