Received many many compliments on this dress. It is very flattering.
The bit of stretch in the fabric made this dress very comfortable to wear, and the length was perfect with moderate to high heels.

The deep purple/blue of the dress made me feel like royalty, and I received compliments on the style and color all night from my friends. It moves beautiful when you dance too! :-)
Vera Wang dresses are dreamy, and the fit and fabric quality of this dress in particular are testament to that. Loved the pockets, and the fact that you could adjust the drape in the back to be conservative or very provocative. I go to a Christian school and they had to approve the dress so the back and the slit in front made me wonder if it would pass inspection, but the dress is so classy and elegant it was never an issue.
