It’s nice - I would size down if you want a snatched waist. Elastic on the side of the dress will make it fit. Shows dirt like crazy. I didn’t do anything that would make me dirty, but I was suddenly finding dust/dirt streaks all over the dress. Needs lining as well - you can see the outline of the pockets because fabric is thin

Beautiful and perfect for outdoor wedding
Dress should have been amazing -- however, this is the first time I was unimpressed with RTR's dry cleaning. The dress arrived a bit wrinkled and the straps were not steamed whatsoever. I've rented cotton dresses before, and they shouldn't wrinkle as quickly as this one did. RTR needs to take extra care with this one. Otherwise, I sized up and it fit a little loosely, but well. I was comfortable. I received lots of compliments, which is great!

Fabulous dress -- received so many compliments all night. The dress is also slyly sexy -- it's really figure hugging without being too tight or revealing. It definitely runs small. I normally wear an 8 but sized up to a 10. I would have sized up to a 12 if it was available! It fit really well on my waist but was tight across the hips

Pirate shirt!
Didn't wear this. Would be a cute shirt if sleeves weren't so wide! (They are much puffier than picture depicts). I felt like a pirate -- my roommate immediately compared me to Seinfeld's puffy shirt episode. Could not wear to work!

This dress is great, very trendy. It's more navy than it looks in the pictures. It was a little small in the bust for me (I'm a 34C) so I went up from an 8 to a 10.

Overall, the dress is nice and flattering! I gave it 3 stars for two reasons: 1. It runs small, especially in the bust. 2. I didn't realize that the ruffle is sequins....in the photos it looks like the same fabric as the ribbon. Still a nice dress though and a great color for blondes!

A nice black dress, but not stunning!
The fabric is very comfortable and has a lot of give, which is a plus because the dress is form-fitting. Also, the neckline is fabulous and really lifts your chest--a bra isn't necessary! However, because the material is stretchy, the dress tends to ride up as you walk. It never got scandalously short, but I did have to pull the hemline down several times during the night.

FANTASTIC DRESS!!! I received so many compliments, heads were turning all night!
Definitely a form fitting dress, but as long as you order the right size, it covers minor flaws. Very low cut--definitely wear a Nu bra. Despite being a low cut, the dress stays in place very well--I was never worried about any "wardrobe malfunctions".

I wore this to a sorority philanthropy event.
I was disappointed by Rebecca Taylor's choice of material for this dress. It was a synthetic material that was not a high quality. Also, there is a slit in the back that runs pretty high, so be wary if you are tall! I was constantly fidgeting to ensure that others did not get too much of a view of my backside. At the same time, though, I received many compliments from others! Overall, I think that I looked fine but there are better black peplum dresses out there.

This was a fabulous dress. You can't tell in the picture, but it has a beautiful train in the back. It runs true to size. Since I am so tall, I ordered it in the long size, and it worked perfectly. I recommend renting the long if you are taller than 5'8.
