Gorgeous dress, very sexy and elegant
I loved this dress. It was sexy and elegant, but different. It was very flattering and the fabric had a nice weight and a luxurious feel. It is difficult to wear a bra with this dress, I have a low cut, low back bra that worked pretty well. I would say my one knock on the dress is that the front is cut very low and the slit in the bottom goes up very high, so I felt a little exposed. Also it was very air conditioned in the room where my event was, so I was cold. The navy blue reads as black in some pictures, but the color in person is really beautiful.

This dress is incredible, so flattering, looks expensive. I felt like a million bucks!
I got compliments all night long, from strangers. The back is sexy, the front is flattering. I loved it so much. I thought it ran a little bit big. I am pear shaped but I have a small rib cage and waist, so it was perfect for my figure. The 4 was a tad big on me, but I wore it anyway; it was the only size available.

I loved this dress so much. It is so flattering.
This dress is beautifully made and has a really nice shape and sheen to the fabric and design. I just had a baby 2 months ago and had to attend a family wedding and wanted something that would draw attention away from my current problem areas (stomach and hips.) I felt pretty and slim in this dress, even though I am currently a few sizes up from my normal weight/figure and my bust is bigger right now. It draws attention to the shoulder and waist area. The side zipper (on both sizes) was hard to get zipped up, I think it's too small of a zipper for the dress. Otherwise that is my only complaint. Also note that the dress looks dark navy in person but photographed more like a bright royal blue.

Beautiful, well fitting dress, showed off my slight baby bump without being uncomfortable.
I had a small baby bump when I wore this dress and wanted something that would stretch and make me look pregnant, rather than tenty and fat. This worked perfectly. I rented this same dress in different colors for two different events during this pregnancy. I have rented this dress pre-pregnancy when I was rail thin. It is very flattering and forgiving. It accentuates the waist and bust and has a beautiful neckline for jewelry.

This dress is so flattering and forgiving. I rented it last year in black in size 2R. Now I'm 4 months pregnant and larger than my usual size with a small baby bump. I remembered how flattering and stretchy this was around the waist and hips and figured I'd try it to show off a bump. I really wanted a dress that would show that I'm pregnant, not fat. This looked great.

This may be the least flattering, most matronly dress I've ever seen from RTRW. The top bust part is huge, like something that LOOKS like it is designed for extra support (nothing wrong with needing extra support, but no need to make it look orthopedic.) This dress was a total fail. I couldn't get it off of my body fast enough.

I was just barely pregnant when I rented this dress so a tad larger than my usual size. I wore the Small and it fit just right. I would size up for your back-up. It was perfect for a summer wedding. I felt like I stool out just enough but not too much and I got tons of compliments. It was comfortable (could wear a regular bra) and the material breathes nicely.

I am about 4 months pregnant so not my usual size. I wanted something comfortable and appropriate for synagogue, yet eye-catching. The color is beautiful and the material on the dress is kind of stretchy and soft. It was really comfortable. I would rent this again post-baby in my normal size (2.) I bet it would look great on a slender figure.

I usually steer clear of black b/c I want to stand out (and I steer clear of Nicole Miller b/c she's so ubiquitous) but I tried this on at RTRW's showroom and didn't want to take it off. That's the thing about Nicole, she knows how to fit a woman. I had been vacation eating and had a little belly pooch and it sucked me in and emphasized all the right curves. Everyone told me how thin and amazing I looked.

The dress was beautiful but really long. I was unable to wear it, even with really high heels. I am 5'4" and ordered the 2 regular. Also I have a pretty small rib cage and I remember it being a little tight/tough to zip.

I love this dress. I have rented it twice now. It is flattering and comfortable.
This dress runs large. I got the xs and it was pretty good, but if there had been an xxs I would've wanted to try it on. I have rented this dress twice now, the first time for a casual outdoor wedding, where I dressed it down with gold flats, the second time for a party where I dressed it up with some edgy tan bootie/heels and a big cuff bracelet. I wish I owned this dress! You can wear a regular bra with it, but tape or pin it down, as my bra is showing a little in some of the pics from the side.

Broke my Heart to Send it Back
I will forever regret that I didn't get a good picture of myself wearing this dress. It is my second favorite thing I've ever worn after my wedding dress. The colors are really bright and in a dark room with a flash picture the green comes out almost shiny gold, but to the eye it's more green, like in the picture. It fit me really well and I consider myself to be somewhat hippy, compared to the rest of me. If this helps anyone: I have a small waist (size 26 and I have a small rib cage/torso. The length of the regular was fine on me with heels that were about 2 1/2 inches.

I found the fit to be odd, the size that fit my hips and waist was HUGE across the chest. I have a small rib cage, but am not flat, (32C) so it was strange to me that it didn't fit up there. I wound up pinning the side when cutlets in my bra still didn't do the trick. But it was worth it to get to wear this gem of a dress. I got so many compliments. I would definitely get a back-up size if you are getting this dress. Maybe go your true size and then go up a size if you are hippy. Go down a size if you are flat chested.

I rented this for my cousin's wedding and loved it. When it went on sale a few months later I bought it. Last weekend I was at another family event and a few people remembered "that purple dress you wore last time." A year later!!
I loved this dress. I wish I owed it. I got tons of compliments. The color photographed beautifully and the cut was generally very slimming, but in a few pics I noticed later that from the wrong angle the ruffle on the side kind of made me look bigger than I am. I am 2, 4 and I wore the 2, but there wasn't much difference in the fit, either would've worked. One thing that bugged me: there is this mesh lining that kept hanging out below the bottom hem. If it were my dress I would've taken some scissors to that part - an easy fix.

This was my backup. I didn't end up wearing it b/c it was more revealing than I wanted to go for a family affair (cousin's wedding.) It is a very pretty dress, the material is a light weight wool. I am usually a size 2, small ribcage, capital C cup. The 2 fit fine, but I would've worn the 4 for more coverage. This is a lovely dress, but I agree it's better for someone with a smaller bra size and for an occasion when you want to be more sexy. Also would be hard to wear a bra with it.
