This is a great dress, however, I would say the top runs a bit big (or true to size but I wore a size larger than normal) and the bottom runs a bit small.  I typically wear a size 4 but glad I reserved the second size in a 6 as it was more fitted through the thighs than I anticipated.  Overall though, a great dress and I loved wearing it.  

This was actually better in person than in the photos on RTR. Color was stunning. A snug fit as the fabric has no give at all. 

This is a great dress,  vibrant color and comfortable to wear. Is fitted in the waist so I wore the larger size, I had to pin the top as it was fairly low cut .

This dress fit so well. The only thing I needed was some double sided tape as it gapes in the chest a bit. If you have a small chest, don't rent this dress. I have a large chest and it wasn't tight, even in the 2. But otherwise it was beautiful and comfortable and I wish I owned this one. The material is thin so perfect for a warmer weather event. I paired it with nude wedges. Would absolutely rent again. 

Perfect dress for the early spring wedding I was attending...the color is a great rich purple (photographs more like a blue color).  It was so comfortable and I was able to wear a regular bra with it.  I got so many compliments on the dress.  Would definitely recommend this dress!

I wore this to a wedding on the first day of fall.  I received so many compliments on this dress!  I loved the fact that a regular bra with straps could be worn with this dress.  Great fit, style, and color.  You won't be disappointed!

This is a really fun, great fitting dress. It can photograph slightly blue but this is definitely a purple dress, the same color as the model photo. The dress runs very true to size and being able to wear a standard bra is great. Such a cute style!

I wore this dress for New Year's Eve. The royal purple color is stunning! I received many compliments on the dress throughout the night. Great party dress!

Wore to a day-time horserace event. Loved the color and flattering fit. It showed off the girls a bit more than I was expecting from the model's picture, but overall loved it! 

Overall the dress fit true to size, however it fit a bit smaller than expected in the bust. It was low cut and revealed my bra, so I had to pin it closed. Otherwise the fit of the dress was flattering and comfortable. 

The dress fit well on my full hourglass figure. I imagine women with a smaller bust might not fill out this dress. I used fashion tape to secure it in place. The skirt fit pretty snug, even though I wore the 12, and it rode up a bit when sitting. This issue, plus the thin fabric, earns this dress a less than perfect score. The bright purple color, striped pattern on the fabric, thick waist band, and flowing front ruffle kick it up a level to a four star number. Perfect for a holiday party, paired with a cardigan and boots. I'd rent it again in the Spring or Fall to better show off the flattering fit and neckline. 

The dress is a gorgeous color and the pattern on the material is nice, but was a bit tight around the hips and bigger/baggier in the chest area. I liked that I could wear a normal bra with this dress though. I don't think it's a dress I would have bought because of the fit.

I wore this dress for a spring wedding. The color and style of this dress are really pretty. The fit however is a little strange. I ordered two sizes, my normal dress size and a size up. I had to end up wearing the bigger size. The bust area was huge. I am a 34 DD cup too, so I usually have the opposite problem with dresses. I had to use fashion tape to keep the top closed around the chest. The bottom of the dress is snug like a pencil skirt. It was nice that I could wear a regular bra with it tho. The straps are covered perfectly by the dress.  I wore it with nude shoes. It seems to be a flattering color on all skin tones, and i did get compliments on it throughout the evening. I would recommend getting a back up size for this one. 

I float between a 6 & 8 and wore the 8. The other reviews described it being tight in the hips, but it was more so tight around the lower rib cage, just below your bust. I did have to pin it at the chest because every time I sat down, the V line expanded and everything was exposed. I'm a 36DDD and didn't feel restricted in the bust at all. Overall I really enjoyed wearing this dress. 

Very well-made, good quality, and snug fit made it the perfect dress for a seaside wedding.  I could have used an extra cup size to fill out the bust.  The length was not too short or too long and it paired well with heels, but could have just as easily looked darling with flats.  It would also be cute with a tailored suit jacket for an evening look.  Worth every penny!

I got a lot of complements on this dress. It photographs fantastically. Only thing is that the material does not stretch so it gets a little short and snug when you sit.  

At first I was excited to show off some boobage, but like other girls, I ended up pinning the top together so I wouldn't have a wardrobe malfunction. 
The color of this dress is gorgeous! Bright purple. 
Very fitted at the waist, but the entire top is blousy and billowy. 
Fabric has NO give, good for narrow hips but will be snug otherwise. 
The 6 fit me better, but I couldn't get the zipper to zip, so I wore the 8.  

Pros: great color and shape.
Cons: even at a 32F the bust was HUGE, had to pin it to keep from a wardrobe malfunction and used the bra strap holders to keep it pulled back. Very baggy at the underarms. Also very tight at the hips and no stretch at the fabric so spanx were a must for me!

Creates curves where I don't have them.  This is really a beautiful, deep rich purple.  Great, flattering fit!  I would rent this dress again.

So thankful for being able to order two sizes! I normally wear a size 10 in both dresses, but sometimes my large bust necessitates a 12, and that was the case here. The 12 fit like a glove and I am still receiving compliments two days after the event. Mt first RTR experience, but not my last!

I was able to get the dress to zip up no problems when I tried it on upon receiving it.  However, the day of the event the zipper would only zip halfway up.  My husband and I tried everything we could to get it to go up short of ripping the dress but it wouldn't budge. Panic mode was setting in as I didn't have a back up with me.  My friend's husband started fooling with the dress and discovered a very small thread in the teeth of the zipper. One that was moved the dress zipped right up!  I paired this dress against my husbands light gray suit and wore silver shoes and silver accent jewelry. It is very comfortable for dancing the night away.

fits perfect to the body, gives you curves and very comfortable. 

Fit was good, a little snug at my thighs but not bad overall. Very pretty color in person. 

Ok, it was a beautiful dress, I love the color, but I am just stunned by the overall incompetence of the designer when it comes to fit. The bottom of the dress was waaaay too tight even with super tight spanx and the top was waaay too loose (I had to tape it). I have an hourglass figure and most dresses can work with that, but this dress was clearly made for someone with tiny hips and dolly parton breasts. It was also super tight around the stomach, which is not the most flattering if you have anything but a flat stomach. You have been warned.

This was my backup dress for a wedding, and luckily, the first dress fit perfectly.  I wore the Shoshanna blue and red lace dress in a 10; this one, also a 10, was way too tight in the thighs.  So the skirt is narrower than it looks in the picture.  

Overall, though, the material and color are beautiful.  This dress is a winner; I was sorry it didn't fit.

Overall the dress was true to size and I loved the look of it.  I got it in both 4 and 6, but the 6 was definitely way too big because overall the bust of the dress runs a little large.  The 4 looked great when I tried it on, but sitting down for dinner I could tell the bust was a little loose there as well, even though I am on the bustier side.

Rented this for a fall black tie event to wear with black tights, black suede pumps, and gold jewelry. The grape color was fun to wear, and other reviews were accurate in the fact that it photographs more blue than purple. RTR's own photos of it are true-to-color though. Liked the front draping and fabric texture as well. My normal size, a 6, was unavailable, so took a gamble on a 4. It ended up fitting well, as I would've been swimming in the bust in a 6, though a 6 would've fit slightly better through the hips.

I didn't end up wearing this dress, but it was a great fit and really fun. The color is very vibrant & the dress is form fitting so it was a bit much for the conservative wedding I was going to. I hope to be able to rent it in the future. 

I rented this for my engagement pictures and would have worn it, but the pictures got rained out. I think the color would really pop in photos, it is beautiful. Fits very true to size (maybe a tiny bit big) and the detailing on the skirt and straps gives it some interest. It is a good length and not too low cut, so it's perfect for an event where you want to look classy but not stuffy. I would give it 4.5 stars if I could, the only thing keeping it from 5 is that it isn't a total WOW dress.

I got this dress for a Rehearsal Dinner for a friend's wedding. I ordered this as my second dress so I only got one size and should have probably gotten the size 0 instead of the 2. It fit really well thru the hips but was slightly baggy up top. I just couldn't fill it out even with falsies. Would probably be a better fit for someone with a bigger bust - I'm 34 B on a good day. However I don't think anyone noticed. On the up side the color is great really deep rich purple but can show up blue in some light. Because of the straps you can easily wear a normal bra which was super nice to not have to worry about readjusting constantly. 

I should have trusted other reviews that mentioned it's not a good dress for small chested women.  If I was going to wear it, I was going to pin  the shoulders back with a pin since my hair would cover it.   Also while i like the front ruffle, it's not complimentary for a petite woman.  Pretty purple color.  

The dress was great, but listen to the other reviewers! It fits larger in the bust than it looks on the model - but a Victoria's Secret bombshell bra fixed that for me. The skirt is very straight and the material doesn't allow a lot of give, so it was just a tad tight in the hips. A size 6 would have been perfect but unfortunately they were out of that size for backup for my event. Beautiful color though and got lots of compliments on it! I wore it with nude peep-toe pumps! 

This dress was not as "dressy" as I hoped. I am typically a 10 or 12 but couldn't get either on. Skirt was a little too tight as well as rib cage.  Great customer service RTR is sending me a new dress of my choice free of charge : ) 

I originally ordered Kate Spade Mademoiselle in sizes 4 and 6. The 6 wasn't available last minute so RTR chose and sent this dress instead. I'm almost always a size 6 but this dress wasn't the look I was going for and it was too tight. I couldn't get it in! It's a pretty dress but not my style. I was disappointed with this back up dress. RTR does have great customer service so I was overnighted a third dress. 

I wanted so badly to wear this dress!  I could barely fit in the 4, and definitely had trouble zipping it up.  It's a super cute dress, great color & I'm sure the fit would be flattering if it didn't run so small.

Top was too big compared to the bottom. I usually wear at 4, but the 4 bottom was too small. The 6 top was big but not terrible. 

I chose this dress to where to a rehearsal dinner party. It's a pretty color and I like how it looks on model. However,  I didn't have the hips or boobs to fill out this dress. It sagged and looked matronly. Decided not to wear it.
