Perfection
This dress is the ultimate LBD - formal edition. Wore this to a black-tie private party and received so many compliments! Pros: The fit is amazing (I tried the 0P and 2P; 2P was too loose at the bust and longer overall while 0P fit like a glove) due to the stretchy neoprene material which sucks you in at all the right places while still being super comfortable. I wore Spanx to streamline the belly area and 3” heels to keep the hem above the floor. The neckline detail is so unique and the one shoulder kept the dress up securely. Just make sure you put the armband side on correctly, it shouldn’t feel tight! Cons: It is hard to walk in (no slit) but I would just pull up the hem if I needed to walk faster than a shuffle! No problems sitting or dancing. Due to the neckline, it is harder to raise the arm that the armband is on but wasn’t really a big deal. So very tempted to purchase this dress! RTR, please give us a bigger discount code!

Very cropped
The print is adorable (there is also a dress available in this same print) but like the dress, this cropped top was too short for my torso. Even with high-waisted jeans, it just made me look very square. Loved the 100% cotton material but ultimately a pass.

Very tight straps
This was not my usual style but looks interesting so I decided to try it out. Looked better on the hanger! Straps were a bit confusing and tight around the bust/neck even when configured correctly. Made me look bigger than I am. Overall look was also too long on me (5’2). Pass.

More formal than it looks
I was expecting to wear this for a casual brunch but it is a much heavier (albeit nice) cotton material than it appears! Full length on me (5’2) and the bust fits perfectly with no room to spare (34A). The print is lovely but I ended up not wearing this out. Would be perfect for a Bridgerton-esque event!

While a cute concept, this dress was much too short on me (5’2) and a bit juvenile. With black boots, it looked better but still too short. Maybe if you’re going to an anime convention, you’d fit right in but was a pass for me.

Perfect fit for petites!
Wore this dress for Mother’s Day lunch and loved how bright and cheerful the madras plaid was! Top part fit like a glove and while the vneck is low-cut, it is not revealing if you’re small chested (no bra needed; if you’re more well endowed, it can be very revealing.) You can cinch in the waist via a dainty bow tie and the rest of the dress is full, flowy and airy, full length if you’re short (I could’ve worn with flats for a more casual feel but wore 2 inch sandals). I felt like a princess and would consider buying this style dress in other prints!

First time using RTR as an attempt to curb shopping/spending and unfortunately fell in love with this 100% cotton beauty and had to buy it! Length, weight and fit were perfect (size 2 fits perfectly at the bust). Can't wait to wear this all summer, such a classic piece I'm sure I'll love for years to come!
