My husband thought I looked like a Laura Ingalls Wilder cosplayer, but I loved the fit and the style. Unfortunately it's pretty sheer (outline of the pocket and undies and the bra and or the slip sheer), and the V hit a little too low for my current slip. I loved it but didn't love it enough to buy a whole new slip just to wear it out of the house.

Choir Robes? Sexy Goth Vicar?
I was excited for this conceptually - and the slip that went with it was so well made I assumed that the mass of pleated chiffon would just miraculously work out. It very much did not. The collar didn't stand up (it flared out like an Elizabethan ruff) and the rest of it looked, and felt, like a choir robe.

Oh no
This dress amplified absolutely everything about my figure that is, shall we say, less than put together. My torso is short, so the waist hit the widest part of my hip, making my hips and backside look extra-dumpy. The proportions made me look even shorter than I am. And you can't tell from the photo, but there are little bits of fringe where the seams meet, which convinced me that even if I didn't look like a potato in this, I'd be terrified of snagging those threads on every sharp surface I walk by.

Cute but sagged open as the day wore on
Loved the color - it's surprisingly versatile! - and the fabric. The v wasn't too deep on me and despite being a tad big at the rib cage, it fit nicely with a pair of high waisted pants. And then I sat for a couple of hours and the fabric s-l-o-w-l-y started relaxing and opening up. Not exactly what I was looking for.

Pattern and cut made me happy
More fun than my usual work uniform, and made me feel like I was making "an entrance" coming in and out of meetings. The fit was rather flattering, but weren't super comfortable. The waist was a bit too nipped in for my post baby/short-waisted body and the lining was starting to pill.

I was swimming in this dress. The fabric is quite thick, so it was difficult to adjust the waist, drawstring or not. Tightening the drawstring had the unfortunate side effect of making the top gape. It also hit mid-shin, which made me look super stumpy.

The entrance
Comfortable and lovely, I needed to size up because it was too tight in the rib cage. There is no way this is petite friendly. Spent the night (in 3 inch heels), gathering my dress up.
