Elegant fit
The dress is made of heavy viscose fabric with the like backing. The effect is a curve-hugging drape. A bit too warm for summer (>75F). Would consider renting again for the fall. The fit was great, but the neck opening felt a bit tight at times.

Perfect fit and great colors
The dress is extremely comfortable, made of cotton fabric with cotton backing. Fit was, unlike other Marni dresses, not boxy, but just right. Slightly warm for 77F but may be alright for the office. The colors are a delight: dark hunter green, dark purplish blue, lightest of pinks and yellows. Very comfortable. Would rent again for fall.

Elegant and comfortable
Perfect fit. Smooth silk fabric (silk!) with a light layer underneath. Beautiful elegant colors. Great for the office or a dinner out or a lunch. Considering its purchase.

Dress with unrealized potential
This is a wrap-around dress with interesting detailing around the shoulders and sleeves (puff) and the neckline (a slight flounce). The puffiness of the sleeves was a challenge to pull-off. The material was also slightly scratchy (viscose) and felt too thick for the summer heat.

Perfect for summer
Soft and airy material. Perfect fit. Unlikely that it would fit someone to whose bust-line nature was more generous: my 34B was snug but not uncomfortable. Worn for work and a weekend with the family.

A vintage-looking dress for all occasions
Fit was exactly as pictured; the dress waistline is not forgiving (may be snug -- size up if you are concerned). Material is light, somewhat opaque. Worn to work several times.

A vintage cotton dress
This dress has a slightly oversized fit (arm and neck openings were perfect, however). The shape is very forgiving, so it could be worn during or after pregnancy. I cinched the dress with a simple leather belt. Material is a tightly woven cotton, so no slip was needed, but it was also light. The construction of the dress and the material also make it quite sturdy: there will be no seams opening by accidental pulling. Overall, the dress has a vintage, 60's look. I wore it twice: to work and on a very warm Sunday outing with kids (the dress survived and I felt very comfortable!).

Charming concept
The fit was perfect, similar to photo. The fabric is very stretchy and bouncy (92% viscose and rest is elastane), but feels (perhaps subjectively) cheap (kind of more appropriate for a swimming suit). Did not wear it because of the fabric.

Very comfortable dress for cool spring/fall weather
This dress felt like a casual alternative to a trench dress. Fit was almost perfect: waist hit me 1-1.5 inches above my actual waist (approx. 18 inches from shoulder); cap sleeves made it a bit awkward to lift one's arms. The cut is modest and modern and forgiving (would have been also perfect for during or after pregnancy). The dress can be cinched more or less. The fabric is heavy thick jean. Wore it to work and for a weekend outing with the children.

Golden yellow and a modern silhouette
The dress is comfortable. The fabric (although 100 acetate) can be easily mistaken for linen (cons: wrinkles). The fit was almost perfect. The waist can be cinched more or less: this would have been a great dress to wear for during/post pregnancy. The waist did hit me 1 inch above my actual waist (18-19 inches from shoulder). The cap sleeves do not allow for very elegant arm lifting -- the dress pulls and bunches up around the shoulders.

Very petite
The detailing and colors are lovely; the fabric is good quality. But the dress is made for someone much more petite. The waist landed mid-rib cage (my waist is approx. 18-19 inches from shoulder). The skirt (shown on picture to be below the knee) ended being mid-thigh.
